Looks pretty good, quite accurate with the movie outfit I must say, but did you intentionally left off the sword holder body strap (scabbard)? And is it just me, or the 'bumpers' look a bit 'distractingly big'?

2011 MOCathalon - Team Eurobricks' round-up
XimenaPaulina replied to SlyOwl's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Excellent job guys! My hats off to all of you (SlyOwl, Matn, Newright, Matthew Maulfair and Infomaniac) for selflessly sharing your time, effort, and resources to come up with top-notch entries for this competition. IMO, it's all about the quality of the entries, not just simply the building MOCs to reach the 'required quantity', and your entries have clearly shown the high level of MOC expertise that all of you have. You did a great job representing Eurobricks and hope this will be something we could build onto for next year's competition. Once again, a job very well done! -
Cheers for another POTC set review! Very well done, all necessary elements have been covered, and certainly gave me a better appreciation of this set. Though honestly, I personally don't find this set as interesting as the others - the horse carriage, wagon, tavern, and even the minifig line-up, is average at best IMO.

The final render looks wonderful! Excellent work noreha! Will definitely look forward with the Tantive IV and the upcoming Republic Frigate comparisons (now that would be a lot work I would assume).

D2C Contest: The Cairo Bazaar
XimenaPaulina replied to Athos's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Very well done entry Athos! This may not be as extravagant as the others, but this is certainly one of the few entries that fit the 'potential LEGO set' look perfectly. I really like the combination of the various elements you've put in here - three mini-buildings/structures to go with the truck, camel, and the minifig line-up - its like the MMV of PQ. Good job and good luck in the contest! -
WIP: City Bridge 1
XimenaPaulina replied to alienwar9's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Yeah that's what I thought so. I just got curious since I always experience having a difficult time rotating a whole assembly together (probably due to wrong choice of pivot point). Anyway, I'm looking foward how this one progresses. -
You sure are on a 'MOCing roll' Etzel, yet another creative build for a CMS4 minifig. The whole vig does exude a peaceful and serene environment for our little Gnome friend's humble abode, especially with the surrounding verdant greeneries and running water. The tree house is very well done and really looks comfy and cozy inside. Great overall work once again!

Uhm, link doesn't work Rinconstar (Flickr: Page Not Found). If you need any help deeplinking photos I'd be glad to help. EDIT: Ok I found the page. Here's how you deeplink photos from flickr: Click on the photo > Right-click on the photo > Choose Medium 640 > Right-click again on the photo > Choose Copy Image Location > Edit your post > Click the Insert Image Icon (), then paste the copied URL to the space, click Insert Image, then your photo will be deeplinked. Hope that helps!

Welcome to Eurobricks Judah! I must say your LDD spaceship designs are really very impressive, hope to see some of these grace the Sci-Fi/LDD subforums. I hope you enjoy the site and see you around!

WIP: City Bridge 1
XimenaPaulina replied to alienwar9's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Amazing job as always with this promising WIP bridge ultra-build alienwar! What's even more amazing is the functional mechanism of this bridge. But wait, do Technic parts work on LDD, I mean you could actually see them functioning (rotating gears, etc) in LDD? (Sorry, it's the ignorant non-Technic guy in me speaking ) -
Lego Force Unleashed dark apprentice decal
XimenaPaulina replied to Jigsaw Killer's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Nicely done Jigsaw, the design is very accurate to Starkiller's outfit. Though I think it would turn out better in waterslide decal. -
Very well done micro-ship Hoexbroe, especially for your first Sci-Fi build. The overall design is really recognizable, from the distinct cab to the cargo, everything is perfectly scaled to micro size. Great work!

The overall build of the stage is really very impressive, from the various details to the clever use of those triangular slopes for a realistic-looking side curtains. The whole stage is simply a great brickbuilt representation of real opera stages. Great job!

I love it! The somehow cartoony and out-of-this-world design really makes this an effective Steampunk creation. The stubbiness of the boxed body coupled with the relatively short wings do give it a pigeon-like overall shape. Very well done TMC!

Yet another marvelous creation ISC! The masterful detailing is what really makes your creations truly wonderful, and this build is another proof of that. Excellent work once again!

Hufflepuff Magus Frankfurt Flashburn versus Gryffindor Magus Ollivander Dippet Round 1 Frankfurt Flashburn l 5 ______________________Ollivander Dippet l 5 High - 0______________________________________Expecto Patronum! - 0 Mid - 1 ______________________________________Sectumsempra - High - 0 Expelliarmus! - 0_______________________________Silencio! - 0 Low - 0______________________________________Expelliarmus! - 0 Stupefy! - 1 __________________________________Mid - 0 Health: 55_____________________________________Health: 3 Two experienced duelists battle each other once again as Gryffindor Magus Ollivander Dippet seeks to be one step closer to become an Auror while Hufflepuff Magus Frankfurt Flashburn begins his climb back to Aurorship after relinquishing the rank to acquire a dueling pet. The Hufflepuff wastes no time and quickly targets his opponent's head, but Ollivander adeptly counters with his Labrador Patronum. The Gryffindor tries to retaliate with a powerful high-arching Sectumsempra, only to be hit with a sneaky body spell from Frankfurt. With his rival feeling the effect of the attack, the Hufflepuff tries to disarm Ollivander with an Expelliarmus, knocking his rival's wand off his hand, but the diminutive Magus manages to catch the wand in mid-air and in one swift motion delivers his own disarming spell. Seizing the opportunity with his weaponless adversary, Ollivander looks to hit Frankfurt on the body, but the Hufflepuff shows tremendous recovery, picking up his wand on the ground and unleashing a stunning Stupefy that surprises the Gryffindor and slams him against the wall. The first round closes as Frankfurt opens a significant lead over his fellow Magus. Will Ollivander pick up the pieces and bounce back in the next round? Send in your Round 2 DSs when ready. -

Let's share our funny interesting photos!
XimenaPaulina replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
@Iz: that full-back tattoo rocks! @dr jones: great mix-&-matching, the minifig does look like he's in a heavy metal rock concert. Well done guys! -
Interesting take on a Renault Magnum, good job on getting the distinct groove in the middle of the body, though I agree the sides are a bit 'edgy' due to the lack of slopes. But nice rendition nonetheless.
-
Etzel, this is simply a wonderful build, the rock formations and black tree are extremely well done! The whole build effectively gives a mood of an impending surprise attack from the werewolf. Great job!
-
Simply amazing creations renewjack! Both the tower and ruins are excellently done and the detailing throughout the build is top-notch! Certainly most impressive job!
-
This is simply the perfect vehicle for the CMS Hazmat guys! The color scheme and overall design really fits the bill. Excellent work mifody!
-
Nicely done entry Saint! The way I see it, and since this is a MOCing competition wherein any way a vehicle is build is welcome, you could always present this one as a beefier version of the standard AT-RT, which I see it is. Also, if you could still enlarge the photos to 800x600, that would make for a better presentation for your entry.

Another nicely done build Alopex! I really like your signature use of those trans-clear pieces for the neon flags and signs.
