  1. Vaders cape was probably put on like that for display as it gives a more dramatic pose, as it causes the cape to look like it's being blown.
  2. http://www.flickr.com/photos/42956921@N08/
  3. you mean the round black sections? what about them?
  4. theres an entire thread on the at-at somewhere on here
  5. Well the final pic with the Pilot and Gunner.
  6. Ok heres the result of 4 hrs labour! - dunno if i ever posted a pic of it like this. and 2 more pics for scale
  7. Well after 3 hours of pain and extreme thinking i have managed to get the sides to slope more so it now looks right although, the wings seem a little big still. Anyway i will post a picture of the revised shuttle later on. the wings are attached using '2x2 plate with hole', yeah to get the wings to fold i would have to widen the gap where they hinge to accomodate a gear, which would take away from the nice looking sides (like the imperial shuttle looks) i thin its fine without though after all it's a display peice for shows.
  8. yeah i know the sides should slope a bit more but i could not find a way to achieve a strong way of holding the wing hinge, maybe i will have a rework at a later stage.
  9. cheers for the links, it all makes sense now, @ anio what about C############K
  10. which part of the cockpit is round? as for being big and blocky for some reason the camera makes it look like that but in the felsh/plastic it looks smaller
  11. Ha ha! no sorry it can be built from the pictures easy enough though.
  12. thanks for all the praise!! i have ordered the pilot and gunner so 1 last pic with them and it's onto the next project which, will not be totally my design and i don't think i will be doing a build thread as there is one already.
  13. so for forward reverse and steering i just need 1 reciever? cool i can then add recievrs/controllers as and when required.
  14. Hi all, I need some help regarding Power functions (Correct me where i'm wrong) As far as i can tell, you need a controller, battery box, motor and reciever. so i presume you connect the reciever to the battery box and the motor to the reciever? so if i want to add more than 1 motor per reciever i just plug it in to the same reciever? also if i want to add more functions i need more recievers/controllers? so say i want to use two functions (forward reverse, left right) controlled seperately i would need battery box x 1 reciever x 2 controller x 1 + motors as required now can 1 controller only operate 2 functions or 4? how much torque do the medium motors produce?
  15. Cherry coke actually, it's the drink of the Sith! nah i'm having a break for now and taking it easy building a moc at the same time as someone else.
  16. looking at pictures i have found some have the cockpit the way i have it and others have it steeper, there is no cannon source for the correct way at the moment, so i will click the nose down 1 and see what it looks like.
  17. nope the wings are too heavy to lock yeah summats off, maybe the wings are too big? i know the angle of the sides should be a little steeper but i can't do anything about that.
  18. Ok rats fans (uk joke) heres a few pics of the completed moc minus a few bits i need to tidy up as and when i get the parts. A show down! and one for scale there a few more pics at my Flikr.
  19. Finished! Pictures to follow later!
  20. Thanks Christopher, i'm sure you put more effort into your minis as you have to build small which is far harder than building big.
  21. i can do the ILC and NU together the lambda is in storage, i don't have a lot of room to display them, where i take the pictures is the only space i have!
  22. PICS PICS PICS PICS PICS!!!
  23. well thats wrong. the imperial landing craft is 38m long when i put my ILC next to the Lambda shuttle it is almost twice as long as it. anyway ILC 76 studs long 38m 2 studs per M shud be 7 studs longer but would look wrong IMO NU 55 studs 24.34m 2.2studs per M LS 45ish studs long 20m 2.2studs per M
  24. I wish i new the correct size for it as it is nearly as big as the Sentinel! ah... it would appear that Revell have it as: Republic Attack Shuttle™ Original details: Nu-class shuttle Cygnus Spaceworks Speed: __G Length: 24,34 m so it is bigger than the Lambda but not as big as the Sentinel by 14m, maybe my sentinel is too small??
