Nice build, the landscape looks great, my favorite part of this build are the palm trees. I also like the posing of the minifigs, especially of the ones who got shot by the archers.
-
Thanks a lot kabel! Thanks a lot! I always try to include as many details as possible. Thank you! I have to admit that your "Thenwell Castle" creation inspired me to use those grill bricks.
-
Nice build the ground textures work well with the snowy leafs. Your minifigs are also nice, especially the self-made cloacks.

Very nice little scene! But I really wonder where this rocks are from? I have never seen them before... -

Thanks a lot guys. I should certainly read more carefully in the future. -
This looks pretty good! I really like the rockwork and the positioning of the minifigs is also very well done - you can certainly hear the wind howling...

This must be one of my favorite builds from you! Everything in this build is top-notch, I really love the architectur, especially the corners are well done. But what I really like ,and I have mentioned that some other time, it that you builds always have quite a detailed interior.

Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Wat Tambor replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
Welcome to the Guilds of Historica, I can't wait to see the captains crew. - - - Question: I have entered my archery phase 3 for the HoM challenge. Do I also have to build a battle scene, because I have seen some in the thread. -
You are certainly a very fast builder and a good one too. Again, a very nice build to continue the story of Ettu. The hall is well done and feels quite cozy, I really like that. The building technique of the fireplace is also very creative. May I ask you where the fur on the ground is from? It looks superb and fits great for Mitgardian places like a lord's hall.

Thanks for all the encouraging and warm words! Feel free to do so! I think there are different types of orcs. Gideon has used them in his Main Gate build and there they seem not that evil.
-
Hehe, nice story! I really like your character and it is a pleasure to see and read how Ettu's story progresses. The tree tree technique you have used in the last build is also quite nice.

I have finally finished my AoM phase 3 archery. -
Here is my build for the 3rd phase of the archery: Do I also have to do a battle scene to take part in this "contest"?

Archery Phase 3 - Thread -
Hey guys, here is my third and final build for the AoM Archery-category. Originally I inteded to build something like a barrack but it did not turn out that well... And so I decided to combine a bit of everything I have build in the last two phases. John Greencloack and his fellow rangers have destoryed a small orc fortress in the woods the night before. After they have burned down their wooden fortification they cut off the chieftains head to use it as a practice target. Age of Mitgardia - Archery 3rd Phase - by Wat-Tambor on flickr C&C welcome! As written on flickr, this looks quite nice and somehow it reminds me of the MOCs I built as a child, when most of my collection based on regular basics. My favorite part of the castle is the "lounge" on top of the tower.

Great build! I really like the idea of a SNOT-technique wall and the dark-tan segments add a nice battered look to the whole construction. The war elephant is also a great idea, clever use of the red LEGO TECHNIC parts.
-
Well, that's a nice first GoH build from you. The wall technique is fabulous, I'll have to try it myself some day.
-
Thanks Gideon! The sand green tiles are meant to be some kind of stone the wall is filled with, but now I think I should have used grey tiles, because it looks a bit strange. Thanks kabel! Thanks a lot! Thanks Gunman! I always try to include some small details in my builds because they add a lively touch to the MOC. Thank you very much Etzel! Thanks Lord Vladivus! Thanks! Can't wait to see your finished build. Thanks Rolli! I'll give my best not to disappiont you. Thanks, I'm glad you like them! Thanks, I will keep that in mind for my future builds!

Very nice build, my favorite part has to be the landscaping. The bushes are well done, maybe you could create a small tutorial how to do them? The ground textures are also nice to look at, the mix between sand-green and different kinds of brown bricks looks very organic.
-
Nice minifig presentation! My favorite one is Logan Silverman, the posing is perfectly done and the bases are also quite nice.

Archery Phase 2 - Thread -
Hey guys, here is my second MOC for the AoM free-build-challenge. For me it was quite hard to build something proper for the 2nd phase of the archery challenge, because I wanted to save my best ideas for the final 3rd phase. Then I came up with a city wall (maybe Valholl ?) and some practicing targets... Age of Mitgardia - Archery 2nd Phase by Wat-Tambor on flickr C&C welcome! Thanks for watching!
