So Obi Wan wins an uneventful match. Now this next match I nearly redrew. I know thats unethical but I suspect many of that take part in these championships with suspect me of fixing some of the matches. I mean R2-D2 vs GONK for *yoda* 's sake! Against anyone else and they'd both have been wiped out. But now we have R2 in the next round!!! I swear to you on *yoda* 's life that these matches are randomly drawn. All this said, this match could be bloody excellent. I'd certainly like to see it in reality. This next match takes place in Echo Base, Hoth. I make it 4-3 Shock Trooper. Your next match comes from the desert of Tattooine. Now look closely at what versions of these minifigs are fighting. Your first fighter is know for his brawn, not his brains and certainly lot his beauty. He's sporting a lovely new axe, though. He's a Gamorrean (from Jabba's Sail Barge). And his opponent, fresh from Cloud City on which he wears his best set of Mandalorian armour, its Boba Fett. The Shocky is just stronger, faster and more intelligent. He offers an unarmed match, which the original Clone stupidly agrees to. They grapple and Shocky pulls off a lovely cross-arm-bar (Jujigatame), forgetting that since minifig arms don't move sideways. Original clone has his arm ripped off. Quite embarassing, really. Shocky wins.

Just in the past few minutes finished building this. Random thoughts: - Man, that was a fun build, though the ring got a little tedious at one point. - Amazingly sturdy - I wonder if I got another Delta-7 Aethersprite, could I mod it to fit another ring? - Nice adaptations to the Actis. Great to see LEGO didn't just rest on their laurels and simply put out another exactly the same all bar colour. They actually played with the design - No lightsaber for Obi-Wan :-( - How many spare parts? - Very efficient service. I order last Friday from S@H, on cheapest delivery method and it arrived this afternoon! - Those missiles are pointless.

R2-D2 wins. I should add that seems to be dragging a bit now. We are well over halfway through round 1 and of course each round will half as long and (hopefully) twice as exciting as the previous round. At the moment, we're essentially just cleansing the game of the detritus. Yor next match comes from the lava planet of Mustafar. Darth Maul wins. Thankfully. I stress again that these matches are RANDOMLY drawn. Which is why matches like the following are so surprising. Its a difficult one. The point about Boba is unsound. Boba wore braided Wookiee scalps as a trophy as few if any bountyh hunters ever killed Wookiees. Also Boba is ultimately the more experienced and more competent Bounty Hunter. Were in non-LEGO, I'd say Jango uses all the gadgets at his disposal such as flamethrowers, rappling lines to burn, entangle and hurt Chewbacca. Instead we have LEGO. Both of them are armed, but Jango doesn't have his gadgets. Jango shoots Chewie, but they're little ineffective blasters whos bolts sting but don't actually damage Chewie. He just walks up to Jango who tries to retreat using his jetpack. Chewie gets a hold of him and rips his arms off. Then pulls of his jetpack/helmet revealing just a black black face. He twists Jango's head around, thereby revealing his human "smiley" face. Chewie wallops him with a giant paw accross his LEGO mush, KOing him. Chewbacca wins

They all look the same. Thats pretty much the point. R2-D2, D5-D4 (Y-Wing version) and R2-D5 all look the same. They're all astormechs. Well that particular astromech was instrumental in Obi Wan and the Clone army winning the battle of Utapau. Anyway, the question wasn't worthiness, just "what's his name?" Just because I'm interested.

Yeah, there were two - one each for Obi Wan and Qui Gon Anyway, we're back on track now. I declare Obi Wan the winner of the last match. The next match (I think) is particularly interesting and not at all predictable. It comes from the jungle world of Kassyykk. Introducing first, arriving via Wookiee Catamaran, its CHEWBACCA.
