There maybe, and we should prepare for that scenario, so no slacking, tonight, power roles! But personally, I think we're either at the end now, or one day away.

Heroica RPG - Quest #134: The Sky Is Falling
Dannylonglegs replied to Endgame's topic in The Heroica Archive
A sad throaty growl escaped Sylph's helmet. "I want to hear him say it." He snarled. "This is not Sylvania's way. We do not serve as supplicants to ancient polluted beasts of predation. We strive to heal the sicknesses of this world... not exacerbate them!" -

"Savato!" Shouted Sylph, dramatically striding forward, a hand raised pointing at the antagonistic druid. "What exactly are you planning on doing with that human?!" -
Excellent barge! I06 will soon be ours! And thanks for including a modified version of my drones in your build! Dr. Long will be pleased with the samples she's getting! ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Then the voyeur thing is definitely a lie (not that I had any doubt.) This may be the last day, if the scum started with 4

AG - Introduction and Discussion
Dannylonglegs replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in Andromeda's Gates
I believe he interpretted your saying "and stuff" to mean equipment (http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=98051). The builds are graded after the end of the week (Sunday, 9am, I believe). ~Insectoid Aristocrat -
AG - Introduction and Discussion
Dannylonglegs replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in Andromeda's Gates
yes, you are limited to Planets that are "one move" from a planet your faction dominates. For all factions but Octan, this week, that would be your faction's Homeworld. An interactive Map can be veiwed here: http://bakahomepage.com/EB/AG/map That said, as others have already done, you can depict your character as spying on, or assassinating spies for the other factions. Everyone has spies, after all. There is an item in the technology and equipment topic that DOES let you spy 2 planets away, but it's quite expensive. If you still haven't chosen which faction to join, I hear MANTIS is hiring... ~Insectoid Aristocrat -
Yeah, I think my group only has like 3 competent members/characters. That's usually how it is though. Yes, agreed 10fold. Heroica is such a marvelous game system! You could sell this, Sandy! ~Insectoid Aristocrat

I would not be averse to such activities... I'm a busy person, though, so I'm not sure I could commit to a full champaign. Also, my group meets Sunday night, so that would be out of the question. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

I know exactly what to make of that! Unvote: Louis (jamesn) Vote: Ann (StickFig) Voyeur's a pretty worthless role anyways, even if she's not lying.... which makes it the perfect role for a scumbo like her to make! Ha! I found a fellow Fannibal! I mean, i don't think she's the scum killer, though, because Tammo was so townie. His kill couldn't have been the vig, unless the vig is really of their game... poor Pamela. We shall ne'er forget thee! Also, that was not my kill for two reasons. 1. It couldn't have been because I can only kill every other night, and 2. No way would I kill Pamela. To quote another serial killer, she's just too much fun. So, imo Greg was not the scum killer that night. Doesn't mean she's confirmed town, but Ann's a better bet in this case, I think. *I don't think he is the scum killer, her being Greg. Mixed up the pronouns, sorry. *him nor her. Jeez. Wow. *not

Oh, that jerk? Well, I'm not sure I'm ready to commit to a vote yet. I've kinda been waiting to see if Al has any good leads today, since my last big lead turned out to be one big red herring. I think I'll vote: Louis (jamsn) because he seems to just be posting mostly sheepy stuff. If more information shows up, or I review the day threads and come across another lead, I'd be willing to change my vote. It's not that easy. The scum could have targeted a protected individual. That said, I have confidence that Al is doing behind the scene stuff and if he thinks there was a good block, then I'm sure he'll tell us about it. Also, In case you don't believe my Hannibal quote thing... http://www.imdb.com/...h0422478/quotes I do highly suggest Hannibal. It's a wonderful TV series. Season 3 starts June 4th!

