Thanks, Warhead and TJ78. Glad you like it! :D Warhead's right, it's not a Hero Factory MOC, though it does use a few HF parts. Sadly, I don't remember how the head was built, but if I'm able to reverse-engineer it from my own photos, then sure, I'll post a how-to! Thanks Nocturn. :)

A powerful AI enforcer created after the fall of Toa Oxell at the hands of his at-the-time psychotic partner Toa Ramnux. Blindvolt wants to prove he's more than a machine. His first emotionless action once put online was to put Ramnux out of his misery, which (now that he has developed a personality) is a decision that Blindvolt has come to completely regret. His name stems from the fact that justice is blind- and from his electric weaponry as well- though this title is merely poetic and Blindvolt himself is far from sightless. ^ CLICK THE IMAGE ABOVE TO VIEW THE MOCPAGES GALLERY . ^ This MOC was made in March 2013. Feedback is appreciated.

Pretty nice mix between scifi and realistic. :)
-
That's just fantastic. I love the clean futuristic aesthetic combined with the garden areas.
-
The original Catapult Scorpion was a canonized MOC. Thanks Zach. :D

In a similar incident, NSSD sprayed some pesticide thing throughout his MOC room and almost every single joint broke... but I suppose that since that wouldn't be the case here.
-
Frankly I don't know how that would work... there are so few heroes as it is that a 'stars' wave would be just like any other (except maybe for the villains- I could see them doing that, with upgraded villains from previous waves, etc.)
-
Good point(s). I think that for the next wave, it might be interesting to see multiple types of villains. Perhaps some brain-controlled creatures, some regular villains, and then Dark Maker (for lack of a better, official, name).
-
I pointed this out in the main HF2013 topic, but man, the story in the books has gotten much less cardboardy. XD
-
Honestly I hope we don't get another wave (or year) of Brain Attack. It's good, don't get me wrong, but we need somethin' new. :P

Possible, but I think it'd be mostly pointless, Nocturn.

Bionicle Autopsy: Did Hero Factory Kill Bionicle?
Chro replied to pocketmego's topic in LEGO Action Figures
I definitely agree that that'd be the best way to do it... I think that if it were revived, then this could appropriately include some aspects of the old story, while keeping it in a new window, so to speak (which is not to say that the old story would be mostly discarded, just put in the background). -
Okay, I haven't actually heard much about these before, but has anyone read the HF Secret Mission books, specifically #3, #4, or #5? I had no idea the story was so... well, I don't know... not what I was expecting, in a good way. I may have to find a copy, since they don't actually sound bad.
-
Alright, aside from mentioning the Inika clone build problem, I'm not even going to address the first part of your post, but as for the second... why would a combining wave force Lego to stop making more characters? I think it would, if anything, cause them to make more, not less.
-
On the topic of prototype images, have we seen any for HF sets, other than the preliminaries for Breakout and the Fire Villain wave? (I know we've seen prelim images for others, but as far as I can remember they all ended up looking mostly the same after the sets were released.)

You're right, the proportions are a bit off, I think the torso is too long. The shoulders are actually not that bad (at least in my opinion), but they are a little bit low, because I wanted to attach both the HF armor to the chest, and the Nuva armor to the shoulders... I couldn't attach the Nuva armor from the back because the wing rig was there. Anyway, thanks, Leewan. :)

MOC: CAPTAIN WHITESTAR - Defender of The Univese!
Chro replied to pocketmego's topic in LEGO Action Figures
As with some of your other MOCs, not much to say... I'd suggest spreading out the silver through the body, instead of just the torso and head, as well as changing the orange node piece to blue or white. -
I see what you mean, I guess. But as I said, I was going for a streamlined, spacey look, sort of like a jet fighter rather than a giant bird. :P

Yeah, I was working with very little light blue when I made Taxir... I agree about the colors. Why claws, though? He's scifi, not beastly...

Click the image above to view the photo set on flickr. Here's another MOC, built in January of this year. This is Taxir, a flying warrior. Again, no real backstory, though I think of him as an Iron Tribe Glatorian (with experimental flightpack tech, of course). Feedback is appreciated.

Hey, about time you posted something here! Woo! XD Neat torso, awesome legs (though the lower legs feel a little messy), and cool arms. I like the addition of the cannon arm, too- neat idea.
-
Hey, I see you used a version of the Hydraxon hand design. Looks neat. The hip armoring also works pretty well, at least as far as I can see.
-
Thanks Nova. Yes, and it fires quite well, too. :P
-
I did use the cannon. The only difference is the missile type, since I only have the only missile in lime, not in black. Thanks. :)

So how come Hero Factory doesn't rate a proper TV show?
Chro replied to pocketmego's topic in LEGO Action Figures
I wasn't a huge fan of the Bayformers series, but I disagree that they were worse than the HF episodes... XD
