  1. For those who buy everything on BL, I guess it costs more than 450€. ;) My estimate is rather close to 600€.
  2. Actually, there is no room for interpretation here. The ship is what it is. You just have to look at the pics to know the answer. The red line is the structure. The green line represent the distance between the top/bottom and the red middle line. On the real ship, the 2 green lines do have a very similar lenght. => This implies that the distances top/structure and bottom/structure are similar => And this implies that the angles on the top and the bottom are very similar too. In that matter, you can also see that 10221 is aboslutely inaccurate.
  3. The bottom is not that flat : http://img412.imageshack.us/img412/7614/executorvp5.jpg And the top is not as angled as it is on 10221. Obvious onclusion : the very angled top of 10221 compensate the flat bottom, hence a poor shape.
  4. But what are you going to say when Lego will produce a PFS compressor with switch ?
  5. Great work ! You captured the shape of the ship very very well. I'm not a big fan of the SNOT wings, though. Do you plan to share more photos to see how it is built ? The ARC is on my todo list too. Many times I thought how I could build it. At the moment, I don't have the solution yet, given that I want to includ mechanism for the wings. I will certainly use your work when I do my own ARC.
  6. My model has fewer pieces than 10221. ;) Besides, 10221 is way too strong and stable, hence poor finitions. I mean that the designer could have made a less strong model (but still strong enough) to achieve much better shapes and details. :)
  7. Maybe I can PM you. Let's see... edit : I can't. Well, wait a few days to have the right post number, and then we will be able to discuss by PM... :) edit : e-mail me with the adress at the bottom of that page ("Nous contacter") : http://www.setechnic.com/
  8. It seems it will be released on May 1st.
  9. Splat, I like the way you made your list. So, I do the same. Hope you don't mind if I use your images. Anio's Flickr Gallery Anio's Brickshelf Gallery Anio's YouTube Channel Anio's Collection Anio's Eurobricks profile TechLUG and TechLUG Forum, the LUG I founded.
  10. @ KDM : well, ok. Sorry for asking for something you already explained. Still, I think it is... curious !
  11. For those who have the 10030, I guess it costs about 200€/250€.
  12. @ the Staff : it could be could if a mod or admin could create a thread with the definition of ALL the tags (so, not only the SW tags). Because there are A LOT of tags, and for most of them, we do not know what they mean.
  13. Thank you. :-)
  14. The % may vary a lot if you consider the set or the parts. For example, a big UCS may be equivalent to many battle packs. So, you should reword the question to make it more specific. ;)
  15. Oh, he forgets one thing : he won the contest ! ;)
  16. Oh, you get me wrong. I totally agree with you. But still, this is going to be a controversial topic.
  17. Controversial topic spotted ! :p
  18. Bravo Eric ! It is indeed a great honor to be on THE Lego website. Regarding the photos, I agree. It's a real pain to make good and clear photos. Especially when we do not have a great photo equipment. :/
  19. I'm glad to see that the model is much better than what I expected with the first pics. Thanks for the pics. :)
  20. Too bad. :(
  21. Photoshop is my best friend to do my UCS stickers. :) Good news. :) If you have any question, you can ask me here in the thread. Or PM me if you prefer. :)
  22. I could have put some of the (dark) orange areas. But I did not want to do that. Indeed, it would have look very odd on a Lego model. By the way, the FlickR gallery :
  23. I have the same problem on my model. Yet, I did not play much with my model... :/
  24. It is good to hear that this year the sets are cheaper. :)
