  1. It was Scottish? I thought it was Russian!
  2. Sylph suggests that we go into the glowing Portal of death, himself last, of course. Call out if you're dying.
  3. Oi, you forgot the obnoxious and obviously scummy accent which mysteriously disapeared mid-day 1. Aside from that, amazingly. I want to find an escape pod now. I need to vomit. My head hurts. It feels like I'm an enirely different person. Oooooh, in adition to Shadows, my hat is also da' bomb. I'm keeping that. Well, it's good to be back after that reboot. Hopefully this time we can get through a virtual investigation without interuption. Wait, it's not virtual this time? You mean it really matters who lives or dies? *gulp*
  4. Durkon posted a while back explaining that, he is still in Tammo's control I think. "Hmmmm. Interesting. Maybe she'll come back as a guy. Here are the items you demanded." stated Sylph.
  5. Intentionally Disobedient-Thank you Hinckley, I got this by apologizing for unintentionally leading the conversation at the Conclusion of Excalibur 1.0 towards the discussion of roles which Bob stipulated was off limits. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  6. I guess We can discuss our basic strategy now. On night 2 we targeted Fhomess to kill because he was A. a strong Townie, and B. because he made a coherent argument against Tammo. Fhomess's death would incriminate Tammo, who many were ready to turn on at the time. We also lead every almost Lynch that day to prepare for future Lynches should the plan not work. On day 3 We'd get Tammo Lynched for getting rid of Fhomess, and on Night 3 we'd target an unprotected Townie. (We really wanted to get rid of Scuba ) With Tammo dead and Townie on day 4, we'd blame it on Flare who had been against Tammo from before day 1 (thanks Pal for that info ) With Tammo dead, I'd send him a post that said something along the lines of, "4 and 7" a bad hand to get in Poker (Texas Hold-em) The only thing that could have stopped us happened though, which was Flipz getting blocked (although, a successful investigation would have done the same. VolcanicPanic's death would not have dented the scheme though because he had been an outlier who many suspected.) I take some credit for this plan. With that plan down the drain, we devised several gambits to fix the Flipz problem, and eventually, I came in contact with CallmePie anonymously, who I suspected to be a Neutral Cop. I convinced him to not investigate anyone who Flipz outed and to tell us his target and the result. I take credit for that too. And it's the reason for my new Profile Status. He said later I reminded him of a corny 60s Batman Villain. I was aiming for menacing and confusing. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  7. I'd love to take credit for my name, but as my end of message signature might imply, I borrowed this name from the name of my favorite Insectoid as a kid: Danny Longlegs. It has nothing to do with my actual name, which is not Dan, Danny, or Daniel. This is the online persona I use all over the place, from Devientart to Flickr. I love the name though, and I wish I could say my name actually was Daniel Long, or something. ~Insectoid Aistocrat
  8. At this point, his player agrees.
  9. I was having allot of fun riding circles around you all too, although now that I do have a little experience with scum, I think I prefer analyzing to manipulating, but I still wish I'd had a longer chance to grow accustomed to it and make coordinated moves. Also, I didn't really get a chance to figure out who the PRs were, and I'm dying to learn if I was right about Darkdragon. So, I was having allot of fun before Flipz got the Idea to play this gambit. I made at least 50 posts arguing against it unsucessfully. It really is a shame that everything's all shaken up now, but I'm still highly anticipatory of the reboot. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  10. Well, I didn't aprove of the gambit or the attitude, but I too thought it was mostly him trying to convince the Town that what he was saying was true (which would work to convince them the opposite.) I know his feelings were genuine because I was the one who pointed out that pic in the first place, but he really did over-react. An easter egg is different from a clue. And it wasn't even that. It was a coincidence, which makes me feel even more sorry for Bob for the whole rant. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  11. I like the easter eggs in Pictures. (The reference to Hinkley's Prison Riot with the vig kill was priceless! )I don't see why the visual cues and Easter eggs should go. Only idiots think the Host will intionally give away the identities if the PRs and Scum team! A host's intent is to make a fun, fair game and those who think that a Host will abandon that number one objective are kidding themselves. I understand completely why Bob repeated himself to clarify that it was a joke, and I disagree with Flipz's decision to release his fury mid-game. I understand his frustration, but his actions were uncalled for. However, I thought that much of the rage was merely a gambit to influence the players. The scum may have had a chance had Flipz not outed them, but with their names out in the public and 2 investigators, there was little chance that they'd really win, so with the game's balance somewhat comprimised it does make sense for the Host to reboot. Pictures make these games more fun, and jokes make them funny! Neither should be removed! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  12. I didn't know this was here! And to think I just sent him a PM Happy Birthday Dragonator! Something something Dragons! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  13. Welcome to the club Pythor, and good job choosing the name of the most bad-megablocks charactor in the Ninjago line! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  14. Yeah, After a bit of grocking, you might be right. We can all discuss our feelings afterwards I guess. That having been said, If it's too much like the last game's settup, those who were scum or special would have something of an unfair advantage. I'm really sorry that this is happening to you. You've got some tough decisions to make. Also, I'm sorry for even thinking you were trying to affect Flipz's roleclaim when you pointed out that it was a joke (although it would have been pretty dumb for many people to believe the claim which was based off of a picture.) I am however surprised about the unintentional Easter egg picture. It'd be just so hysterical if it weren't so tragic! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  15. Welcome, from one Spider to another! I am of the opinion that this is the best Lego related Forum around, and I'm sure you'll have a blast! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  16. "I'm not entirely sure that matters," Said Sylph to his goddess.
  17. Yeah, I would love to discuss the game, as it's sort of unresolved. Well not just sort of. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  18. "We choose Durkon." (Ooc: Lovely mausoleum Bricksandparts. )
  19. Oh my goodness! Allot has happened since last time I checked in! This is quite confusing, but I think the obvious choice is to Lynch Jones and see if he's scum! It's worth a shot, at least just to clarify all this crazy roleclaiming! If he ends up actually being this role which he claims to be, then we can run from there with information gathered today, and we won't have lost a very useful or important role anyways. Vote: Zachary Jones (Flipz) As far as this neutral cop business goes, Townies have no reason to lie, and this smells like a lie. And even if it isn't, he's not loyal if he's neutral, and he could easily become a liability and cut a deal with the scum, which they would, honestly, be stupid to take since he's been outed . In my opinion, he's a logical next step if Jones shows up as scum, and maybe, excluding any other leads, even if he doesn't.
  20. I think we have, but I won't speak for the others.
  21. "I've had worse. Let's get on with it."
  22. Huh, I didn't watch those Holo-vids very carefully. Infection was just before my time, and Bloodbrick got confusing with all the medicines.
  23. I agree, has there ever been a case where the scum take turns killing? It doesn't sound all that likely to me. I'd be more worried of the possibility that the scum have a watcher.
  24. Wow, no scum kill, and the Vig took out a scum, and we have a probable lead on the remaining scum! Things are looking up! (and, take that Francis, the vig got a scum! ) The only thing that could dampen my mood is this killer headache I woke up with this morning. I find this "continue blocking the killer" idea an interesting one. Unless the scum figure out who the blocker is, we could ensure that they can't use their night kill, because if we Lynch the probable killer, the kill would most likely be passed on to another member of the scum team, putting us in the position of dealing with a scum night kill every night. Good thinking!
