Alright, well, colour me surprised that Ace was a Townie. Excellent that Russel was scum, although it got pretty obvious at the end... so... who's next? Eric? Anyone have any other insight into who the remaining scumbo may be?

Heroica RPG - Quest #134: The Sky Is Falling
Dannylonglegs replied to Endgame's topic in The Heroica Archive
Sylph turned to the party. "Nevermind... That was... Worth a shot I guess..." OoC: yes, even mysterious cloaked figures can make megablocks out of themselves if they try hard enough. Sylph turned back to the Direwolves. "Sorry about that.... But that only confirms my suspicions. Something is wrong in this forest... and the cultist is not behind it... So... Let me restart... What has gone so horribly wrong with this forest? Why have you outhunted the birds and snakes, and why have you eaten the human's crops? What has changed?" -

Sylph stepped forward, his ragged cape billowing around him like a curtain does before an opened window. Sylph raised a hand to his party, signalling them to stand down. He turned briefly to them, and said: "I think the lead-wolf has mistaken me for Savato." "Direwolves!" Spoke Sylph in a commanding voice in the language of the forest beasts "I, Savato, do indeed know these humans. I need them alive for now. They are an integral part of my plans... but when I am finished with them, they are yours to devour." OoC: Rolls bluff check... -

"You're right." Stated Sylph to the bird. "Even as... misguided as Savato may be... he is still a disciple of Sylvania... We do not destroy forests lightly." OoC: assume Sylph translates everything the bird says. Excellent work. Let's head north into the deep forest. -

Actually, if you go into full editor mode, you can.... or at least I've been able too. it helps if you're on an actual computer, and not a phone. ~Insectoid Aristocrat -

***DATA TRANSFER--Sc106 DRONE SPECIFICATIONS*** 1. Console and Shell. 2. Console interior (engine, specimen collection pods, etc...) ***DATA TRANSFER COMPLETE*** In case you want to include my simple Octan Science specimen collection and environmental analysis Drone in your Mocs. They're a bit front heavy, so they'll need to be anchored to the build if you wish to portray them hovering. When not active, the trans-light blue studs on the bottom two panels should be absent, as they are part of the hovering mechanism. Variations are welcome, and if they're different enough from my version, you can give them another name! (Sc1##) ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Oh man! What a lovely MOC! All the details are superb! Your Yellow Brick Road is flawless too! I could see that being what inspired the MOC! ~Insectoid Aristocrat

I just went over the Planets and Player's sheet... and now I have a question. Since domination points are granted on Homeworld planets.... would it be possible to wipe an entire faction off the map?! Also, Bob, could you provide a link to the interactive Map on that page? It would make getting to the map from an android device easier! Awesome first round! The hosts deserve many applause! ~Insectoid Aristocrat -
Heroica RPG - Quest #134: The Sky Is Falling
Dannylonglegs replied to Endgame's topic in The Heroica Archive
"No shame in educating yourself." Stated Sylph in a pleasant tone. A sharp dichotomy from his previous rage. He then sounded doleful. "The more you know about how this world works... the better prepared you are to tackle its challenges. Knowledge is power, Miss Anavar." Sylph looked the timid knight over. She seemed exhausted from their ordeals. "I can lead the party for you for a while if you need to de-stress." He stated sympathetically. OoC: See ya! -

"No." Stated Sylph bluntly and grimly. "No. This Suppliant is no kin of mine. I have no kin anymore.... And if his hands were those to flatten the forest... then soon his kin will not have him." He stopped then, seemingly thinking. "A true admirer of Sylvania would collaborate with us to root out the infection in this forest. This being only cares for himself..." -

"Does that fool even know who he's dealing with?!" raged Sylph, surprisingly, in a deep, almost inhuman voice. Regaining his posture, Sylph looked around and at the bomb, only to find that the party leader had already discovered a solution. "Good work, Leader." He stated in a neutral tone. His voice seemed drained. "You're quite the intelligent individual." -
I think you're just tired. I voted for Ace first thing when the day started because I wanted to get my primary suspect out in the spotlight! I guess that didn't work though, and it's back to a match between Russel and Eric! so much for testing my (and poor Pamela's) suspicions today. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe never. Maybe I'm wrong. Who knows anything in this topsy turvy game of life? Get some rest, pal. About damn time! I can't believe anyone still thinks Sarah's scum! What scum in their right mind would try to buss a fellow scum on day 1?! Especially when one of their own is on the frying pan?! Well sorry for paying attention to events and trying to root out the scum, mate! but yeah, I reckon it is time I weighed in on the two way split between two bandwagon hoppers. I'm going to Unvote: Ace (Kintobor) for the third (fourth) time, and Vote: Russel (Sandy), if for no other reason than to put him out of his misery as a two day lynch candidate. I do believe there's a good chance he's scum. The argument against him's sound (I should know, I made it yesterday too.) And there seems to be no better alternative. If we have nothing better to go on tomorrow, I wouldn't be averse to trying Eric too, if Russel shows up town. Hopefully we have more to go on tomorrow though. We seem to be breathing stale air into our arguments lately. If i get a chance I'll put more thought onto the lynch when I finish preparing food for the dinner rush at Chez Albert. Tonight's special is Rabbit that should have hopped faster.

