^Looks like you got your answer, if you're still looking for one here is a link to a nice color chart on Swooshable.

I held off buying the Town Hall and was surprised by it's early retirement. I decided to bricklink it. I too was put off by the expense of Dark Orange. Since I never liked the color Dark Orange it seemed silly buy a lot of it. I considered just doing the front in Drk Orange, but then I remembered the older Town Hall that was Dark Green. I had been collecting Dark Green for awhile so it turned out I had plenty just go ahead and build it. There are a few parts that aren't available but the substitutions are easy. I took a quick pic of it for you, the color is hard to capture with my phone camera and the light in my house, I think it looks better in person than in pictures.

I wouldn't consider this a MOD of the Friends Grocery Store, it is way beyond that. Nice work.

Perhaps my unfamiliarity with Spongebob is why I find this minifig slightly frightening.

That Teddy Bear was part of the Belville line. The Toys"r"us truck is the only system set to include it. The Bellville theme had a lot of freaky stuff going on, but does provide some interesting parts in unique colors. Here are some of my personal favorites. Not sure what's going on with that dog, I kind of want one though. Zombie Teddy Bear Beach Party? Check out the full line on Brickset

Did you try BrickOwl? http://royroy.brickowl.com/store/lego-nokama-set-8602#10375461 -
Construct-a-Zurg and Space Skulls are often joked about on the Brickset forum. Also Market Street- There is an unending discussion about wether it is part of the modular series and how ugly it is, or isn't. It is also expensive on the aftermarket and expensive to Bricklink due to a few rare parts. It leaves some people feeling their collection is incomplete and that they will have to spend a lot of money for something they don't really want if they want to complete the collection.

It came out the year I was born so it's easy for me to remember.

It'll be 40 years since A New Hope.

Have you checked out MiniFigures.com? I've never actually bought anything from them, but from reviews that I've read they seem to do quality work. http://www.minifigures.com

Finding alternate colors of a piece...?

Brickset uses Lego's database for parts. If Lego drops a part from their database it won't show up on Brickset. Lucky for us Bricklink's database is user created and seemingly includes every Lego. -
Nice build. Since you are using Flicker it is quite easy to put a picture in your post. On Flicker pick the photo you want. Click the share button (the little curved arrow). Choose the BBCode option. Copy the link. Paste in your post.

It looks wonderful. Your use of plates adds a lot of nice subtle details all over the building. The effect is especially effective on the texture of the back wall, as if it is built of real bricks.

These two aren't in production anymore, but shouldn't be hard to find. Lex Luther is pretty cheap on Bricklink. Lex Luther from #6862 Bruce Wayne from #6860

Spotlighting fake sets that have been going around.

Definitely proves that the guy who posted this pic, claiming it was blurred to avoid spoilers, was a troll. -
Could use a parts suggestion, please.

The straight middle section of the sprue is just slightly thinner than a bar. A clip or minifig hand will hold it, but not tightly. The C shaped part is standard bar thickness. -
Does this count as a Lego component? 5363-1: Mountain Climber

Looks like you found a great solution, but I'll still share what I found. -
There is a topic devoted to wished for Star Wars sets. It might take a few hours to read through- it started in 2008 http://www.eurobrick...pic=107233&st=0

Still waiting for a Slave Leia constraction figure...

That looks like a handy tool. It's too bad Lego doesn't still produce it.

Grand Moff Tarkin? He was on the Death Star when Luke blew it up, that seems hard to recover from. Is there story line in the EU that has him survive/escape?

Mall of America, MN. They have a large wall (2x the size of other stores I've been to) and I'd say about a quarter of the bins are devoted to Pick-a-model parts. The pink pieces are not P.A.M. parts.

Here are the current Pick a Model builds and the parts list. It's great to get 1x4s and 1x2s in dark grey. I grabbed some of the dark azure 1x2s just because I've never seen them on the wall before. Had my daughter with me today, she slipped in a head and torso (from the build a minifig) as I was filling in the voids in my cup. I didn't realize she was carrying it with her, and I didn't notice it in the cup until I had put more parts on top of it. I risked it and left it in there, please don't tell on us.
