I knew a Donna once. We were on vacation on this tropical Island, but then she doomed us all to hell by recalling her vote. Good times. -

"Better luck next time, eh Durkon?" Commented Sylph, patting the woman heavily on her back with his heavy iron Gloves. "I agree, the graveyard is a good idea. " Sylph said as he let his own bat out from his robes to fly beside puddles. -

Ensign Brian Pewter here! Ready to kick some Purist butt, and the butts of whatever other factions may stand in our way! (OoC: Bob, your pictures are so much easier to put as my avatar than those from the Jedi Temple.) -
Heroica RPG - Quest#25: Imbuing the Sword
Dannylonglegs replied to Bricksandparts's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Ssssh, this is the Guild of Invision, They're alchemists, not magicians. They deal in reagents, and potions, not gems." -
Bricksandparts, can we get a little recap as to our objective and the locations and what not? Thanks! ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Heroica RPG - Quest#25: Imbuing the Sword
Dannylonglegs replied to Bricksandparts's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Ahh, Salutations our gracious hosts, The Guild of Invision. We would love to know if you have and are willing to share, any of the following items:" Sylph shows the Guild member the list. "It would be fantastic if you did. I would kill to be finished with this task. In answer to your 'credit' question, It's something of a long story, but we helped your friend Robin here... tend to some legal issues. We also spared his life and revived him and several of his palls to full health after a little misunderstanding." -
Sylph nodded goodbye to Sorrow, and walked out to resume quest 25.

"Ah, that truly is a sad form of existence. I pray that Nature sees fit to undo your suffering. However I fail to see anything noble about the art of Necromancy. I may come of as rude by saying that to an... undead such as yourself, but bringing a creature back from death strikes me as one of the most unnatural acts that can be committed. Again, I mean not to offend, especially not someone elder than I. Will you attempt to free your... father?"

"I did. A very long time ago. It's where I first connected with Sylvania, the beautiful goddess of nature, and where My Mentor and I lived and where he died. I remember the dark forest so well that when I close my eyes I can almost see the moss coated forest floor through small beams of light that manage to break through the nearly impenetrable canopy. Sometimes at night, I recall the feral wolves' howl, and the arcane ruins of decrepit elf settlements. Many secrets and mysteries remain hidden among the thick grey trees of my past life in the Waldurk Forest, and I miss... that life." Sylph said, slowly as if lost in his own world for a second, his eyes, had they been visible beneath his all-concealing metal helmet, would have been glass-like and distant. "But there was also the first time I felt the sting of cold iron, and the even worse sting of betrayal by a loved one." He stated, returning from his trance. "And that is even more bitter than any herb grown wild in the forest. But enough of my bitter-sweet memories." He said like a tired war veteran. "How do you know the Forest?"
-
"Puzzling..." mused Sylph as he watched the ungainly woman walk out the Hall. "what a strange elf."

You do know that the Wolfgang is rather exclusive to the Eubric City and its warring Houses (at least, I'm pretty sure), right? Waldruk definitely has Were-wolves though. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

"Well, ummmm. Good to know. I'm not a therapist nor am I looking for romance... Especially not the way you are right now... Out of your own skin. However, you can talk to me. Especially of the Waldruk forests. I remember them fondly. I was unaware that the Wolfgang had a presence in the forests though. Surely, you mean you were in the city when she was killed? Anyway, You need my Divine skills for something? Should you need spiritual healing, I am more than willing to assist you in reconnecting to Mother Nature. such is my duty as her servant."

"Ahh, Fresh blood I see." Commented Sylph as more, new people signed up for quest 25. Seeing Durkonette sign up, Sylph nodded in recognition of her familiar face. "Good to have you back. I don't like the mad monk's type of people either."
-
Sylph walked past the game table and the holier-than-thou cleric on his way to the Resign-up sheet for Quest 25. His bat dove into his cloak, and he pulled a feather pen from his sack. He dipped it in ink and scratched his name on the board. "SYLPH SOLANUM." "Ready when you are mates." He said more to himself than anyone else, leaning his back on the post as he waited.

This is going to be a blast! Whooo! 1. From my profile: I died as Donna Falcon, an innocent, stupid, 50 year old human resources consultant in Hinckley's Red Moon, 1 and 2! Died as Mrs. Julia Montgomery, wife of Jack, mother of Jeremy, and Owner of Local Pet Store in your Suburbia Previously livin' the good life as Daniel de Belle-ville, international playboy, in Belville Mafia! Formerly playing as Gavin Gorilla, a townie in Hinkley's Mafia School: Fabuland Housewives Also, Louis Inglston, a Gas store worker, and insane rhyming Serial Killer, And winner in Darth_Legois and Bob the Construction Man's Prohibition Mafia. (<-- Still my favorite, cause it's still the only one I've won ) also, I was in the Jedi Temple Mafia as the Vanilla Ki-Adi-Mundi and almost made it, but I trusted the wrong person (Coryn ) and we lost. B. I get the feeling you want to hear... "the final frontier..." Am I right? I could also say that it is an illusion created through the use of light and dark elements in art. III. 5, or so says the ministry of truth. and we would never think anything other than what the ministry of truth says, now would we? ~Insectoid Aristocrat
