  1. I'm curious what people do with their sets that make the stickers peel. I have 20 year old stickered bricks that still look OKish, a bit faded and scratched but not peeling.
  2. It's clear/transparent (I own the set). My 7yo nephew is totally in love with them, my clear stud bin not so much .
  3. Haha, I can relate though. Having to reassemble a set for the umpteenth time because of poor construction (every single ninjago/chima set!) is rather annoying. And I could probably start my own LEGO store specializing in claws and teeth with all the pieces I find in the vacuum cleaner.
  4. Generally speaking their prices are close to MSRP (for europe) and LEGO here is usually not sold any cheaper, at least not in toy-stores (most toy-store chains here are owned by the same company). Battlepack prices seem a euro or two higher than MRSP though, looking at the 2013 range.
  5. The Vulture Droid has a seat for the pilot droid, it's a nice play feature but I think I'll pass on this version. I like the shape overall but it just seems too bulky, the "old" version was pretty much spot on imo.

    NEW TIE

Looks really nice. I especially like the fenders around the cockpit, nice find. The top hatch looks a bit out of place though, now that you've replaced all the dark bley. Maybe try a brick version? Also interesting choice of local =P.
  7. I'm hoping the Slave 1 is more along the lines of Sydag's version, it's a WIP but it looks great already. Also those new blasters look like a tube with a handle, there's no detailing, not on the prelim pics I didn't see anyway. Perfect for losing studs though.
  8. Incredible, unmistakably Star Wars design, I love the OT/TOR blend! I wish it could fit minifigs though .
  9. Wow this is fantastic, totally in love with your model .
  10. Hmmm, well I dunno really. If I use an average 10 cent per brick value for the parts I already had, and adding the money I spent bricklinking the parts I needed (most of the dark red), it would amount to around 140 euros or so.
  11. But then how would you tell them apart? =P
  12. Doesn't he look identical to the other BARC trooper in the movie anyway? I don't get how people can identify him as Commander Neyo when they all look the same.
  13. Nice job, elegant solution to engine bit. I might steal that for my own version, I've built an overly complicated mechanism for it that's just too bulky.
  14. Isn't every set more expensive outside the US? =P
  15. As awesome as this is, it doesn't seem like it belongs in the Star Wars universe. The tech looks all wrong but it's impressive all the same, looks amazing!
  16. Vader's(the movie version)cape drapes over his shoulders though. The lego cape does look a bit too big but the single hole version looks too small on him.
  17. Err, what's wrong with the mold? It looks pretty accurate to me, I mean even the print looks like it could be a movie version.
  18. Yeah I would settle for some plain ep3 clones, always hated the old helmet mold with the hole for a visor, would love to be able to replace those.
  19. They can redo the mold so they have solid backs while they're at it .
  20. Yeah looks pretty epic! The cones have always bugged me though, I wish there was a cleaner way to get that shape.
  21. That ship reminds me of a paintbrush with a built in fountain pen or something =P.
  22. Meh legoboy productions isn't much better. Latest reviews have been filled with useless tidbits and misinformation (concerning lore, Jek's starfighter was especially appaling) making the reviews way too long. I'd take a written review over a video any day. Footage shot is alot better though to be fair.
  23. Which will include younglings hopefully! =p
  24. You're welcome, good luck with your own model, take pictures! I made it actually hehe, but thank you all the same!
