I told Commander Flash that I would make some Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) MOCs, so here's one of 'em. (hint, hint.) The Sith Interceptor: Manufacturer: The Star Forge Armament: Two laser cannons Era: Old Republic era First off, I must say, that the cockpit was inspired by Saber Scorpion's Sith Interceptor. Secondly, you might ask why it's a green screen background. That's because I wanted to put in cool backgrounds, I just didn't have the patience. Thirdly, you might ask why one of the pictures has a black stand and the rest have a green one. This is because half way through taking the pictures, I thought that the black stand looked ugly on the green background, so I replaced it. Finally, here we go. A corner shot: A profile-type shot: The back. I will admit that the engine isn't perfect, but it's hard to make with Lego, and I haven't seen anybody else who's made this get the engine right, so meh. I tried to make the cannon come out of the side of the tip of the wing like on the real thing. Here it is straight on. See how well the green stand blends in? Here's the underside. I forgot to take a shot of the top, so I'll have to do that when I get back from Florida in a two weeks. ( I leave tomorrow) Well, that's it. Comments and constructive criticism always welcome. Oops! Almost forgot! The gallery is chock-full of more pictures.

I can never win with you guys. Might I ask why you bought Mega Bloks?
-
I see what you are saying. But still, I view Mega Bloks as a cheap rip-off. I think all clone brands give Lego a bad name as some people won't know how good Lego is because they go for the cheaper sets and buy clone brands instead. Believe me, Mega Bloks is cheap and crappy, I own some of them from a long time ago. Lego was the original, and for now, it's the best.
-
Wait. Why'd you say "we like best"? I dislike all the clone brands. I like Lego the best, and nothing else. Plus according to you, if we all acted like grown-ups, then we would like M*g* Bl*ks? Wouldn't you be mad if you invented something great, then I waited until the patent for it expired, and made the same thing, but of cheaper quality, and made money from your idea? It's what M*g* Bl*ks did.
-
You kidding? Of course they will! Those M*g* Bl*ks sets had like 5 pieces each. It was pathetic and we know Lego will come through for us, because Lego has and will always be the best plastic brick out there.

I think so. Look on top of the box, it looks like one of the minifigs is holding a trident. The fig looks like a blue that sorta blends in with the background. Again though, these would have to be super-duper-fantastically-awesome minifigs to make me buy the sets. EDIT: If you look closely at the Atlantian, (the one with the trident) it looks like there's a fin on his back. Thanks for the close-up Striker.
-
Righto. I can't believe I'm about to do this, but, here's the link to the set on M*g* Bl*ks.
-
I know, that's why I asked him why the Atlantis set looked shopped to him. Anyways, as already mentioned, I don't find much appeal so far to this line. The minifigs can save it, but they would have to be absolutely amazing figs, and the rest of the sets would have to be good for me to buy it. If this is how the rest of the line is, then TLC lost a potential buyer. Besides, my wallet is gonna be hurting enough after seeing the 2010 lineup for Star Wars.
-
I was just asking you an honest question, How does the set look shopped? As for my avatar, you can take that up with Hound Knight.
-
First you say it is shooped, then you say it's really shopped. So which is it? But really, how does it look shopped? It looks perfectly genuine to me. einsteinonthebeach confirms they are real, and hopefully the figs will be awesome. I'm confused, is 8061 Titan Fish, or Squid Gate?
-
Would somebody be kind enough to translate this to English? Please? On another note, the set names sound like the Aqua Raider sets. EDIT: Nevermind, I just saw that the set names in English are after the first names. Could somebody still translate 8061?
-
You have three gunships! Can I have one? (I would prefer the ARC gunship) Very nice creation, it looks accurate, and detailed. The clone pilots also look exactly like the pilot in the reference pic. The only thing I would say is wrong is that the actual gunship is a lighter blue, but it doesn't matter. Dark Blue looks a whole lot cooler.
-
I'm not surprised. This was already mentioned a while ago, and like I said then, Lego can't go very long without releasing another underwater them. Personally, I like the underwater themes, and Powerminers is fine, but this looks like an Aquaminers type theme, not Atlantis.
-
Actually, the Pirates forum has this option too.
-
Now I may not be a Pirate fanatic, (I'm more of a Star Wars guy), but I do have a couple of the new sets. The 2009 Pirates have some great minifigs and new pieces, but that's not enough to sell the whole line to me. The 1989 sets were original and are great builds. Therefore my vote goes to '89.

Very nice, I like the fact that the troopers are standing up, and that it is properly scaled down to a minifig. The legs are very nice, but I think the front part (the part with the gun on it) is a little to far forward.

How to take pictures of flying MOC's ?
Spyder replied to ProducePrincess's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Well it depends, you can either hang it with fishing line, or if you have Photoshop, you can make a green stand with Lego and edit out all the green in the picture later. Or you could even put it in front of a green screen and in Photoshop replace the background with another one. -
So it is in fact a snow trooper battle pack. Well, in that case, I'll just get one of the Echo Base sets.
-
I would so love if TLG was to make a Luke's landspeeder set with Tuskens where they attack him and Obi-Wan comes and saves him. Oh, that would be wonderful!

Review: 7754 Home One™ Mon Calamari Starcruiser™
Spyder replied to valentin's topic in LEGO Star Wars
To me this set is average, but almost below average. Sure, there's a whole bunch of new figs and a couple play features, but that's about it. Of course, I have to buy this set for the figs, because the individual figs prices on bricklink is way up there. It's extremely cheaper to just get the entire set. Even though I don't really like the set, you still did a great job on the review. -
How dare you insult us! We are not prisoners, we are just pretending to be so that we can infiltrate the base and take it over. We are warriors, not weak-minded foolish prisoners of the Republic, and don't you be forgetting that. Do you not think that we carry back-up weapons in our cloaks and wraps? We are our own nation, we are everywhere, and yet nowhere at all. We are ready to strike at any moment. Your system is so corrupt that we have infiltrated every level of it. We are all powerful, and we will destroy you, and everyone who defies us. We are the Tusken Raiders! OK, I'm done with my little rant, but seriously, Tuskens do rock, and we are more powerful than you know. Fear us, and we will fear you. No, that's not right. Fear us, or we will destroy the universe. Oh crap, that means we all die. That can't be right. Here we go: Fear the Tuskens, and you may reap great rewards for your loyalty. And your lucky numbers are 5, 87, 282, and 76.
-
Wow, very nice and big. I think somebody likes clone troopers. You have alot of those little suckers. Three V-19's, I'm impressed. Can't wait till the base is finished. BTW: Are those a couple of Tuskens I spy down by the LAAT/i?

Coming Soon to BrickMaker Customs
Spyder replied to tin7_creations's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Those are awesome, I really want that minotaur. QUESTION: Any specific prices yet? -
Much better than your original. Keep up the good work, I look forward to the next part.
-
Holy crap, that's amazing! It's scale is just a tad off, but that's it's only flaw. The rest is just perfect. The legs are great, and the feet are the best I've seen on an AT-RT.
