Main Street Mafia: Conclusion
Dannylonglegs replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Haha, yeah, it'it's kind of an inside joke between Bob and myself because my very first game where i was also the SK, I started doing this, and it just kinda stuck. I do this regardless of my role now. Yup, the bolded name is meant to indicate the recipient of my action. I never even said "target x." I just sent Bob poems. Of course the metaphor in the last poem indicates that Ace is scum, which, unfortunately was not the case. Sad to see a metaphor wasted. ~Insectoid Aristocrat- 66 replies

Main Street Mafia: Conclusion

http://33.media.tumb...1sdudny_500.gif Yeah, I appeared Pro-Town because I pretty much was. I wanted to make a big show of it day 1 to ensure I was beyond reproach later on, and then it became actually real. Oh, and if anyone's curious, here are the two poems I devised: 1. *sips from a glass of a fine Chianti* Tonight is a good night methinks For merriment and sausage links But someone won't try it 'Cause she's on a diet And being a vegan, she stinks I drink the wine in front of me no prohibition for E. B. I'll slice through Jluck's neck and the town will say "Heck!" but I'll get away off Scott free! (Before you judge, note that I'm a vegetarian irl ) 2. While the cat's away the mice will play But soon this dog will have his day It's such a pity that Ace, poor kitty will soon be absent from my city. The young detective's a tad defective but still refused to be lynched elective Behind the scenes, a neutral means I'll serve his liver with Fava beans! ~Insectoid Aristocrat- 66 replies

Location: G07 Tags: Science, Exploration, Vehicles Earlier, on H05. //"Log date 317, this is Dr. Danielle Long, Recording from the surface of Planet H05. My second day on this miserable planet has been much more eventful than the first. After receiving a transmission from one of our Engineers, Big Z, as the crew calls him, I was able to devise a method by which a prospector on this planet might reliably discover Awesomnium without the use of our advanced detector technology. The key to finding sub-surface deposits of Awesomnium is a very distinctive "bush." Found planet-wide, this bush only grows in Awesomnium rich soil. I've gathered several specimens for research aboard the O.C.S. Axle, and tested the surrounding soil with Sc119, or as the crew calls it: Hound. I'll be returning to Orbit shortly. Dr. Long signing off."// Conclusions Drawn --------------------------- Later, aboard the O.C.S. Axle. "Greetings, Comrade." "Greetings, Danielle. Have you gotten a chance to look over my Science Outpost request? I've detected very promising readings from a sector on the Northern Pole of H05." "I did review your work. Excellent adherence to protocol. We did send out a scouting mission lead by Horsleben, and work is underway for a permanent mining facility to be installed... however your request is being denied." "Wait... but why? I'm fully capable of working planet-side on this." "I know you are... but we're needed elsewhere. The Axle always follows the primary fleet... and the fleet is moving out." "You mean...?" "Yes. Domination has been achieved. H05 is ours. Now we begin firming our control over the nearby planets." "So... Where does this leave me?" "We will be needing a lab on G07 to test the water there for potability, in addition to performing routine environmental studies. This will be your new assignment. Go over the plans with Big Z. He's disembarking from the Axle shortly. I'm sure you'll have much to discuss." "So, Octan's reach is extending. Excellent." "You know what they say: Kawashita thinks red is the color of domination, and MANTIS thinks green is. They're both right!" --------------------------- Later still, on G07: //"Log date 322, this is Dr. Danielle Long. Preliminary reports from Hennigan II show bountiful water resources, but inedible biomass. This will have to be researched. Samples collected. Etc. I have my drones working on that now. There are more pressing matters, however. One of our explorers has reported an... "Unknown Artifact..." which is Octan code for a really interesting anomaly... Potentially produced by highly intelligent non-human lifeforms. That's why we send the explorers out first. They have a knack for picking up on interesting finds. Some say it's fate, or luck, but I don't believe in any of that. I will be inspecting this report, and employing the assistance of an explorer by the name of Jacques LaRose, one of my fellow executives. I've dispatched an Sc212 drone to locate him. Shouldn't be too hard. Dr. Long out."// Arial Observation and Personnel Location --------------------------- //"This is Dr. Danielle Long: Status update: In transit to location of G07 anomaly aboard one of our Scientific Personnel and Equipment Transporters. None of the hostile "butterfly"-like lifeforms have been observed, however I have noted several large arthropoidal creatures camouflaged in the grasses. They appear bovine and docile. We should be arriving at our destination soon."// Take Me to the River Take Me to the River Take Me to the River Out Standing in Her Field Sorry for the multiple Vigs. I got a bit carried away. Also sorry for the mediocre pictures of the centerpiece carrier craft. I didn't have much time, but I'll upload better ones later... probably too late for the judging, mais c'est la vie. Updated with some better pics. ~Dr. Long

