  1. The styles are definitely different. But LEGO has come a long way since 2010-2011. New pieces, new techniques, new hair pieces and accessories. So I think that both eras do/did a good job of representing the theme. I think that display above looks really good. Especially the use of the 2011 Hogwarts as the Bell Towers.
  2. That Darth Vader mosaic looks gorgeous. I really hope both these and the helmet lines continue.
  3. Count me in as well please! I promise my character won’t get drunk this time..... I promise.
  4. All 3 shots look great. 1st one has a good cramped feel about it - like we're in the tunnel with the characters. 2nd and 3rd ones are really good too - both have a nice cinematic feel to them. Good editing there.
  5. Waterfall and cliff look really nice. Good use of the padlock plate to keep the droid head and arm in place
  6. Agreed the depth pays off really well here. Also love the helmet display - gives it a good museum vibe.
  7. Great build here! Very clean and crisp.
  8. The new head is a huge improvement. Glad to see a neutral expression as well.
  9. Thanks for the game DD! Role playing was really fun and I hope the RP prize is something future hosts adopt in some way. It encouraged some really fun role play. I was Josie. You should be seeing a less drunk me from now on
  10. Thank you both! Inspiration from this came from a few Starkiller base MOCs I saw online. Getting that grey/white blend.
  11. Loads of good details here! Reminds me a little of Thrawn's office from Star Wars Rebels. And is that the Inquisitor's helmet and lightsabre on the shelf? Also love those suit storage tubes.
  12. Yeah for me that's the massive pain when they change moulds. I don't mind the new Stormtrooper helmet but I do prefer the old one.
  13. *Your entry has earned 4 XP* ***CASE FILE*** ***ADMINISTRATOR MARCBURK*** ***IMPERIAL OFFICER*** ***SECURITY FOOTAGE SHOWS HE WAS IN HIS ROOM AT THE TIME OF THE MURDER*** ***TROOPER TK-284 WITNESSED ARGUMENT BETWEEN VICTIM AND MARCBURK*** 20200619_104402 by Tariq J, on Flickr After my interrogation of Rebel Leader Rix Dangir had devolved into a shouting match my attention was focused toward Imperial Officer Marcburk. I had briefly served under him during the Battle of the Suprosa so we had a vague knowledge of one another. I decided rather than keeping him in a cell I would meet him out in the hallway. I wanted to keep things casual, like a meeting between old friends, rather than interrogating him straight out of the blue. 20200619_103332 by Tariq J, on Flickr As I entered our temporary base on Ota I was warmly greeted by him with a firm handshake. “Ah Tariq, long time no see! I was sorry to hear about your loss on Endor, how are things?” “And you Administrator, not bad same old” I replied. “Look, you don’t need to lie to me. I know why you’re here, this is about that Officer that got killed a few days ago right?”. Typical, always knew what everyone was up too. “You got me” I replied with a half smile. “Come on Tariq, you’ve known me for years, what say we just brush this whole interrogation under the rug eh? I’ll throw in a free drink when we get out of here” I sighed, my moral compass torn between friendship and the mission. “If it was any other way I’d let is slide but I can’t. You know how the higher ups are, they’ll sniff out anything if they think I’m playing them. If it’s any consolation we know you stayed in your quarters all night. Could you at least tell me what you were arguing about?” 20200619_103723 by Tariq J, on Flickr “Fine, him and Coomar wanted to mine on the Sneeve holy land and I objected” “you know why we lost at Endor? We interfered with the locals. They know their their territory” He continued “he refused and said I was being a coward, that I was not Empire material because of my refusal to agree with the mining. Do remember that time when the Empre mined at the Lothal Jedi Temple and it sucked them all into the ground? You never touch Holy Ground it never ends well”. Final build on Ota from me! Would love to hear feedback.
  14. Good work here. I like the use of the Batman belt with the clones and the use of the rubber band to keep the weapons in place.
  15. Welcome to factions! Nicely built waterfall and I like how you’ve included the rock face behind it. Also love the close up shot making us feel like we’re in actually in the build.
  16. Very nice rock sculpture. I agree with Darth Bjorn - it has a cool Anubis/Aladdin Cave of Wonders type vibe to it. Love the Top Gear reference as well!
  17. Good build. Nice work with rock face. That door’s really well integrated into the build.
  18. Awesome build. I love the way you’ve done the railings on the stairs. The walkway has a really good army base feel to it.
  19. Looks very good. Reminiscent of Episode 4 and I love that it’s functional.
  20. The first two shots look really good - very cinematic and makes us feel like we’re in the MOC itself. I agree the landscaping looks good, especially the rock face.
  21. Good little build! I like the SNoT base.
  22. That’s a really great build. I love the cramped feel of it. And the holo sign looks really good.
  23. I think it could. Much like how the Death Star had elements from both films. Leaky Cauldron with a bedroom, a small dining area and bar and with some kind of moving wall would be neat.
  24. That Darth Vader minifgure . The Resistance Ship looks really good.
  25. That’s a great first shot. Love the Star Destroyer.
