  1. I love the new Winter Toy Shop snowman, he's perfectly to scale, and that little scarf looks great.

    Fireworks

I love them! The rocket's are great, but take away from my Lego spending money. Firecrackers are also very enjoyable, and the best part is, they're super, super loud!
  3. Crap, I meant to post a scan of that comic too! And yes, the Brickmaster issue had the Ben 10 ad. And about the city ad, I thought it would be in the normal magazine just like the Ben 10 ad. It didn't have the Brickmaster exclusive sign on it. Yeah, I said Kranxx. I think the little Sharpie marker on the ground that Squiddie used is kinda cute. In a weird, Lego sorta sense.
  4. I love that one too, how Squiddie Kranxx has thrown his plate at the glass! The only problem is that I would hate to wreck my Brickmaster magazine to get the poster out.
  5. I know, I was hoping to see some pics of the Octan Tanker and Airport too.
  6. Yeah, the greatly loved first two years of it. Besides, I don't think there's really enough support for a Bionicle themed month. Star Wars would be popular, but I would really love a Space Police or Atlantis themed month.
  7. Same here, I got another Brickmaster magazine a couple months ago because it was summer. Oh well, it's nice to get two free Brickmaster issues in a year. If I were you, I would still order the free club magazine, it has some cool one page posters, and then Lego can also send you the free Brickmasters. Mind if I do the same? Who knows, you could start a Droid Signature trend. Say, I'll even add a pic of some droids cheering under it.
  8. Nope, the only thing that I took a photo of that's exclusive to Brickmaster is the Tor Story foldout. Everything else should be in the regular Club magazine. (The only reason I got a Brickmaster is actually because my birthday is in December. ) True, then they would release the sets right after Christmas like they did last year to the new 2009 sets. But don't you think that's just a bit early to put the site up, seeing as kids won't be able to get the sets for Christmas?
  9. Even better, that's one less step.
  10. All of these sets. Plus, here's the discussion topic, you'll find tons more photos in there. As I was flipping through the magazine, I was hoping that Lego put some Space Police 2010 tidbits in there, especially when I got to a SP comic, but there was nothing. Yeah, I know. I can scan the whole comic and the SPIII comic too if you want, I can just put it up on Brickshelf.
  11. I would buy a couple of these, and remove the visor, then cut the part off that's under the chin.
  12. Thers already been a couple threads on this, but they're buried, so all you have to do is click on that button that says "options". (It's under the "add reply" button at the top of the page.) A list will drop down. Under "Display Modes" click "standard".
  13. Me too. I can't wait until the Atlantis sets are released, and the Star Wars sets looks very nice so far. I'm really liking the band bus and I think I might just make one myself. I'm getting a couple ideas of how to use that wonderful new windshield piece that's on the new firetruck. I found it funny that the studs on the bricks in the Toy Story ad don't have "LEGO" printed on them.
  14. I just received my new Brickmaster magazine and it's loaded with pics of 2010 sets! A nice shot of the new ARC-170: And of the new Tri-Droid Fighter: Plus, the Freeco Speeder and the new fig that comes with it!!!!!! Here's an ad for Toy Story: And one for Lego Universe: And here's another for Rockband, also the instructions to build the Band Van: The new Fire-Station! And the last ad on the back, for Atlantis: Available November 24th! Yes!!!!! All the sets shown in the magazine are probably finale, seeing as they did put it in a magazine that just shipped all over the US.

    Henchman

Simply fantastic! I just saw this on Brickshelf and was wondering who built it. You might want to make that black head clear, and it looks a bit more like a mining mech to me. But it fits the Atlantis theme perfectly and you made a great use of those Bionicle pieces to make the body. I would love to see more Atlantis creations, especially since it looks like a great theme.
  16. I'm sorry to hear about your original house being destroyed, little sisters never get in trouble for anything. Anyways, it looks like its coming along great, and I love that sliding glass door technique, mind if I use it?
  17. It's probably just the weak acid on your fingers that have slowly worn it off, and the Lego color gold is easier to wear off than all the normal colors.
  18. I'm kinda mad about this. I sure hope the games are released next year in the US, cause I just gotta get that Monster 4 game. I was ok with some of the Advent calenders not being available in the States, but if we don't get these games, that's too far.
  19. I've only had one quality problem, it was with my Pirate Survival set. The black 2x2 tile that goes on top of the box was so tight, it just popped off and wouldn't stay on.
  20. I love that Obi Wan decal, its great for any generic jedi, just what I needed.
  21. Last year, in the US, the new 2009 sets were released just a day or two after Christmas, so I expect it will be the same with these sets too.
  22. The Superchief looks much smoother and better designed. BTW, I am just voting on the Lego trains, I have absolutely no knowledge of trains in reality, so I don't know which train is really better, just which one looks nicer in Lego form.
  23. It doesn't look like it would damage bricks too badly, but I don't think its a good idea to wedge another piece of plastic in between two bricks and then twist to get them apart. That's why I like the brick separator, it grips the studs, and uses those to pull it off.
  24. Then maybe we should just change the software! I too, would love to see more statistics, but not if it means a staff member would need to work their butt off making it.
  25. I actually wasn't sure of whether to buy one or not, so I made this thread a while ago, asking people their opinion on it. I finally went to a Lego store and decided to buy one, as there were buckets of 'em all over the place. I got home and tried it out, and I instantly knew I should've gotten a couple more. It's the best thing to ever happen to my Lego, and my fingernails. I don't know how I ever got on without it. I highly recommend to anyone who doesn't own one that they get one ASAP.