Main Street Mafia: Conclusion
Dannylonglegs replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Sorry for killing you! I really did think you were scum... and I figured that since you wouldn't be around anyways... Yeah, I agree! Mafia needs some new blood! Fresh blood! Lot and lots of blood! Frontpaging games helps certainly. That's how I found out about Prohibition, after all.... and then I found out that they didn't do that for every game, and I missed like ten or twenty before I played again. Also, Sorry Jluck. you were just too Townie to live.... but that wasn't actually why I killed you... I killed you because you were a vegitarian! +1 points to me for Roleplaying! yeah, but sorry still though. ~Insectoid Aristocrat- 66 replies

Main Street Mafia: Conclusion
Dannylonglegs replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
What wonderful Poetry! Two wins! Two Bob games! Two times his SK! Alright! My one balance thought would have to be: Yeah, it was Suuuuuuuuper easy for me to win. That's my only complaint. I probably could have come out at the end of day 1. Also there's only a fifty fifty chance I should get killed at night. I didn't tell that to anyone I claimed to, because I thought they wouldn't believe me. I don't think winning as SK should be nearly impossible, as Def suggested in the Deadboard, but do think it should be harder than this. Whatever the win condition was for Prohibition was much better. In that game I had to be like one of the last 5 or something tricky like that.... Not that I'm complaining! Glad to be back! Thank you, TPRU for being one of the best Town leaders to which I've ever born witness. Bravo! Also, lovely pictures, Bob! And the commentary was snarky and delightful! Definitely not sucks! Role info: And of course I did the Poetry... Although it only happened twice. It was I. Aww. That sounds like it would have been fun. Sorry you got a low turnout. ~Insectoid Aristocrat- 66 replies

Ah! Excellent MoC! Gorgeous lab equiptment! The microscope (and slides/petri dishes! NPU!), The hotplates (with clamp!) Are all stellar! And I love the use of the Explorien Alien Fossils! Your flagrant disregard for lab protocol on the other hand seems to just keep ruining your lab equiptment and killing our competitive intelligence agents your lab assistants! ~Insectoid Aristocrat

This is a lovely build! Clean and smooth, and perfectly coloured! The round tiles work perfectly for the Lava, and the cave with the alien inside is simply lovely! Excellent work!... Although it is funny that her hair is still so perfect. That's good old Octan hairspray for you. As they say, "Not rain, nor sleet, nor snow, nor digestion and firey inferno can put a dent in Octan hairspray. For hairspray lasting more than 4 hours, please contact a licenced Octan physician." I agree that having more than 4 scum would be odd in this circumstance, but we can't ignore the (slim) possibility we're wrong with Ann, and there's still another scum hiding out there, so unless Bob says "conclusion posted shortly," let's not slack off. I miss you all already! http://www.cinemablend.com/images/sections/64283/hannibal_64283.jpg

Heroica RPG - Quest #134: The Sky Is Falling
Dannylonglegs replied to Endgame's topic in The Heroica Archive
A rumbling growl could be heard faintly beneath Sylph's well-worn Helmet. "Your actions betray your hypocrisy. Only a human, arrogant and flawed... poluted... by self-love, would be so senselessly cruel to that trapped creature you Have captured. Only one who's altruism is tainted by scheming and narcissism would stoop this low. You are not a guardian of nature! You are a coward! You are not a villian... you are merely an imbecile in a costume dedicated to a cause too complex for your purile mind to understand. Of course you would pretend some affinity for that ancient spirit... but you would be wrong to do so. The Dark Druid has been gone from those woods for a long, long time... his passing at the hand of Heroica long since forgotten by most... and that is for the best. The part he played in that ancient battle resulted in only more destruction... Destruction he would have loathed to see. Sylvania's way is death to the old, and life to the young. Sylvania's way is that of Predator and Prey... but the senseless destruction wrought by this ancient leviathan of the sky is not her way. The introduction of such a mighty predator into an environment that cannot sustain it is the exact opposite of her way... it'it's what I've always sought to prevent... this dragon will destroy the forest more efficiently the humans will be able to for some time yet... and yet you pay fealty to it. You... you are not worthy of the title Druid." OoC:
