  2. there is only a bridge in the SSD Lego confirmed that one.
  3. so what models did you like and what do youo think could be done to improve the experience fopr next year?
  4. Hi, thanks for the interest, no UCS sets where harmed in the making of the AT-AT as all parts where from Bricklink. Strangley enough i was talking to the Lego Design team the other day but alas an At-AT of this size would be around $2000, they did say that it is more detailed and a little larger than the miniland At-AT's! As for the framing that was the easy part, if you look back in this thread you will see pictures of the frame.
  5. LOL 6 have been seen together though!
  6. it's not ready for release yet still in production.
  7. Great! did you say hello though!
  8. Maybe the other UCS set this year will be better but back to the SSD, all i was told is that it is the bridge scene, it has less parts than the falcon but more than the Imperial Shuttle.
  9. westminster abbey is not my MOC but i did put 1 piece in place lol!

  11. Every Royal wedding needs Imperial guards! And a size comparison of my AT=AT and Lego's 4483
  12. Well it makes obvious sense to have the minifigs if the city section lifts off to reveal the bridge scene from EPIV. Obviously i cannot CONFIRM or deny this as i did not hear this from a Lego employee.
  13. You can look at his build thread for it on setechnic.com
  14. yep saw it at the AGM very nice it is too!
  15. Well i have been using M.E.K. smells like plastic kit cement, but bonds instantly and is damm hard to break the bricks apart, but you must make sure that it is wet when you join the bricks otherwise it will not work.
  16. Just to let you lot know if you don't check the events pages, i will be displaying my UCS MOC's at the AFOLCON at the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester, England from April 28th- 2nd May. I f you do go say hello!
  17. cheers guys, i have applied a thin coat to the tubes and on the studs and will see how strong a bond i have in 12 hours. I don't have to glue the MOC but it will save on assembly time and the blood sweat and tears evrytime i try to assemble it!
  18. nah i won't regret it i will never need the parts again and the model is for display use. i'm just struggling to get the MEK to bond well.
  19. Yeah yeah i know evil word but... i would like to permanently weld some parts of my models. i have bought some M.E.K. solvent and would like some advice on the best way to apply to the bricks/plates and how long it takes to be permanent etc...
  20. My star wars models.
  21. i will now be there all 5 days!!
  22. the array on the bridge is the tractor beam projector is it not?
  23. I think you will agree that this version 2 of the front sides is near perfect and it is also stable compared to the previous version. Anyway let me know your thoughts.
  24. oh looking at the SM the sides are sloped more than my lego version.
