  1. Good to see you here. It reminds me the good old vibes of 2007 - 2012. The golden age of the Lego community.
  2. There are weeks of work here. There is clearly a whole team of people behind a review like this. For example, I could hear at least 2 different voices.
  3. I don't anymore ! They essentially told me I was being too critical with my reviews. Nice try, and nice troll though.
  4. Could'nt agree more. It is like an electrical device where cables use different colors. The colors give information on the working of a system and its design.
  5. I used to like color vomit. Now I can say that I love it. The CaDa models I built recently are full black. It was such a pain in the a**. Terrible, terrible building experience.
  6. I don't think the panels are new. They seem to be the same as those on the McLaren P1 42172. As for the competitors, I buildt some CaDa sets recently. Gotta be honnest : the building experience it offers is terrible and the mechanic optimisation is very poor. The rear lights use bright red regular slope and inverted slopes 2x1.
  7. We don't know. But the thing is that most people here don''t care.
  8. I totally see your point, and I agree with you when you say that a picture and a 3D model are not the same sport. A bit like video games from the 80's and after 2010. But the thing is that we are at the very early stages of AI. Models properly designed in 3D by an AI are bound to happen. The question is rather how long it will take to get there. 5 or 20 years ?
  9. That is interesting. I got that IA render : It is impossible to build it because of curved non-existing parts, but the render is impressive nonetheless (note the thickness of the stick to make the Renault logo !). Using an AI tool might also be interesting to get some ideas on how to design some details. There is no doubt that, some day, IA will be able to generate full model with existing Lego parts and optimised building process. And this time might come earlier than we think.
  10. Totally. I quickly scrolled down, and at first glance I thought it was an image from a Racer set from 2000's. Not sure it is a good thing though.
  11. We don't have enough cars in the Technic lines so that they redo sets that were available like 5 years ago (42111). Unbelievable.
  12. And I am sure I can find on the Internet a picture of a green Ferrari, or a red Mercedes. It still looks wrong.
  13. Congrats ! @grohl Who was the first Technic Design Master ? What is exactly required to get the Design Master rank ?
  14. I think the model has a linkage mechanism to open the DRS.
  15. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=6609
  16. The Polo version as you call it remained as a one shot project and was never turned into a real instruction.
  17. I don't offer 3D files for my models, sorry.
  18. I would say 8460. Some models of 1996 and 1997 are good too. But if you observe closely, you will see that it is partially due to the emergence of studless beams.
  19. When it comes to analysing the sets, this guy clearly doesn't know what he is talking about.
