Review (Picture and Video) 8093 Plo Koon's Starfighter
Spyder replied to ReZourceman's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Wait, is that a new shade of blue? If it is, I'm buying two of this set! Anyways, thanks for the great review. -
Who are you in The Prince of Persia? THE WINNERS!
Spyder replied to Shadows's topic in LEGO Licensed
My vote goes to Sandy. Just a question, did I count for it, since I fixed my avatar before the deadline, or did I have to make a post saying that my avatar was now persianified? -
Great work Etzel. I really like all the detail you've put into all the floors, especially that trophy in the corner. The blaze looks realistic (as realistic as little plastic flames can get ) Another thing I noticed is that chip at the corner of the building in the first pic. Just marvelous! I also love those little statues, that one that's tipped over looks nice. Are those really all fezes you used, or just burgundy cylinders? (My guess is cylinders, the tire widens out like that cause it goes down around the head.)

Having a little problem here. Every time I go to my profile, remove the old avatar, load my new one on there, and then go to my user-page, it shows a warped picture of my old avatar. Probably just a stupid mistake I'm making, but a little guidance would be much appreciated.

First game was spectacular, so I'm psyched for this game, hopefully it will be even better! I'm really hoping Two-face will be in it, as he's not in the first one, and maybe even have more of those riddles again. Those things were so much fun to solve!

Ok, so now that I've seen it, I must agree that it's not a must have, but still, I'll look into it, hopefully ending with a purchase. I'd love to display it.

If this is true (which I most certainly hope it is) I'll definitely be buying it, as I now have more money than before to put towards Lego.

This is perfect! Now I can create a whole army with this torso, thank you! (I've always wanted to, but I only have one Bane and the prices have skyrocketed.)
-
I want one so badly (actually a few) but not bad enough to pay over $10 for it. Hope you not just teasing us with that bag CopMike, I really, really wouldn't mind a Toys R Us promotion.
-
Agreed. Other than that your decals really do look superb.

Congratulations to all the new Moderators

I congratulate you for your hard work and care of Eurobricks. Without people like you, this site would be pretty hectic. (Or at least not as fun. ) -
As already said, that's as accurate as you can get without it not looking like Lego. Nice work.

Make sure you click the image button, not the code button. The image should appear in the post.

How to crop, sharpen and resize images online
Spyder replied to Legostein's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Great tutorial, I never knew about that site, wish I had. Right now I use IrfanView, but I'd like to test this site out. -
I believe you've said you now have Brickshelf? Well, here's a tutorial on how to deeplink pictures, it's quite simple.
-
Agreed. There's something about that van that just makes it great. I don't know, but it sure did catch my eye. I think maybe I should build some 4-wide vehicles.
-
Yes, please deeplink, I'm sure it will be just as good as your other ones.

REVIEW: Prince of Persia 7571 Fight for the Dagger
Spyder replied to Svelte's topic in LEGO Licensed
Just got this set on sale, and I have to say, I love it. It has great architecture, and comes with a massive amount of accessories. I especially love all the food! Although the building is a bit small, once you add the figs and camel, i looks superb, and busy, but not too much so, like a market should. When I first read the review, I was put down by the price, but seeing as its a new theme with a ton of new molds (and I got it on sale!!!! ) I think the price is perfect. -
Nice decal, she was sooooo annoying in the books. (That stupid pen she had. ) Just an idea, instead of posting a new thread every time you make a different decal, just update one thread with new decals. I'm sure if you ask nicely, the mods would even combine all your threads into one.

Well, one of two things could happen, kind of like Einstein's theories for the atom bomb. 1. It could work 2. It could cause a chain reaction and kill everything alive. Personally, I'd take #1, but as already mentioned, they'd have to run it continuously, and we don't have that kind of technology yet... ...as far as we know. I volunteer myself to get bitten!

Nooooooo! Have we learned nothing from Spider-man 2?

Thanks, and I put it in the Town forum because it was at least a kinda modern ship, and it definitely doesn't go in the History forum.

Review: LEGO Toy Story 3~7596 Trash Compactor Escape
Spyder replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
Thanks for the nice review. Although the price/parts ratio is terrible, the parts provided are nice and large, plus some in dark green, making this set a must buy for me.
