  1. Wow, that is absolutely beautiful! It looks like it came straight out of the movies, swap it out for a studio model and no one would notice the difference!
  2. I would prefer a reworked ISD over an acclamator, though I could settle for a new venator. Now that the TCW is finally over it'll most likely be all gray, making an uninspired design even more bland.
  3. I've attached the file to this post, I hope it works. Defender-class light corvette.lxf
  4. Finally got my hands on 75025 and it's awesome minifigs so I thought I'd upload some comparison pics, enjoy. I might steal that dish when I scrap the official set. Very similar in shape and size. Here the differences are the most obvious, the official version looks very flat by comparison. A bit of sibling rivalry, here 75025 is calling her sister fat. Not part of the comparison set but I wanted to show it off anyway =P, the updated bridge section.
  5. The goal is to run Jango over ofcourse! And so TLG doesn't have to make yet another incarnation of Slave 1 =P. Personally I like that they include "random" figures. Especially when they're in affordable sets like the A-wing and such. Most of the time they're not completely out of context anyway, as pointed out by other people earlier in this thread.
  6. Changing the color and adding a wedge does not an original moc make. If it's merely inspired by mao16 it's curious why you would include the flaws.
  7. I've been editing it from time to time, adding another seat on the bridge for example, and reuploading the file. Maybe that's why it doesn't work now and then.
  8. Just noticed I forgot to build the covers for the bottom sides after checking if the link worked, so the model has been slightly updated. [Edit] Woop, also finally figured out how to fix the illegal (which LDD didn't seem to think it was) connection I used inside the engines! Which had been bugging me for ages haha. Also if you're building it replace the yellow 1x4 tiles with the 1x4 light bley stud plates.
  9. Thanks for the kind words! I finished building a (slightly updated) digital model that you can download, here , for the people interested. There are some issues with the digital model though, some missing slopes (I'll update that when TLG updates the parts list) next to the reactor and the table is supposed to be dejarik game. There are also some connections LDD doesn't seem to like, so I've just included those parts without attaching them to the main model. It should be fairly obvious where to connect them in the real model though. The top part just sits on the real model without any stud connections, so that's separate as well. Anyway, enjoy! I forgot to mention, normal red means use whatever color you want!
  10. The cannons are flickfires in disguise =P. What does the technic bit do (the beams), Is that to lift the ship safely or something?
  11. Looks pretty cool yea, though none of the AT-ST's will fit under there sadly.
  12. I've started to recreate it in LDD but it's proving to be a pain, so no promises!
  13. Sweet, can't wait to see what you come up with! Love that ship.
  14. The folder isn't public yet so we can't actually enjoy the pictures =P.
  15. Yeah it is too long, the wedge shape is supposed to be more angular but I couldn't create that with the current selection of wedge plates. It's supposed to be about as long as it is now without the nose. I could try a solid wing version but I like my LEGO creations to look like LEGO, studs and all! =P.
  16. Thank you! I've attached uploaded the model made in LDD here, you should be able to make instructions and a parts list if you select "Generate HTML building guide" in LDD. Enjoy!
  17. I hate to break it to you, but it's never gonna happen. The difference in retail prices between the US and everywhere else is not something that's exclusive to LEGO unfortunately.
  18. Hey peeps, I finally got my hands on the new Obi-Wan so I thought it was time to show off my Delta-7 MOC! I bought the mini for the droid but the plaque sure came in handy! Landing gear deployed. Grrr flying is for droids! Obi-Wan climbing in to have a look at Anakin's GPS location. A closer look at the controls and Obi-Wan's uncomfortable looking seat. Ambushed by destroyer droids! There's some more pictures of the Delta-7 located on my Flickr if you're interested. I hope you enjoyed, thanks for looking! -khatmorg [Edit] I've recreated the model in LDD from which you can generate instructions, download it Here.
  19. Thanks for the positive feedback guys! I just poked some extra holes in the cape as well ,
  20. Hello, I thought I'd share my creation, the Defender-class light corvette, with you guys! I had tried my hand at replicating the corvette in LEGO before news leaked of the official set and subsequently stopped improving my own design, hoping the TLG version would be as awesome as the Fury had been. Alas when the pictures finally leaked last week, I couldn't help but be disappointed. So I present to you now my own (finished) design; My favorite shot. The crew and view of the ramp and landing gear. It's a bit impractical but I really wanted to include a ramp for my figs, so the corvette sits a bit higher than I'd like. The landing gear itself also folds up neatly (forgot to take a picture of that). The pilot's seat can rotate so he can actually get out and take a nap when I'm not looking. The medical beds can slide out so the injured can be transported safely, or they would anyway if those damn troopers would stop watching TV and let them pass. A picture of the "airlock" hatch open. The floor slides out revealing sweet sweet death or maybe a space station airlock if they're lucky. The engines where the hardest for me to translate into LEGO, I'm quite happy with the final result. Maybe some trans blue dishes though. My creation's approximate dimensions are; 41 studs long (not counting laser cannon tips), 34 studs wide and 13 studs high (with landing gear folded up). It consists of 1222 (or 1226 once they update the parts list) parts, not including minifigs and weapons. You can download the "instructions" here. I've used normal red as a junk color so those bricks can be any color. Also if you're building it replace the yellow 1x4 tiles with the 1x4 light bley stud plates. Thanks for taking an interest, khatmorg, on Flickr
