No, I suppose you're right about fitting it visually with HF... but again, it's down to each person's style. If HF were to be more realistic, then I personally think that the robots would be more detailed, so that's how I'd build my HF MOCs.

Sorry. I guess that the rest of us are better suited to complex and detailed builds instead of simple and smooth ones.

Thanks for the feedback, David. :) I used the feet that I did because I was having trouble connecting the originals, and also I just felt that they were way too big, LOL. Kalmah's arms are extremely stable, why do you ask? And I made the tentacle black to look more like it was part of him, since that's apparently what it's supposed to be. Thanks again. ;)

No, Dorek, I don't think JANG is well-known enough for Lego to mix up an official character name with one of his MOCs (which was sort of a joke, actually). Ask him what Goriz means? I doubt he'd answer, if it was an upcoming product or something.

No, I find it extremely unlikely that Lego would intentionally reference JANG, if that's what you meant.

Thanks Nocturn. Ehlek's torso at its thinnest is three studs wide, which is actually a bit wider than the original... and Kalmah's shoulders from the original set were, IMO, too wide, so I made them a bit thinner. The double-jointed shoulder design is also inspired by the ridiculous flexibility of real squids. :P Thanks Zach. I'd intended to use orange eyes, but couldn't find a second one, and I didn't like how blue eyes looked in this case.

After building Kalmah I wanted another, and Ehlek is my favorite Barraki, so I just had to build him. I'm considering revamping the other four (and Nocturn) later, but for now it's just the Squid and the Eel. Feedback is appreciated.

The thing is, a letter or two off I'd understand, but this isn't really close to any of the names. This could be like the Vastus/Gresh TRU website thing from a few years ago. :P

I suppose the thing here is that HF lends itself more to simpler aesthetics. That doesn't always mean that it looks better without custom Technic designs, just that (for example) the smooth appearance of regular HF armor suits it very well, but the complex look of Technic-constructed limbs might not seem as good on its own... the challenge is finding a balance there, I think.

Unpleasantly gappy, but it's no worse in that regard than most of the official XL builds, I guess. The color scheme works surprisingly well here.

That's awesome. Certainly the most complex entry I've seen so far. One thing I'm unsure of- what color is that? Bronze? "Dark flesh"?

The golden half looks good... and the black spidery section is cool too... but I don't like the sharp contrast there. Otherwise, awesome.

I thought it was kinda clear... he's saying that he wants a wave with regular villains, similar to 1.0, because it was his favorite wave.
