  1. Quite possibly Read my posts and decide for yourself ;-)
  2. Actually its surprising how quick Martial Arts magazines I send to a friend in Wanganui get to him.
  3. Ah, ok. Would you happen to know my mate Chris Gintas? He lives in Canada too. In Vancouver, I think.
  4. Canada? Fantastic, I'll send my friends from Maple Ridge Jujitsu over. They first introduced me to Pressure Points.
  5. I may find some sportsmanship in me. Somewhere. Maybe. >:-) Who's willing to send Muffins in the post? One permission-to-whack per muffin. Good deal, I think!
  6. Bloody hell, I'm away from EB for TWENTY-FOUR HOURS and one innocent comment about how I like a muffin with my coffee in the morning adds six pages onto a thread! The Whack-a-... was added, what, four pages ago. Though I've added something to the other thread that has been thus far missed >:-) And to respond to CopMike and Hickley's questions, I'm not into bragging normally, I tend to downplay my Martial Arts, but I think for once its warranted. Please check out my club's website at www.worcesterspiritcombat.co.uk. I'm the gorgeous one on the right, holding my brand spanking new FOUTH DAN certificate. This for Aiki-Juijtsu. Also taking a black belt grade this coming Saturday in Kempo Jujitsu (look at www.british-kempo.co.uk and look at the instructor page) and am aiming to upgrade my black belt in Kickboxing from "full-" to 1st Dan at the end of the year. Ask JonFett: I went Kendo-stylee with him at Windsor using Bionicle costume bits. < CaptainTau, looking forward to his next EB meet and some real-time "whacking" > >:-)
  7. Just want to draw your attention to this: This especially to Cutlass and anyone else who suggested "whack-a-tau" >:-)
  8. Ah, yeah, I love a bit of muff in the morning. ;-)
  9. Ah, Cutlass. I was just thinking that what with ice cube trays, egg cups, egg timers, bottle openers etc, who says LEGO is mainly for males? :-P
  10. Would you believe I have a glass of Baileys in front of me right now. Haven't had any in ages. Yep, LEGO ice cubs would go nicely in their. I might eBay or BL one.
  11. Any of you chaps up for picking me up en route? X-D
  12. Thanks for the offer. With two parcels arriving today, I'll be keeping my money until next payday. May well contact you then if the offer's still open.
  13. Yes. Oh well, currently satisfying my addiction with Aqua Raiders. And Mars Mission looks interesting.
  14. This is very good advice. Although nowhere near as bad as Hickley, I have many times doen such things, thankfully just with smaller, cheaper sets. Even then, when you're budgetting, small purchases can become a problem. Also don't buy when you're depressed. I have a friend who resolves depression with "retail therapy". Then he gets into trouble with the bank and just gets more depressed. Not worth it.
  15. OK, two reasons Darth Maul got little screen time: 1. The relevence of Count Dooku / Darth Tyranus. He was Qui-Gon's master, after all. Also, IF you accept that Anakin was concieved via midi-chlorian manipulation by Darth Plaguleis then everything up to the rise of DV is part of a large plot to effect that. In fact, Palpy has several potential Sith Apprentices constantly, should any previous die (as Maul did) 2. Ray Park is a damned good Wushu practitioner, but he can't act for toffee! Oh and regards the death of General G, well yes he's a lightsaber master, but he has no connection to The Force and there's a reason Obi Wan has become a Jedi Master (remember that at this time, there are possibly 10,000 Jedi)
  16. Sith Infiltrator (or Small Intestine to us Kempo practitioners)
  17. Ah fantastic, now we've come to a point I made on this forum a few months ago. For those unaware, by profession, I'm a Nurse. I also happen to be blessed with a Y chromosome. It occurred to me sometime ago that LEGO hospital / medical emergency sets were sadly lacking in Nurse minifigs. Also, any male medical-type minifig will automatically be assumed to be a Dr or paramedic and female a Nurse. This is conforming to stereotypes and frankly might be simplictic but is in applicable in the 21st century. To wit, Mrs Tau is a land and building surveyor by profession. I jokingly say to people that we're gonna have confused kids: mummy wears a hard-hat to work and daddy wears a plastic apron. However, we are certainly not atypical. This whole predominantly-male minigs in labour (police, road repair) and predominantly female minifigs in leisure (horseriding etc) is an outmoded concept. I want female police officers and fire fighters! Though we can do without female pilots; drivers are bad enough! Sorry, I've gone off topic a tad. Yes, Paradisa, great line!
  18. Since they arn't on UK S@H, I'm guessing they arn't available in the UK yet, hence very few on eBay and none from UK seller on BL. I'll wait 'till next month. In the meantime, to keep my LEHO addiction at bay, I've bought my first Aqua Raiders set!
  19. Varies day to day, but generally either the AT-TE or X-Wing on Dagobah
  20. Worcestershire, England. Whereabouts in NZ do you live, Legoman? My local sports shop (Woolworths) has only just got the V-Wing in!
  21. PAYDAY! Finally got all the January 2007 Star Wars sets so now starting to get latest batch. Looking for either 7660 or 7661 but none at reasonable prices on eBay or BL. WTF is going on? I thoughtthere'd be LOADS available. Why is this? Alternatively, can anyone help?
  22. Only metaphorically >:-)
  23. What would be excellent, though maybe a tad excess is a tag for each person that attends at EB event, with a tag per event. So for example, there'd be a Windsor 2007 tag, a Germany 2007 tag etc. Like a trophy or badge to display If there's concerns about space for tags, have the image available to go in the user sig' or profile.
