It’s a very creative take on the licence. Hopefully we will see regular sets and mini figures brought into the mix eventually.

I think they look fine. The Stomrtooper appears to look a lot better from the front view than the angled view on the box. I think there’s also an appeal to here outside the AFOL community. Fans of Star Wars who aren’t fans of LEGO.

The Boba Fett set looks rather good. Nice to see they've given it a stand as well. I also love the box art here. Reminds me a lot of the Black Series products. -
Just brilliant . Love the little detail of the safe behind Krab's office.
-
The Tom Riddle figure looks excellent. Characters have appeared in booms before and later appeared in sets (like that Brute figure) so there's definitely nothing to suggest here that we won't get a Chamber of Secrets set.
-
Warner Brothers have brought the rights to the Cursed Child. That said I'd prefer if they stick too the films since there's so much to cover from both HP and FB.
-
Didn't LEGO reintroduce a part for the Ship-in-a-Bottle Ideas set that hadn't been seen for a number of years? I really like it. It's a neat tribute to a franchise that's nearing its 40th Anniversary. I could see people who aren't necessarily fans of LEGO wanting this set.

The designer of the LEGO Minifigure has passed away.

Very sad to hear this. It's incredible to think that one creation brought so much joy to millions of kids and adults across the world. One of my favourite sets: The Ewok Village is a great set, good design, nice homage to the movie, but it would mean nothing, absolutely nothing if it didn't have any of those minifigures. Rest in Peace -
Would love to see a Bad Batch Battlepack or possibly Shuttle after seeing that episode.

That looks brilliant. With the Clone Wars sets and the AT-AT it looks like we have a really solid wave coming up. -
It’s more than just a background design. The Sandcrawler (and the Jawas) get C-3PO and R2 to Luke. Which in turn then sets the rest of the movie into motion. Narratively it’s quite an important part of the film. The Star Wars line does see a lot of repetition. Though we’ve only seen 3 iterations of the Sandcrawler since 2005.
-
The line is about a group of Ninjas battling various evils. And the vehicle themed sets are still portraying that. So I’d argue that the newer sets are developing rather than going against the origin.
-
Same here. When you’re really into something you just develop a knack for knowing which characters have/haven’t been made or which buildings/vehicles have/haven’t been made. 7-8 years ago the Star Wars line used to do some neat posters with all the characters from that wave on them as a kind of checklist.
-
I thought that was just the title/caption of the teaser. I assume it’ll still be referred to officially as Stranger Things 4.

The Night Buzzard and AT-AT sounds exciting. AAT is on of the few droid ships I like. Hoping it’s bigger than the 2015 version. -
Is LEGO making way too many vehicles?
Tariq j replied to Lego David's topic in General LEGO Discussion
What exactly do you mean by “grown a lot”? Taking a look back at the 2012 Marvel sets. All of the sets of that wave either had a vehicle as the focal point of the set, or a vehicle was included as a side build: Wolverine’s Chopper Showdown - Helicopter Captain America’s Avengering Cycle - Motorcycle Loki’s Cosmic Cube - Jeep/truck Hulk’s Helicarrier Breakout - Jet Quinjet Aerial Battle - Quinjet Doc Ock Ambush - Buggy Is that any different to last year’s Endgame/Far From Home sets? Same if you compare the 2006 Batman sets to the ones released last year. They’ve always been very vehicle based. Definitely. And so vehicles sell better, so LEGO make more of them. -
I also haven’t been a huge fan of the smaller play sets but this one seems pretty good. I think it definitely looks better closed than it does open. And the fact that Obi Wan hasn’t been given the high ground is outrageous
-
With many new techniques and parts having come out since in 2005 I think there’s a definitely room for improvement. Plus if we can get the carriage (which was an awesome set) - why not this? For a Second Task set I could see a small pontoon being made. Maybe with a judging booth as well. They could also have a printed 1x1 circle tile to represent the Gillyweed. A Gringotts Vault Car could be a very interesting set. It could be a fully fledged ride like the Temple of Doom set or a slightly smaller scale like the original.
-
The $100 set sounds interesting. Chamber of Secrets would be ideal. I wouldn’t mind seeing WWW though.
-
There’s a rumour going around on a few sites that a Rebels Sequel Series is going to start streaming in November. If it’s true I’d be up for that given the cliffhanger at the end of Rebels.

Well an Owl has the appeal to people outside the usual LEGO fan base (Harry Potter fans) as well as ourselves. I can imagine lots of people having this as a desk/shelf ornament or the like. LEGO does make what is sold. The fact that Harry Potter has been one of the highest selling themes last year proved this. That looks very good . One of the few flaws from the Great Hall set was that it didn't have that addition.
-
Even though Privet Drive is based off CoS. It would be nice to see a letter dropping feature from the first film.
-
For Ron's face they could do a sleepy/eyes closed face similar to the ones they use for Han Solo when he's in Carbonite.
-
Sounds like we have a solid wave here. I'm happy with Privet drive set. It felt like it was missing in the first wave. Astronomy Tower sounds good, its a shame about the lack of Death Eaters but still sounds like a good line up. It's good to see Slughorn since I missed out on the Bricktober set last year. D.A. Sounds interesting. The room itself isn't too spectacular but there's a few good Patronus's they could do.
