Clever idea and well done. I'm not sure where the "Clone" comes in tho because those girls don't look like clones unless there's a few different templates for these clone girls. I like the background and photos. Really well done. I need to work on my digital manipulation skills.

Great idea and BP. I'll definitely buy this. Can do with more DS Troopers. The console is great but I'm not so sure about the blaster. Maybe I just prefer sleeker looking blasters to what you got. Good work.

I just received the new Kmart flyer and Space Police are on sale. On average 25% off RRP. That WHS sale is pretty good. Not sure if there's $100 worth of stuff I want to get the keyring and not sure if I'll be able to get one anyway with only 180 available.

Thanks guys for all the comments so far. Just a few response here: My bad for posting my competition entry into the wrong section. Sorry. I now know better. As for the Orange ... its a moment of madness really. I was finishing up the speeder and thought the rear looks ordinary then my glaze fell on an old Exo-Force and I thought "why not". The orange does stand out a bit. I'll see if I can come up with something better with Mark II of the speeder. The chick on the speeder is not Mara Jade (it should be). Its supposed to be a generic Emperor's Hand. I happen to subscribe to the school of thought that says no main characters in Battle Packs. I was going to have a Battle Pack with a random Emperor's Hand with 4 variations available but I saw someone had that idea for another Battle Pack so I saved myself some work and settled for 1 generic character. When I work on Mark II of the speeder I will use Mara Jade as the character. Just need to pop a red colour female hairpiece on it and its done.

The Emperor’s Hand serves the Emperor all over the galaxy, doing jobs the Imperial Fleet and stormtroopers couldn’t handle, exposing traitors, bring down enemies and helped keep control over the bureacracies. They have almost unlimited access and authority to accomplish their missions. Equipped with a powerful versatile speeder and supported by three hand picked elite Royal Guard, the Emperor’s Hand allows the Emperor to touch all parts of the galaxy. • Includes a Sienar Technologies prototype speeder, Emperor’s Hand and 3 Royal Guards. Set name: Emperor's Hand Battle pack Set number: 5792 Pieces: 50 (Speeder - 40, Accessories - 10) Minifigs: 4 Here is the Box: Here are the minifigures: Disclaimer: My camera died on me before I can go back and take more photos and sharper photos. I'll take some more photos of the speeder as soon as I can borrow a camera and work out how to take sharper photos. Comments: I loved the idea of the Emperor's Hand ever since I read the Thrawn trilogy and was introduced to Mara Jade and the Emperor's Hand so when the time came to come up with a concept for a Battle Pack I thought why not. I get the sense that EU isn't all that popular on EB but I had fun creating this BP (putting aside the dead camera and poor photography).

Very nice and well executed Basilisk given the limitation on brick count.

Very nice MOC. You might be able to improve it a little more by using different colour strips on the body to create that "dirty/battle scar" look. Especially on the engine block. The engine block probably needs to be a smaller. Its a great effort and one of the best I seen so far. Not an easy ship to MOC.

Nice BP. Only suggestion I have is to maybe use something else for steering. Steering wheel just don't seem very Star Wars/Sci Fi to me.

Very informative review. Excellent photography too. Either I need to take some photo lessons or I need a better camera because my Lego photos just don't come out this well. This is a set that I missed out on and I really want it but didn't want to fork out the ebay/Bricklink prices plus postage to NZ. After reading your review and seeing some of the features you just don't see from the box I'm thinking maybe I should bite the bullet and get it.

Nice concept and execution. Not sure about that blaster/telescope thing on the skiff but the rest of it is great.

Nice vig. Looks like its not just the boy that has mischief on his mind.

I am really looking forward to this theme. There's some very interesting new pieces coming. Can't wait for clear pics to become available. Along with the new Toy Story line and rumoured Star Wars sets, it looks like 2010 will be a great year for Lego and very very hard on the wallet/credit card.

This CAT looks much more substantial than your BP version. I like this version more because it looks more "real". Those custom Phase II clones look pretty good. Are they meant to be chrome/silver? Not sure if you want sth so reflective in the jungle.

A very nice review of one of my favourite Star Wars starfighter. Like you said, its a good timing for this review as we look forward to the new version. I like the photo comparing this to the Sith Interceptor and Grevious' Fighter. Gives a very good perspective on how big it is. I like these ships with interesting wing designs (like the V-19, Xwing, B-Wing etc). Its interesting to see how Lego implement the variable wings. I think the V-19 has the most interesting mechanism to date. Better stop now since I'm off topic.

Nice BP. To borrow the rating systems used for reviews: Design: 5/10- Simple variation of an existing design. Concept is great but execution can be better. Minifigures:10/10 - Can't really ask for more or a better selection. Playability: 10/10 - Fun to swoosh around. I'll buy it tho if this is a real set. Probably multiples of it.
-
Very nice on both ships. You done well with so little pieces.

Excellent review of an iconic Star Wars vehicle. I agree with your rating. This is a very cool set and the number of minifigures is just the icing on the cake. The hinge technique used to create the nose is different and works quite well. This set will be right up there as one of the best for me.

Nice and it is different. I'll get a pack with lots of Anakins in it but I'm not sure whether I'll get more than one tho. With a more generic BP then people are more likely to buy multiple. That aside it is a clever idea and well executed. The speeder has a Chopper feel about it.

I had fantastic experience with Lego Customer Service on the two times I had problems. The first time they sent me the correct minifigure head very quickly. The second time I had probmems clearing my purchase from Shop@Home through customs and they dealt with that really quickly and professionally.

Very nice Mecha Solders. Reminds me of many of those Mecha anime I watched (like Mospeda).
-
Very very nice MOC. Looks like a bit like two massive engines with a cockpit tacked onto it. I like the the effect that creates.

Farmers' Cardholder day on Thursday (17 Sept) and there's 20% off all toys if you pay by Farmers Card.

Very nice MOC. Clever use of Space Police heads and a good selection of weapons. I assume that Indy's whip is supposed to be a lightwhip similar to Lumiya's? What's those grey boxes supposed to represent?

Excellent review of a pretty average set. There's not a lot going for this set even with the exclusive minifigs. I hope to pick up a set later on sale and I suspect it will go on sale for a substantial discount because you can find this set on all shelves ... a bit like the Assassin Droid BP. Fans are voting with their wallets on this one.

Very nice customs minifigs. Are those supposed to be wooden asian slippers? Not sure what the correct names for them are but very clever.
