  1. Nice looking vehicle. Could you please provide more details about a MOC, few words about its performace?
  2. I wonder if grey wheels same like black ones became glossy too?
  3. I'd say such addition is completely fine even with purists since you add a visual improvement only. And you don't cheat wth part modification i.e. making live easier.
  4. That's true, but you cannot say from the box if there are new or old type wheels inside.
  5. Well people breaking records are allowed to analise the cube before taking an attempt. I believe this was done here also - cube rotated, phone calculated the solving path and EV3 just did the dirty job.
  6. If you still prefer using buggy motors consider using RC unit.
  7. Thanks for inspiring comments! Yeah, MOC sharing standards are high these days (you need great quality photos, HD video and BI just before starting a topic). Anyway, I'm affraid phone quality video is maximum I can do.
  8. Hi everyone. This is probably my first successful MOC created after dark ages (couple of others are unsuccessful in progress). We had a small contest for members of our BalticLUG living its early days, the main idea was to create a MOC related to winter, snow and ice. No strict rules, except splitting for active and static MOCs. Since joining EB and looking all those awesome crawlers and TT I wanted to create something you can drive outside. So winter is a perfect time for this as there are no mud or sand, just frozen water. I have created a sporty looking tracker. It is almost a C-model of 42006 set, with just like 4 extra parts and PF stuff. C-model idea comes quickly, once you disassemlbe 42006 set and observe the variety of parts it offers, however it limits the number of functions. Build process was fun and a bit challenging, as a space is a bit of an issue. The final result isn't as much as I expected. While model drives quickly on a carpet and flat surface it didn't perform as good on hard snow (slipping) or a softer one (not much of a torque). Anyway it was fun and no damage has been made, even the baterry box on the bottom didn't have a scratch. Specs: 30 studs in length (including spoiler ) and 20 studs in width 2 PF L-motors, one motor per tracks side PF IR-receiver V2 Standart BB Some more photos Instructions (photo sequence) available for download
  9. I've build one without building instructions - quite a fun challenge (too less photos on the box and BI)
  10. Unless it is 9398 with its shock absorbers not being of top quality sometimes - one or two of the springs compresses over time.
  11. Cool one, reminds me more of Basic sets 715 and 735.
  12. I hope the reason for new plastic is to be independant from petroleum based plastic and not to be Green i.e. bio-or-whatever degradeable. Cannot say if it is good or bad before we get some parts to check on our own.
  13. Not a single box has gone from me, even the ones from before the dark age.
  14. That's cool! I won't be buying one, sorry but I'd like to suggest you to make better quality photo (now it is very blurry). Also some additional photos of suggested combinations would be helpful for someone who stumble upon your shop.
  15. I wonder if anyone who already received a copy could post backside of double-decker couch from instructions please.
  16. That's quite big difference in price :/
  17. I still wonder how do they lock 42030 in "turned" position.
  18. If you just need suspension parts I'd go for buying them from LEGO customer service. However set comes with some good parts, that I think are worth its money.
  19. I tried doing that, since German S@H doesn't have any promo this month (others have "TLM Piece of Resistance") but once you select other country, you cannot change delivery country, i.e. specific S@H ships to its country only.
  20. B-model is more attractive than the main one for me.
  21. Did you notice loader's steering didn't return to center when controller wasn't in hands. I wonder if this is a new feature or they just turned power off, while loader was turned left.
  22. I wonder what is the price tag for pickup truck?
  23. Pick up doesn't look very good aestetically - good base for mods. I like the huge amount of red panels. Must be VOLVO uses green colored engines
