  1. "As a cleric, I agree with you. We'll open the middle one, as there is no possibility of that one being both the tonic and potion powder, but a 50-50 chance that it's the potion."
  2. "The middle one, though any'll do. Is there any particular crate that is less important than the others? We'll open up that one."
  3. "Fine, my test does not rely on that though. My theory relies on the fact that no one crate is correctly labeled. There are only 6 possible combinations that can be made with 3 variables: (RG is now B for both): RBG (the original) GRB GBR BGR BRG RGB RBG Those in green are the only combinations to which there are no matches (also, they are the same as those I previously listed.) Are you convinced?"
  4. Seems easy enough. Sylph, having regarded the situation and conferred with the team, turned to face Sam. "Well, my friend, I have devised an easy test to determine the correct contents of each crate. You said that one crate was shifted to the opposite side. There are only two solutions to which crate contains which. The original pattern is R, RG, G (tonic, tonic+potion, potion) but it is now either RG, G, R, if the R was shifted to the reverse side, or G, R, RG, if the G was. We now simply have to open one crate, say, the middle one, and if the middle one, marked RG is G, then the real RG is to its left, and the R to its right. But if the middle one shows up R, then G is to its left, and RG to its right. Understood? If so, I'll have my lovely assistant Durkonette lift the middle box's lid."
  5. Those who haven't voted yet really should. The penalty votes make things uneven, and we really aught not to work under such conditions. It doesn't matter who you vote for, 2 people won't change anything, but please, do vote. Also, with Shock Ti effectively gone, should we discuss who her Scummy palls are?
  6. So, you're saying the order they should be in follows the pattern of the labels, but one crate was on the opposite end. So it should be T, TH, H, but instead it's either TH, H, T or H, T, TH. Easy. You didn't accidentally, I don't know... Flip them too? Could you have? If you didn't then it's very easy to determine which is which, and we'll have your clerical error fixed up in a jiffy, but if you did, Nature forbid, flip the crates, then that gives us a whole other 2 possibilities. Answer me and I'll know which Crate's top to lift. No opening! We won't get the goods if you open all the tops!
  7. Ha! In your dreams! Face it, you're stuck with me like gum to a tire! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  8. "Ha! Durkon, you and your nose come in handy sometimes! Do take a whif of that and I'll see if I can get some clarification from Sam." Turning to Sam, he asked, "You say, you shifted them. Does that mean that they will follow the same pattern dictated by the labels, but just off from the labels by 1 or 2 boxes, or do you just label things haphazardly.?"
  9. "Well, at least you labeled them this time! " (I'll be back in maybe 4 hrs to help if you haven't figured it out by then.)
  10. No, if Coryn's wrong about this, he's scum, but I highly, highly, highly doubt that he's wrong about this. There's way too much at play for him to have made it all up.
  11. But if you show up town, then we'll know he's scum. Yor counter-argument depends on yourself being scum! No, I don't think you'll need to.
  12. If anyone else had said this, it wouldn't have sounded half as dirty. Yes, but active doesn't mean sensical. Her argument yesterday seemed half-baked at best, and as soon as Nadar Vebb realized that the argument was distracting others from the Lynch of Monn, and said that, in that light, the argument was suspicious, she heel-face-turned and got on the bandwagon of Monn. (Although she failed to vote for him, but it didn't matter at the time, and she likely would have voted for him anyways.) Her argument today is that Coryn is scum because Monn showed up janitored. The problem with basing an argument against Coryn on the janitoring of those who were lynched by a band-wagon mostly following Coryn, is apparent if you look at who was janitored and when. When it was most critical for broad trust in Coryn, C-3PO showed up Janitored. If he had showed up town, he easily could have passed it off as the fault of Zane, or any number of other excuses. He wasn't in jeapordy of being Lynched if C-3PO showed up town, but he would have had the Town's utmost respect and trust, had C-3PO shown up Sith. The following day, when we followed his and other players' suspicions against Euna, in a vote that was, in some part, to determine whether Coryn could be trusted or not, and whether C-3PO was scum, Euna showed up Town. Had she been janitored, Coryn would have the ability to say that all the scum are being janitored, therefore gaining the town's trust, and making us all believe that both Euna and C-3PO were Scum, and then lead the Town to it's defeat. Then, today we found that the object of our Lynch yesterday, Volvif Monn, wad been Janitored. Superficially, it may look like "he was Town" and that Coryn had obfuscated the results so that we would all believe he was scum, therefore being a scum himself. However, in order to believe that, one must ignore the previous day's results! Surely, had this been Coryn's intention, he would have janitored Euna! If he had, we'd all be eating from his palm right now! But instead, there's the potential for massive doubt as to his loyalty to the Town. The Janitoring patterns seem to point to a framing of Coryn, as opposed to perpetration by Coryn. Another thing. By stating that this Vote is substantiated by a Role-cop, a role that, at least to my knowledge, cannot be tricked, or insane, Cotyn has made a very bold move. A scum would never make a move that bold. He will be held directly responsible should she turn up Town, and even if he was sure he'd win tonight, he still would not for fear of some variable not going according to plan. It makes full sense for such a role to be withheld from the general knowledge. That way, the scum won't know what's hit 'em! Vote: Shaak Ti (Flare) Sayonara Scumbag! And if I'm wrong, remind me to never play poker with Tammo... Ever.
