I chose you because all of your comments so far have given me a scummy vibe, today, and yesterday. I've already explained my suspicions of you. It's not that you're inactive, it's that the posts you have made make it seem like you're trying to seem useful without really saying anything! Also, you seemed to be suspicious of Walters without even having a real reason (before you made your argument.) I apologize for saying you took your points from Donna if you didn't. I suppose there are only so many things Walters has done that can make one suspicious of him, so there's reason for repeat. I'm not sure how you came to that conclusion, but it is incorrect. I'm pretty sure Donna's Loyal from her actions and her argument (and the fact that she just woke up, but that's just gut), and I think Flipz is loyal too, from his actions and gut. You are the only one who's voted for him that I suspect, and I made my argument against you and Jack before Donna even made her argument against Walters. I don't know who Jack's suspicious of, but he hasn't said anything about Walters as far as I know. And, I'm not sure about Walters, because I can't tell if his actions are truly those of a purist, or if I'm just blinded by the actions of Coryn in the popular Holo-series, Jedi Temple Mafia. My point is that this has nothing to do with Walters.

Sorry for the long post. Alright, thanks for responding to my suspicions. This doesn't clear you entirely in my mind, but I won't be voting for you today. I'm keeping my eyes on you though. Well, according to Francis, nothing any of us has said has been useful at all anyways, so we're all in the same boat there. What strikes me as scummy about your comments though is that you do speak up every now and then, but you say nothing and your confusion is evident. If you're a townie, read the posts, and try not to say someone's voted who hasn't! You don't look like you're hopelessly confused, you look like you're trying to find reasons to get Walters Lynched, and trying to seem helpful! I forget who it was who said this during that holo-series Jedi Temple Mafia, Templies don't have to try to seem helpful, they actually need to be helpful, or else they'll let the sith win, or let themselves get wrongfully Lynched! (It was probably Coryn , but the adage still stands) Any faith at this point is misguided, because we have no bearing for who may or may not be scum, because, unfortunately, we haven't caught one yet! So excuse me for not having enough faith to wait for your reply to vote. We can unvote, so anything to make you respond is a good thing in my opinion. Interesting, this argument is allot better than the one that Jones made earlier. However, I still think Flare is the best candidate for Lynching today. See, I told you she'd do it. You established your "suspicion" of him earlier for a nonexistent reason, and now you're back with a bad rehash of the case just made by Donna. You were looking for reasons to vote for him, and you found them! congrats! I could go through your argument point by point and explain where the ideas in it are exactly those of Donna and where your metagaming and bad reasoning take their place, but Walters just did, and while Donna's case against him is much better than Jones' I still think you are a better Lynch candidate than Walters. Your behavior strikes me as incredibly scummy and nothing you have said yet makes me think otherwise, and allot of what you've done so far actually reaffirms my suspicions. I do want to mention this quote however. Yes, the only way to see if he's one of "dem purists" is to vote for him... or anyone else who looks like they may have a bandwagon forming against them that might be better to jump on than Walters' It looks like your establishing your escape route in case another bandwagon comes along. Right now I wouldn't be surprised if you were both scum trying to use the other as a "scum wouldn't vote off scum" argument. That's a bit of a long shot though. Right now, I'm only suspicious enough to vote off you.
-
Very well, it is only reasonable to air ones suspicions. It's interesting you mention Lt. Wheeler though, because she seems to have radically decreased her efforts to assist us. It almost seems like she is laying low after the Lynch of Peter Robins. It's a really sudden shift in character that makes me wonder if she's just trying to avoid unwanted attention. so this doesn't count? Oh, of course, you're right, its got an unneeded slash! Let me fix that! Vote: Lieutenant Suzanne Vanderbilt(Flare) Whoops, now it's missing a space! Vote: Lieutenant Suzanne Vanderbilt (Flare)

Now, we peruse the wares of the market. Looking for the last 3 things the rotting guy requires. -
Oh, you may be right. I thought he was saying he was waiting for proof, which would be dumb. I agree, and as I pointed out, I find it very suspicious. Lieutenant Suzanne Vanderbil (Flare) may have my vote now, but your behavior has been equally scummy to me. Not to derail the conversation, but I once acted in a black and white holo-show set during the Prohibition era, directed by a man with a similar name to our own Admiral, in which the rhyming serial killer, who I played (very well, if I do say so myself), could only kill by flipping a coin and having it land on heads. Many nights he did not kill because his coin did not land on the proper side. I think he only got one clear cut kill in the show, and that was in the conclusion!
-
Really? You won't vote yet because you can't see more conclusive proof? Apparently, according to Flipz there is one "cleared" townie, and that's the only thing resembling proof that any of us have yet, and it's not like that's much help now. I haven't seen any convincing arguments yet, so I'm going to place my vote on Vote: Lieutenant Suzanne Vanderbilt/(Flare) She's said nothing of substance and has been sliding under the radar all day and yesterday. I'm not trying to draw attention away from any of the other arguments that have been made, but no one has targeted anyone I actually think could be scum. Shadows has done little to aid our cause, but that could be from aloofness, and Foog does make a good point about the death of Draggy. I honestly don't know how to interpret his apparent lack of participation. Darkdragon has raised my suspicions, but he's new to the game... of life, and that might be foiling some scumdars.

