  1. You know what they say: "If you build it, They might come... or they might just lurk for a bit, and not post anything." I'm pretty sure that is a direct quote from William Shakespeare, who is an expert at building things, like the Hadrian Wall, which he built to keep the Romans out of Scotland in approximately 600 AD. But if you don't believe me, here's an image of his famous contemporary, and namesake William Penn. Another True Scottish Hero. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  2. Yeah, I really don't know what they're planning in regards to the astronaut. Unless they are going to do a big thing and have a new bulky helmet or something, I don't see how it could be anything other than Generic. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  3. I'm expecting it to be just a bar. This figure sounds like it'll be one of the cost savers in regards to new parts. Not that I'm complaining. If the torso printing is nice, this may be an army builder for me. At least a little squad. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  4. Hey! Dannys aren't cheap! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  5. Only if you purchase 75 dollars worth of Danny or Danny accessories. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  6. True. That does happen to some Dannys. Well, if that happens to this one, just take him out behind the shed and give 'im a good one between the ears and I'll replace the Danny for free, and cover all shipping and handling fees. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  7. Nope! Just this Danny! Why would you ever need any other? I know! He's a hunk! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  8. He's a main character. I can't imagine we won't see him in a smaller set at some point in the theme's existence... if you're willing to wait, I guarantee we'll see him in a smaller set. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  9. Yeah, is there a quote? I know it's been speculated by me that the Scary Knight will be a Fright Knight, but I don't think we've had anything confirmed yet regarding the Knight, or, really, anything else. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  10. As King Minos is a connoisseur of sin, in Dante's Inferno, so too am I a connoisseur of bad game balance. this should lend me some insight into not repeating my mistakes here. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  11. I can also guarantee that the game will be balanced. In fact, I will be the primary consultant on game-balance, as I have an impeccable record in regards to balancing games. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  12. Wow! Dude's quite good lookin'! Love that goatee! He reminds me of a yellow Kanan. His torso design is nice also. Great figure all-around. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  13. Allow me to express my sentiments through emoticons. Knight's Blaster-$6.99 Chaos Catapult-$7.99 Lance's mecha horse-$24.99 Moltor's lava smasher-$19.99 Chaos chariot-$29.99 Clay's Rumble Blade-$39.99 merlock's library-$29.99 Infernox captures the queen-$24.99 Kings mech- $39.99 I am pleasantly surprised by the price of Moltor's smasher, as well as the chariot, which I might actually get instead of Macy's ultimate... still not sure which of the two I'd prefer. I'm disappointed by the price of the Library, and amused at the price of the horse. I won't criticize the design, because I know I couldn't do better myself, but wow. I still have not come around to the set. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  14. So there is no other 3D animation on Cartoon Network then. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  15. Thank you! I love to say things. And when I do say things, I hope I say them well. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  16. Aside from "Rebels" and "Clone Wars" I don't actually know any other 3d shows on CN. So, you could be right! I'm not really a fan of 3d animations for the most part. I don't even like it in serious programs like the "Ghost in the Shell" films, since I find it offputting, but in this clip, the scenery is particularly stark. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  17. To clarify point 4, if we are late it is 100% my fault. Not because I'm at all related to the picture taking process, or the editing or anything, but rather, because everything is always my fault and you aught direct your negative feelings towards me. I am, by trade, a whipping-boy and a masochist, and take great pleasure in your cries of frustration. In fact, I enjoy my martinis with a drop of childrens' tears. It makes them taste better. I guess that also makes me a sadist. Also, Hi, I'm Dougal Logan, and I will be your Flight Attendant Cohost. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  18. I think it's the stark geometrical aesthetic that is causing me to see parallels. Like, the houses are very reminiscent of the few HF episodes I watched (clips of). This is really just a limitation of CGI as a medium for cheap cartoons, though... it's just more obvious here than in the clips of Ninjago I watched. (I actually saw probably a few whole episodes of that. ) Also the bland dialogue and funless action really did not help it. The dynamic between blue and silver (one of them's Clay) was pretty much the only thing it had going for it. And the animation of the figures themselves was not bad either. Certainly not as bad as their austere setting. Some of the Cartoons I grew up with, such as Rugrats, Kim Possible, and Hey Arnold, but I've always tended towards less "silly" cartoons. I enjoyed SpongeBob in small doses when it originally aired. I have also enjoyed Anime such as Cowboy Bebop, Baccano, and Spice and Wolf, among others. Currently I enjoy Steven Universe and Gravity Falls, and also enjoyed Over the Garden Wall and the Avatar series. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  19. Animation wise it looks as dull as Hero Fuctory. Really the Nexo Knights power up sequence was long. As was the fighting sequence. And everything. Even though it was a short webisode it felt very long. Although, I should probably state upfront that in general I dislike most cartoons, as well as the CGI cartoon medium in general. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  20. I hope that's not what the show is like. That was probably the blandest most lukewarm attempt at a Webisode I've ever seen. All the characters were incredibly flat. The voice acting on Clay was good, but the voice acting on Jestro was disappointing. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  21. For a second there I thought "Wow, Nya's face has really changed" Good find! I will admit though it makes him look a lot younger. Reminds me of Lloyd now. What gave him the scar in the first place? I'll admit, I'm glad to see it go and hope it's a more permanent thing, since unless they start giving him different exressions, I have enough of serious scar faced Kai. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  22. I don't think it's easy. I can hardly find leaks after they're common knowledge! Thanks again for your work though! Someone's gotta do it! Glad to see a re-release/reimagining of Lasha. Never got many of the Serpentine when they were out, which I regret, so I may get that too. Although I really should be rationing my Lego purchases so that I can afford things like "Rent" and "food." ~Insectoid Aristocrat