Heroica RPG - Quest #134: The Sky Is Falling
Dannylonglegs replied to Endgame's topic in The Heroica Archive
Sylph translated for the Half-Giant. "Hmm. That is old." Stated Sylph, in reference to the Ranger's tale. "Back when the dragons had yet to master their flaming breath... few still live from that ancient era." Sylph stated, wistfully.... "But you are right. I fear that such an ancient creature would be very difficult to fell... but obviously we must do something. He is warping the natural order of this forest." -
Well, you see, that would be because I am the SK, and according to Bob, I can win with alongside either party. "I just have to survive to the end" It just so happens that the Town is one or two more kills away from winning, so it's painfully obvious which side I should stick with. Yeah, I noticed that too. I don't know why that is, but I'm sure if you asked god about it, publicly or privately, he'd tell you not to look for clues in pictures. That was my kill damnit! Also, I did ask Al's permission first. He had no better target, though, so I stuck with my first choice. I voted for, and killed, Ace because I thought he was scum, and the sooner we finish this, the sooner I can get another win! (as SK, no less, which would be perfect poetry to the very first game I played--a Bob game, no less--where I won as SK by allying myself with a Shadows-run mafia.) So, for the record, I am the SK. I killed Jluck first night because he struck me as fairly townie, and I was hoping to get on the good side of the scum team to pull a win like my first game. (sorry Jluck), but when I saw Shady was scum, I realized which way the wind was blowing. I can only kill every other night, which is why there was no SK kill the previous night. I claimed to Al (I had been planning to already, but he caught me by surprise with his "why did you target me last night" gambit that he pulled yesterday. I didn't target him, but I claimed anyways because I can, and will win with the town. Now, I can't kill tonight, but I hope we can get the last scum (assuming 4 to start with) today and win the game anyways. If the Vig is still alive, he/she hasn't killed for two nights (unless tammo was a vig kill), which makes me kinda the closest thing the Town has to a vig at the moment. But I can't kill every night, so I'm not really that useful this coming night. That said, the Vig could have been killed already, which would suck. Also, if you want proof, I've been sneaking quotes from the hit TV show Hannibal into my posts. Once on Day one, and Once on day 3. I forgot to do so Day 2 'cause I was doing the sausage thing with Tammo. Get it? Because I'm a Serial Killer who cooks fine food?! That is a damn good show. Bryan Fuller really knows what he's doing... but I digress. Also, I'm only claiming publicly because I don't think this hurts the Town or myself in any way. I can't kill tonight, so the scum blocking me (if they have a blocker still) wouldn't hurt the Town in any way, and we have two lynches until a time when I could kill, by which point I certainly hope the game has drawn to a close, and if it hasn't then the scum may use their kill or block on me that night, thereby keeping the Townies alive afterwards, and I'll die for the stupid mistake of claiming right now instead of trying to argue my way out of one vote and a "suspicion" Lovely vote analysis! Much cleaner than mine! I am also not sure I believe that there would be 3 scum on the Sarah banwagon, but I also didn't think there would be two, and I was wrong about that. I'm inclined though, not to vote for Eric today, as he's been investigated, and while there is the possibility that he's the godfather, I'm willing to believe for the time being that he's not. Russel certainly would have fit the bill with all his demanding to get investigated and all. As for who I currently suspect, I lean towards scummy on both Louis and Ann, and I don't have a very confident read on Greg or Chris, even though both have held my suspicions on previous days, right now they're acting like I would expect Townies to. I don't think Wanda or Linda have honestly been paying enough attention to be scum, but they may have just sheeped their way through all the days, successfully flying under radar the whole while. Al, and Sarah I trust to be Town, and Eric just got investigated.

AG - Introduction and Discussion
Dannylonglegs replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in Andromeda's Gates
If you visit your page, and then click "edit" one of the options will be "edit signature." Once you do so, you'll be able to add words and pictures to your "signature" which is what appears below our posts and features our "sigfigs." To get a sigfig, or, signature minifigure, simply make a figure that you wish to be your character, rake a picture of it, post the picture in this thread in a 100by100 pixel format, along with your character's name, affiliation, and job, and an admin (Bob) will add it to the player's list. You can then put the picture of your sigfig in your signature as described above. ~Insectoid Aristocrat -

haha! Excellent! Unfortunately I do not have an LDD for them, as I do not know how to do LDD or even where to download the software. If someone were to link me to it, though, I'm sure I could do it. They're very simple to build, but it's a good effect for little effort, which is good by me. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Hehe, I could easily see it being a vigilante kill. Ace was scumming up the place in my opinion, and avoided getting lynched yesterday despite the penalty votes, and then Russel seemingly bussed him at the end. If I were the vigilante, I would have done the same. Furthermore, wouldn't the scum have prefered to lynch Ace during the day and kill someone not on the chopping board last night? I personally think it's much more likely that the Scum killer got blocked. Unless the scum knew for sure that he was a power role, it wouldn't make sense for them to kill him. It could have been an SK though, if the SK's win condition lets him/her win with the town, acting as a vigilante would serve him/her well Now that we're obviously winning. Also, not sure I personally believe this, but I'm sure I've heard before of the scum killer'killer's death preventing the role from being usable the night after. I definitely think that our protector or blocker was successful last night in preventing a scum kill. It'It's now a matter of figuring out if the block was the key, meaning we have a positive result for scum (or SK if we assume this is the scum kill and we don't have a Vig and the SK killed last night), or if it was the protector who guessed accurately the would-be target. I'd be very interested to hear what Al has to say on the matter. If we play our cards right today or tonight may be our last.

//This is Dr. Danielle Long. Excellent work on the lab. The O.C.S. Axle, while fully equipped to test xenobiological specimens on its own, will be delivering some of our safer and most promising specimens to the primary lab facilities on Homeworld once it gets a change to resupply. Expect them in a few galactic weeks. Also, tell your assistant to put her hair in a bun or ponytail. All lab assistants must follow regulations. We don't want hair in our samples, now do we? Dr. Long out."//

Sylph looked up at the half giant, the strangle little figure cloaked in rust, root, and raw-growth coloured rags, and topped by an ancient battered iron helm barely reaching above the warrior's hips. "I know." He stated plainly. Sylph turned to the Wolves, offering them a final ultimatum; "I am Sylph Solanum, a druid of ancient experience, and these are my companions. We ventured here to right what has gone wrong in the forest. I offer you two options. Stand down and let us fix the food chain, or attack these humans, and by doing so, force my companions to strike back, and kill you. I apologize in advance, should you choose incorrectly."