Like in a weekly build. Your character can decide to change his name in one build, and then you can probably ask a mod to change your info for you. Same with the figure itself. If your character gets a new helmet in a weekly build, then you can change your picture to reflect that. If your character gets a nasty scar, you can change your picture to reflect that. If your character becomes a cyborg, or half-alien, you can change your picture to reflect that. I'm sure the Mods would be willing to update your picture for you if you ask. Same goes for your character's name. Perhaps this character has been undercover in another identity, and you make a dramatic reveal in one of your builds. It can be whatever you want, I'm sure. Also, I've used 2 different faces for my character already, and will likely use more to reflect mood and environment. ~Insectoid Aristocrat -

I don't see any reason why you couldn't just do that with role play in your builds? It doesn't have any game-effect apart from being a cosmetic change. I know I'm going to show my character in a variety of outfits (and not outfits) over the course of this game, so unless you're fundamentaly changing the character, I don't see why you'd need to sacrifice your hard earned money for that. ~Insectoid Aristocrat -

Thanks for the fixed sigfig, Bob! I have a question on the new rules: can a build have multiple tags? If I feel like my build could represent both science and exploration, can I tag both? If I do so, could I benefit from both tags? If, for instance, Octan goes down a tech tree that provides a benefit for exploration builds, and I create a MOC than would work for both, can I get a the bonus from both my job and that Corporation bonus? Furthermore, what if someone tags a build improperly, like, tags a helipad-outfitted building as a pilot build, even though it lacks a vessel, and would instead be an Engineer build? Thanks! ~Insectoid Aristocrat -
oh, hey, I had a question: what peice is underneath the saucer top? Is it the one by one brick with 4 studded sides? Curious, because I may want to build a drone like that to assist in Dr. Long's research! ~Insectoid Aristocrat

I've voted for you everyday so far! It has nothing to do with the penalty votes! But seriously, the way I see it, Pamela and I were the only two that have been really focused on you... and now she's dead on a day you also have Penalty votes... so now it's just one voice calling for your lynch instead of the two that could have lynched you on their own. If you were town, I could imagine that at least one scum would call for your lynch, even considering the spotlight (maybe saying "I'll vote X, but Ace is my number 2 suspect, and Ill switch if I feel convinced enough." but nope. I am the only one it seems, who is trying to get you lynched. to be fair, staying quiet is pretty scummy too. But yeah, you sound really defeated here. Kinda how I figure a hounded member of a losing scum team would sound. (As opposed to a hounded member of a winning town.) The day would still go on. The facts are no one buy I has voted for her... and that's making me even more suspicious.

Heroica RPG - Quest #134: The Sky Is Falling

"Savato." Stated Sylph, in a similarly grim deadpan voice. He stepped forward a pace, his tattered brown and green garb billowed sightly from the motion. He gestured widely to the deep forest. "We seek to investigate the fallen star. What do you know of it?..." -
is everyone just ignoring that Russel said "weather"? That's pretty scummy if you ask me... But seriously... this Eric vote smells scummy to me. It happened really fast. I guess he could be Scum though despite the fast lynch, as there are only 2 (or 3) scum now, and they don't have as much clout... That's a really interesting way to interpret what was fairly obviously an apology for getting the names confused... guilty conscience?... I too find it odd that Ace isn't more of a target today... you would think that the scum team would be overjoyed at an easy lynch..... if he was town. As for now my vote stays where it is. This Greg v. Sarah argument going on is interesting. In my opinion, Sarah is pretty much confirmed as Town due to the Day 1 bandwagon, I'm more concerned about Russel, Eric and Ace, at the moment, but I still feel like noting this.
