Nice concept. Can't help but feel that the execution of it will be much better if instead of the 2 side of walls, you use the piece counts to create a bit more furnitures and accessories? Aurra Sing is cool and like you I'll love a chance to get a Zem Wessel minifigure too. Got to love the expression on some of those heads.

Now that we have 1 Market Street go for $300, we see another listing for it seeking that price ==> Market Street. Maybe I should list mine too at some stage.

Let's hope it gets delivered in time for you to update your BP. Your BP is really a great concept and I just think it will be the icing on the cake once you add the new Ewoks in. At the moment I can imagine what it will look like. Good work. Hope you didn't think my suggestion is a bad criticism or anything like that.

Very nice BP. It'll be a great BP for those who joined Lego SW late and missed out on the original Gungan minifigures.

Don't know why its on special but they got heaps of them so must be trying to reduce them or else its linked to their birthday sale. It can easily be end of line price reduction because it seem like everywhere I go you can count on finding a number of V19 on the shelves. Don't seem to be all that popular but its actually quite a nice set ... with some innovative features. I might be going back later today so if you're keen I can pick one up for you. Just means you have to pay $75 plus postage.

Great BP AoNZ. I like the Catamaran. Very good fit for a Kashyyyk Clone BP. The custom Clones are nice but I just wonder whether they need more lime and less white? Too much white can't be good for camouflage.

Great BP. I like the Ewoks using the helmets as drums. Might look nicer with the new Ewoks from Battle of Endor tho.

Very cool. The MOC itself is pretty cool but the LED completely changed it. Looks so much better ... w/o the LED you might have to let in more light to be able to see the MOC but now you can get the right atmosphere.

For those in Auckland, Toyworld Onehunga is having a birthday sale with 20% off all toys. I picked up the Medieval Market Village for $160. The V19 Torrent is on sale for $75 too. There's some technic sets on sale too but I didn't get to have a good look since I was in a hurry. Might try to go back tomorrow or something to see what else is on special.

Amazing. This is one cool entry for the contest. I like the concept, box art and execution. This will be a fantastic set if its real. I'll get it even if it is double the price of a standard BP.

Very nice and sleek. I like the engine block. I dont' follow bionicle but I can see from your MOC that there's some interesting possibilities for it.

Great review and very useful for me. I have room in my budget this year for either this or the Fire Brigade and after reading your review I think I'm siding towards the Fire Brigade. Seem to me that my Lego collection can do without this for a while. I like the comparision shot of the Republic Cruiser and Tantive IV. Didn't realise they r so similar in size ... but what a difference in price.

Petition: We want the Pirates Advent Calender in the United States

Signed. -
Very funny. Wish my mum will make me one.

Here's an example of the difference for the Clone Walker BP: I didn't know about this until I picked up a 6212 X-Wing while in Hawaii and found that it had some extra box graphics compared to the version in NZ.

The Penguin's Batman Minifigures. )
Fumoffu replied to The Penguin's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
These are really good MOC. I really like the expression on the Mad Hatter. Its so close to the photo. Well done. Maybe its just my sick mind or something but Ventriloquist looks like he got his arm up Scarface's backside!! -
Good MOC. I like the fact that no new parts are required. I'll defintely have to try to create it and see it "live". I like your custom minifigures too.

Very nice fighter. Really like the rear aspect and the missle launchers. The hangar seem a bit small for it tho. Does the wing fold up?
-
Very very nice. Amazing how just different combos can give such different and fantastic results. Definitely makes my lone GG looks very very average now. Now I want to go out and get at least another GG but that's a fairly big hit to the bank. I agree that Lego should release floors as partspack.

Like your other trains, this is very nice as it is. It does look narrow compared to the actual train. I'm not up to speed with Lego Trains but is the narrowness a limitation imposed by the track or Lego's train design?

The Tie Defender should be EU. I believe it was introduced in the PC game Tie Fighter and that was set way after the CW. I'm not even sure whether the TIE Fighter itself was a production model at the times of the CW. This is the first EU set that I think is great ... based on prelim pics. Jury is still out for actual final pics and reviews.

This is one amazing MOC. I like the hanging skeleton and the way you created the poping hat on that guy with the surprised look. Not sure whether you created the effect on purpose but it is really great the way the scene from the outside looks kind of calm but the scene inside is chaotic and so busy. Thanks for sharing. A real eye-opener.

That has always been a complaint for fans from different countries but in Australia and NZ part of the reason might be GST. Also despite the ridiculous difference ... us Kiwis (or should that be suckers) are still buying them so that's sending a message that the price is fine. We're a smaller market and no competitions etc etc. I think the biggest reason might be the fact that we're still buying them at those prices.

Not important. What I wanted to know is whether you consciously picked that grey/green colour scheme or did you end up with that scheme simply because you had a pile of green brick that you will work for the MOC. Whether its by design or accident?
-
Very nice MOC. Like u said its not sleek but bulky starfighter like this one has a place too. Nice colour scheme. I like the green. Did you picked the green or you just happened to have surplus of those bricks?