Sorry, I didn't realize I was metagaming! In Pal's case, it's not so much metagaming and more how he's acted to me and what he's said, and I guess Scubacarrot would fall under the gut category. This comment is really quite confusing, even considering that you thought the chandelier joke meant something (to anyone but Dragonator) which is a very odd conclusion to reach. I'm not sure those are our only two options if that's what you're saying. Neither seems too compelling to me. You're suggesting that Wilder (Peanuts) is scum now? How'd that happen? You're accusing him for making a grasping accusation, when this itself is something of a grasping accusation! And that he walks the middle ground is not even the entirety of Peanut's argument against Daly. And then it sounds like you're suggesting that one between Jones and Walters is scum. If you think one is, just say it, instead of saying "We must wonder..." And then there's this, which I won't even try to comment on. The first time you spoke today you brought up SKs too, but your conclusion was different. Altogether, this post looks very scummy. You open with having settled on two cases, then go on to a poorly thought out somewhat accusation towards Peanuts and then the suggestion that maybe someone in the Tammo/Flipz argument could be scum. All this is followed by distracting garbage that might make it seem as if you were trying to help. I've got my eyes on you. Hmm. I'm not sure what to think about you. Yesterday, I thought you might have been in league with Awesomestar and KotZ, but that didn't turn out well. Your behavior has struck me as somewhat scummy, as there's very little substance to your comments. Yesterday, you showed up to say several things which weren't particularly useful, and then voted with the bandwagon. And now you show up and establish that you're suspicious of Walter for voting, when he hasn't even voted! Are you talking about Lieutenant Michael McAndrews (Brickdoctor)? The point is though that you established your suspicion on him for an unfounded reason, and it looks to me like you could show up again when a Lynch has started so that you could say something like: "I was suspicious of him earlier and now I agree with what everyone else is saying. Vote: Tammo/(ProbsTownorBussedScum)" I'm not sure if this post is scummy or just highly confused.
-
Interesting. You find the person I believe most of all to be Townie, and me who I know to be Townie, scummy. I really don't know what I've writen that would make you come to such a conclusion. Feel free to show me what it is that makes you believe I know more than I'm letting on, and I'll re-explain it to you. Nothing I've written comes from more than reasoning and observation (and if it's the SK reference, experience.) I've been vocal because I've been actively trying find out who among us is scum. Feel free to "keep your watch" on me, but I assure you I'm an average Townie. Scubacarrot is acting the same way he was last game when he was one of the only sane townies and I regret not listening to him then. I don't see anything in his actions that would lead me to believe he's scum. And Palathadric is another who I'm pretty sure is townie, by his actions and his behavior.

Heroica RPG - Quest#25: Imbuing the Sword

I suppose we rest till morning. -
Yes, probably. I would still have thought that Awesomestar's actions made him scummy even if KotZ had shown up Townie (which he did.) Their mistake was, indeed a mistake, but it wasn't the worst they could have made. They targeted someone who was clearly not an asset to the Town, whether he was one of us or not, and they saved us a great deal of confusion at the very least, and, I think, a lynch today. If you're so concerned about our chances why don't you enlighten us? Who are the scum? Please, I want to know so I can Lynch them and win the game get back to my security duties. Exactly! That's what I was saying and what Shadows was refuting.
-
I agree. I don't really want to trust Tammo again so early, but I really don't understand most of the points made in the "case" against him, and most of the points that make him seem scummy are circumstantial.
-
Holy crap! Tammo in no way holds a monopoly on walls of text. So are you saying you've been in contact with someone who knows the watcher and you know the night's results? Are we actually getting somewhere? That aside, this massive post is relatively confusing. I suggest for future facility, just make multiple, smaller posts. It almost took 2 hours to read it! I did find some of her posts scummy early on, but later her posts showed reasoning. In my opinion, I don't think there's enough to call her scum. It's likely her newness to the game... of life that's tripping your scumdar.

