Wow, If we'd played that out, the scum would have killed themselves before day 4.
-
Yes, but I unofficially converted/confused-the-hell-out-of-him. Remember?
-
Oh wow, so it was all the scum from V.1.
-
Just like I knew that Scuba was Scum day one.
-
Damn, and I was going to vote you off! I feel like Anakin at the end of Revenge of the Sith now.
-
If anyone cares, I was scum in the little dead game we almost played.
-
Yay! I win! Haha! I'm the retarded head with the grey hat! Spectating was fun, and the crazys in the dead thread made the game spectacular! It's a shame I couldn't pay attention to the game for the past week, but it was fun regardless! ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Heroica RPG - Quest #43: Protect My Brother

"Ah the chase begins. I agree someone should speak to the professor, but not all of us--for fear of losing Nuitan. I will go speak with the professor, accompanied by Dak. He seems light on his feet, and his relationship with the Shadeaux may make our inquiry seem less sinister. Johon, and Nur, follow the boy. Leave some faint form of message by which we can track you should you move too quickly for us to readily follow you. Broken twigs should suffice." -
Heroica RPG - Quest #43: Protect My Brother

Sylph moved into the thin light of the fire. He spoke. "I do understand the benefit obscuring our identities could afford us, but with a group our size and with the equipment we carry, a change of identity may be too difficult to muster. A more practical plan would be to obscure our objective. Should we need to interfere in the children's affairs, they might more readily believe we are Heroes on a mission to slay some manner of forest borne evil, or to rescue a kidnapped prince hidden in a near by dungeon, and that we had been tracking who we thought were enemies, but who really turned out to be the boys. That being said, I do not anticipate such unfortunate developments as would warrant misleading our mark. I do however applaud your preparedness. Speaking of which, I thank you for offering me several of your scrolls. I shall take the Scroll of Sleep, Scroll of Blindness, a Scroll of Sealings, and the Scroll of Confusion. Those which Nur did not." Sylph turned his attention to the pale woman. "Have no fear madam, we will do all in our power to prevent any ill from befalling your brother." -
Yes, and I suggested he use one as a companion like Sylph's, or make himself an anthropomorphic bat or a bat turned into a human or something. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Sylph rose abruptly. The other Druid had entered the hall, and something in her demeanor had changed. Her appearance was that of a pained animal. The iron-helmed Druid cast his gaze upon Ellaria, but it was not returned in the flurry of well-battled heroes swarming around her like flies on a wound. Sylph's gaze lingered for a moment longer, and then turned, his camouflaged cape flowing behind him. He stalked to the Quest Board, noticing a few new papers hanging. As he drew nearer, he saw one offered by the Shadeaux. Quickly he signed up for Quest 43, hoping for a chance to work for the traders.

Heroica RPG - First Anniversary Lottery

Sylph was aroused from his feigned slumber by the shouts and applause of the members of the Hall. "what's this?" he mumbled groggily. "Ah, a festival of sorts, honoring the passing of the old year. I see no reason not to sign up for the raffle." "Why are you talking to yourself?" asks someone. -
I get it, I need to look back and make sure my facts are right before saying things! Speaking of which, Quest 25 was actually 4 months long. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

That's definitely a coincidence. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Wow, Quest 30 is one page from surpassing Quest 25 as the longest quest to date I think! they're currently tied at 73 pages. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Ooops, I meant to post that here. My comment has been removed from the hall, replaced with "in-character chatter". You're right. Maybe Quest 25 just felt like the longest. Frequent breaks, players disappearing, and a total of less than ten battles over the course of 73 pages (and 4 months... I think, with about 1-3 posts per day during active periods) definitely confused me. Not that I didn't like the hosting or the attempts at complex battles, but the quest was over a long time before it was cancelled. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Sylph shifted in his chair and watched the new comers depart for their quest, intrigued by the sudden influx of mystery shrouded identities.

Sylph Also signs up for guest 41.

"Ah, a new quest." Muttered Sylph as he removed himself from the table. Sylph signed up for Quest 40.
-

It means I died. ~Insectoid Aristocrat -
The door to the hall slamed open, the wind blasting through, Sylph Solanum, a leaf behind the gust. Descending upon a chair, he leaned his crooked staff with its dangling pot of herbs against the table. He ordered a cup of water and droped a purifying leaf in it, as well as several others of less common knowledge. He then tilted his head as if to explicitly inform those watching him he was asleep. "Excuse me," interrupted a familiar, grating, and somewhat-more-masculine-than-remembered voice. "Durkon," grunted Sylph. "It's me. Sure feels good to be back in my own body again." She He said, grinning. "I imagine it does." mumbled sylph, uninterestedly. "So, I owed you twenty five gold...." "And you still do." "Not any more." Retorted Durkhon, confidently, holding out a small satchel filled with coins. "Ah, wonderful. Thank you." "You're welcome." replied Durkon, still hovering above his shoulder. "Are we done here?" "That about settles it." replied Durkon. "Good." "Good." "Drink this." said Sylph, pointing at his concoction. "Really?" "No, it's mine. Scram."