  13. Aren't you happy we found out you had squaters neighbors? It wouldn't have taken so long if Durkon hadn't fallen into a trap door and turn himself into a raabbit, then a girl. What's the task?
  14. "I'm sure that makes him (her) feel better. " Jests Sylph at the guard. "So, Sam, do you know of a gender swap potion, or a 'become a boy' potion?" Sylph demanded of Sam in a pleasant manner. "Also," He started, his tone changing to annoyance, "Were you the last person to use the potions? If you were, you really aught to label the potions."
  15. "Ok, We're definitely not taking Durkonette back to Heroica." "Hmmm. With no recipe, I suppose I could... Or we could, just spitball ideas. I suppose three ingredients makes most common potions, and while I've never made one, I suspect it shouldn't fall to far from the mold. Or we could go back to Sam and maybe he'll know how to make to potion. What do y'all say? Should we give it a burl?"
  16. Do you have a specific order in mind?
  17. I didn't start the fire! Sssh! Never admitt to lazyness! Say it was a joke and no one will find out! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  18. Wrong! And I have logic to back me up, as opposed to just trust! Coryn is not scum, because Obi-Wan got killed last night! Why does this make sense you might ask? Because Coryn knows who the PRs are. Still confused? Last night I talked with Obi-Wan bacause both of us were worried we'd be killed in the night. (turns out he was right! ) He suspected that he would be killed because his argument with Vebb yesterday made the scum suspect that he was a PR, which was a feasible conclusion. He said: (Note: My whole conversation with him started well after the 24 hour period during which night actions were to be sent. Also, this quote is uneditted, this is the exact quote to which I was refering earlier.) Because Coryn knows who the PRs are, there would be no reason for him to kill Obi-Wan. He was vocal, but trusting of Coryn. I don't think it's feasible that Coryn was worried he might catch on to anything, become a leader of the town (sorry Obi's ghost ), or stop him from offing more townies, if he was scum. Also, while you and your scummy palls may be doing "Terrible" we, the Townies are not. I'm confident we Lynched a scum yesterday, and we will again today leaving only one more, and the SK to deal with, I suspect. It'll be 2 against 9 assuming two more of us die in the night. Aww, I was hoping for a frantic role claim. No Lynch is an easy Lynch unless you know who the scum are...

  20. Well, over the past few weeks I've looked for all the sales previously mentioned and couldn't find much. The Barnes and Nobles 40% off, from what I can tell was a coupon which expired last November, and the one close to me was sold out anyways (they usually don't have a great supply of legos. (Unlike the Borders which was equidistant from my house )) I did find the target deal, but it wasn't enough incentive to buy it, as I'm hoping to complete the line before I get repeats, and 15% off the big sets isn't spectacular (I don't have a tremendous budget for Lego, so even though it makes 90 into 76.5 or something, I won't be able to get all the rest of the sets if I spend that much on the one. Also, the two targets I've been to aren't selling that one anymore. ). If pressed, I will take advantage of it, but I'm still looking for a better offer. The best deal I found aside from that was at Walmart where they're selling this. I searched online for better deals, but none showed up easily. The Local Lego Store doesn't sell any anymore. I may buy the ED-HQ on amazon with a gift card I have for 50$. If anyone in the US (specifically on the East Coast) finds any good deals on AC, I'd love to hear them. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  21. I bought a ton "for my younger sister's birthday," and they're awesome! She still doesn't like me playing around with them and stealing the pieces, but what she doesn't know won't hurt her! I'm currently looking for a reason to buy "her" the tree-house set. Does anyone know of any sistersday type holidays in the US? There should be more friends-pirates mash up mocs! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  22. No complaints here, I love puzzles! That was fun! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  23. "Now we bring it back to Sam, or we make a cure potion for Durkon. I'll do the latter in a jiffy if we can find a recipe. I should look for one."
  24. Don't kill yourself! Speaking of which.... Am I dead? Am I dead? Am I dead?Am I dead? Am I dead?......? .....? ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  25. "Ha! I told you, I excel in this field. Are there instructions for a gender-swap potion in the book, or any of the books we found in the other room? Before I check that out though, I will label the ingredients we know. If I can't find a recipe, we could always just leave Durkonette that way until she reverts to her original form... If she reverts. I personally would like to find a potion that transforms it's drinker into a toad. I was working on one before I joined Heroica, but had come to a dead end without the input of other... similarly minded artists. Of course, we are on a quest and this is not a time for a personal field day. "