Well, Wright's death is not really as bad as some are making it out to be. If he hadn't been killed by the vig, we would have wasted today's lynch on him for sure. It's actually more of a blow to the scum than to us I think. Now they have to find another town candidate to push to the Lynch. It was however, really cowardly of the Scum to have killed Dragonator last night out of fear that he would become a bigger problem. However, this, I believe is why you, tammo--I mean Walters. Where'd that name 'Tammo' come from? --were not targeted. As you can see there's potential for your own Lynch today, and the Scum wouldn't waste a night kill on what could easily become a day kill. That being said, you didn't ask to be investigated... only watched. I don't see your reasoning here. Why would low key make you a target of the scum? Unless of course, they thought you had a power role. From my experience, the only killer that would target someone playing low-key would be a serial killer, who aims for targets that would make a low impact, which I don't think you would be anyways. I think you're over-assessing your situation. It must be a weird feeling to not be the most important player on the board anymore. None of this chatter is any different than what we're all already thinking. Yes, we're in a bad place with three townies down (albeit, only one potentially useful townie.), we've established that. Yes, The power roles can't do anything about the results of their night actions until they can find someone to trust (and they sure as hell shouldn't do anything about it publicly). I think we established that, or at least we should already know that. (we shouldn't be telling the PRs to do things in the day thread either for obvious reasons (Flipz, Dakar A )either.) Are you telling the Vig not to kill, or not to take orders from the public? Are you honestly saying we should wait for evidence you just admitted is non-existent on day one, before the vig actually uses his/her power? Apart from the possibility that he could have been watched, the vig didn't make too bad a call yesterday. As I explained, he saved us a day lynch and let us all know that our thoughts yesterday were erroneous so that we can start fresh today.

(Ooc: "I'm givin' it all she's got cap'n" ) "Phoenix essence and two remedies! Can I hear a Phoenix essence and two remedies? Can I hear a Phoenix essence and two remedies? Sold to whoever wants to get out of this smelly bar!" belted Sylph, imitating an auction salesman, while rocking back on his chair in an uninterested fashion. -
Well that blows all of my thoughts out of the water. Whelp, back to the drawing-board. I was highly suspicious of Joshua Wright yesterday, and could have sworn at least he was scum. I agree with those who have said that the vig kill was likely Awesomestar. After all, his death was called for in public. I don't know why Dragonator was killed, as he wasn't vocal at all yesterday. How else can we be expected to find the scum if you don't share your suspicions? If I were scum, I'd certainly kill him! I think he was probably expecting some kind of metagame kill, although from the sound of his PMs to you, he does seem pretty jumpy. I'm not sure what to think about Kadabra (Donna) has anyone heard from her? She hasn't been around since before day one. I don't even know if she knows her role. I don't think it's scummy, but it certainly is odd, and it makes me worried.

You did say that, but actions speak louder than words! Not 4 posts earlier (in a rapid succession) You were telling everyone to calm down on the accusations (when KotZ was under suspicion) and 2 posts later you were accusing Brickdoctor. Then you dropped your accusation entirely as if it had never happened and followed Scubacarrot in suspecting KotZ. This all happened on pages 6 and 7. So much for cooler heads prevailing. If you're not convinced, There's plenty of time for you to find a better candidate. Not that KotZ is helping the situation much.

"And I don't like it when corpses are reanimated, but it's just something we all have to deal with in this cold unnatural world. Isn't it? I suggest, unless you don't like power and reward for a job well done, that you put away your dislike for the man, and help us get some spirit fog. Now, does anyone have a pheonix essence, or 2 remedies?" -
Well, it actually seemed to me like you were drawing attention away from him when people started to act suspicious of his behavior. And then you suspected Brickdoctor when he brought up your call to cool off the suspicion. And then after Scubacarrot called you out on "actively trying to get the spotlight off Robbins," you cozied up to Scuba and repeated his next post in which he called King of the Zeph's statement incomprehensible with this: There is so much wrong with this comment! And ever since that your comments have been incredibly scummy. King of the Zeph has certainly been acting strange, but I feel that it could have something to do with a lack of experience, or desire to live. I really wouldn't mind having him gone anyway, as he's not helping at all (in fact he's doing the opposite by refusing to defend himself), but I still think you are the most scummy one here.
-
You're nailing yourself into a coffin right now, but if I'm right, you belong there. Because Vigilantes are unreliable, and when uninstructed by someone they trust, could target anyone. The only weapon I can trust at the moment is my vote, so I'm using it for who I feel is more likely to be scum.
-
I'm not one to vote early, but since we have unvotes (Masked Builder ) I'll place my vote for Vote: Lt. Joshua Wright (AwesomeStar). His behavior has been raising red flags in my opinion, all day, and his interactions with Ensign Peter Robbins have been even stranger. Don't think I'm doing this because I don't suspect Ensign Robbins though, he's my second suspect, but I think there's more of a chance of Wright being scum than Robbins. The way the two have acted today makes me feel like they are both scum trying to distance themselves, but there is a small voice in the back of my mind that thinks that Wright may have just been trying to buddy up to Robbins earlier.
