  1. Sylph contemplated the arrangement of unmarked potions, growing increasingly frustrated with the last person to have used them and not list their names. The annoyance reached its breaking point, and Sylph tilted his head like a dog and calmly reached out for the potion marked 2. His other hand reached out for potion 9. "If you gentlemen, and gentleladies, and not-so-gentle-confused, wouldn't mind, I suppose we should do this by trial by error. I simply wish we knew what purpose this potion served. I'll wait for you to authorize me to commence mixxing. I've explained why 2 and 9 are what I explained they were. I think now that the third ingredient is 20 or maybe 3 for its similarity to the first 2. If something was added, it would most likely be ingredients for this potion, don't you think? Has anyone seen a cauldron? Wait, I think I have a portable one... that I don't put in my inventory... " With that, Sylph retrieved a bowl sized iron pot with a handle from his bag of holding, and waited for Tomas to let him start with the combination 2, 9, and 20.
  2. Sweet, thanks! Now I won't stay up till 1:00 waiting to see if you've posted the day thread! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  3. That's fine. Sorry to hear that you've been busy. I know that real life takes precedent to entertainment. (I'm sure I disappointed some folks earlier this year when I was overwhelmed by school work. ) but do you have an estimate as to when you will be free to start the next day? ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  4. Nice fig, and great photography! Also, fun little riddle! Good Job! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  5. "I'm well trained in these arts. I surpassed my master's knowledge of these arts before his... tragic death. I have learned even more since then. "

  7. You should put that in spoilers! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  8. "I'm now confident that 2 and 19 are both Tarshgrom. The book indicates that a dose is on shelves 1 and 3, and that's where these potions are. They are also apparently same smelling. 9 is the Apricot and lemon. It is the only one only on shelf 2 (plus, the colour.). That being said, the mushroom mix cannot be from shelf 2, as it is also only found on one shelf. That means it can only be 1, 3 (which is similar smelling to the Tarshgrom), 20, or 23. I suspect that as it is called "mix" it is 23, but I cannot be sure. Durkon, have you ever eaten or smelled mushrooms? Of course you have. From what I can tell you eat anything that looks vaguely edible. That's not a good strategy in the dark forest, let me tell you that. Anyway, smell 23 and the others I mentioned and see if it smells like foyer mushrooms. They likely have an earthy, sweaty smell if I recall correctly."
  9. "Gotcha, I just wanted to make sure. And BTW, I always add extra things to my recipes."
  10. "Does anyone have a good nose? Elves have noses. Durkon, why don't you waft these potions to see if any smell/ appear similar." I know that I can't remove them but, for instance: Potion 1= water, potion 12= vinegar, potion 20= oil. that does nothing. potion 13= baking soda. Adding baking soda makes a bubbling. The same reaction occurs with 1, 12, and 13 without 20.
  11. But of course, their expert class is the Necromancer, described as a corrupt wizard who rules the undead... That's what would make me throw my lot in with them. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  12. Are similarly coloured potions the same? Also, in the above example where you combine potions 5 12 and 20 and 20 was the wrong ingredient, and you then added say... 13, and that made something, would 5 12 and 13 make the same thing?
  13. I believe 2 and 19 are Tarshgrom, 9, 12, or 15 are apricot with lemon, and 1 or 23 is the foyer mushroom mix?
  14. "Yes! To the last primary colour!" "The door that is."
  15. "Hmm. Who would have guessed, there's another primary color. After the venom's dealt, lets go to the room with the red door."
  16. "I do too. Lets go East then North."
  17. "It doesn't really matter to me as long as we go somewhere. Standing here's getting us nowhere." "The Room with the red door sounds fine. Let's go to the room with the red door."
  18. "Yes! Now let's go east and then North and finish checking this side before we open the red door!"
  19. I've got a couple cards up there too. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  20. In that case, why don't we inwestigate the room on the left?
  21. Oooh, this is a clever Idea! I like how you pulled it off, although it looks and spins a bit lopsidedly, but that's not too big of a problem compared to the coolness of the spinning Mother Ship! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  22. That doesn't sound too bad to me, but I'm not one to complain about most things.
  23. "Let's go back to the room where we found Puddles and continue North."
  24. For three whole days? Well, at least you're not incurring penalty votes again. I agree with the general Idea of this, but not most of the details. This part makes sense. Why he claimed scum has been an enigma to me, but your theory, the "the scum are always protecting Monn" theory actually could explain it. It would also explain why C-3PO voted for him: to make it seem like he was a scum trying to get a Townee Lynched, therefore making Monn less of a target. This part doesn't make sense. How and why would the scum...? who's the investigator...? What? The logistics of this are crazy! I can't begin to understand how a scheme like that would make sense. It seems like you're suggesting Coryn's in on this as well? Yes, Coryn had a theory about C-3PO, and one about Euna, but I don't feel either of those were in an attempt to push suspicion off of Monn, and anyway, Coryn's been one of the most vocal against Monn today. (and by the way, the word is either insinuated or initiated, and I believe you were aiming for the latter, but it's hard to tell.)
