Cornelius is right, efullner has every right to post his LDD MOC, whether he did it on half an hour or one week, even if you find it too simple, I think it's too rude to call this spam. And before this becomes a heated discussion, let's stop it and simply move along. It's quite saddening having this type of negativity on a supposed digital representation of a Holy event and a topic with good intentions. efullner, good job on this LDD representation of the Holy Week events - they are quite recognizable and I even see you went out of your way to edit some prints that are not available in LDD. Well done.

Harry Potter: Wizard's Duel - Duelling Club

Gryffindor Student Clen Vierno versus Ravenclaw Practitioner Kestrel Kingfisher SUDDEN DEATH Clen Vierno l 1 ____________________________Kestrel Kingfisher l 1 Protego! - 0___________________________________Stupefy! - 0 Mid - 0 ______________________________________Protego! - 0 Low - 0______________________________________Protego! - 0 Mid - 0_______________________________________Protego! - 0 High - 0 ______________________________________Protego! - 0 Health: 1_____________________________________Health: 1 Three rounds were not enough to determine the victor of this tightly-fought duel, as both duelists square off in a hit-and-win sudden death round. Ravenclaw Kestrel Kingfisher tries to use his spell advantage over his opponent right from the get-go, unleashing his powerful Stupefy in the hopes of ending the match right away and grabbing the victory, but Clen rightfully reads his move and adeptly blocks with a Protego. The Gryffindor then goes on the offensive, firing off a body shot that is deflected by the practitioners shield charm. Clen follows-up with a barage of spells, but neither finds it way through the Ravenclaw's impenetrable defense, with each attack blocked with consecutive Protegos from Kestrel. In a strange ending to this otherwise exciting duel, Kestrel became unusually defensive in the end, and both duelists have to settle for a draw. Result: Draw What an anti-climactic ending. I guess both of you have to settle this in another match. But for now, you may chalk this Draw up in your Duel History. -
Welcome to Eurobricks bartleby451! It's always nice to know teachers using our beloved LEGO as an educational tool, which I know is very effective. Should you have any questions, feel free to ask them here and I'm sure our competent members will be able to help you find the answers.

Photos of Sydney LEGOLAND Aquarium
XimenaPaulina replied to Siegfried's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Lots of great stuff, a non-AFOL friend of mine from Sydney sent me some photos of these a couple of weeks ago, and it's nice to see some more shots of these fantastic builds. I really like that massive LEGO Great White Shark! Thanks for sharing these photos Sieggy! -
Welcome Skiddy, glad to have another LSW fan here in Eurobricks. Enjoy the site and see you around!

Wow, amazing job on further improving your already excellent first version Saint! The SNOT finish of the surface really takes this on a whole different level of aesthetic beauty, and even the other minor but significant modifications you did are quite impressive. Kudos for practicing continuous improvement on this MOC. (Just don't let the cat mess with this thing of beauty).

What a lovely house model, even without the benefit of a reference image, I'd assume it's pretty accurate with the real house. The interiors look very cozy and comfortable too. Impressive work, and looking forward for your next project F0NIX!

Thanks again for sharing this CopMike, your Miniland reviews really gives us the chance to see these models and set-ups on a more closer view. The landing platform, radar dish, and Lambda shuttle are very well done IMO. However I don't like the Battle of Endor set-up, there are something about the bunker, scout troopers in 74-Zs, and the 'flying ewok' that I find a bit off.

Another great review -R8-! Truly top-notch quality. On to the set, I really like this one a lot, I think it's very well designed considering the era it was released (circa '99) - the space shuttle is excellently done relative to the piece count and parts availability at that time. The other supporting elements (launch pad, control station, two mini vehicles, even the minifig line-up) really complement the space shuttle perfectly. Given the chance, I'd also pick this one over the recently-released similar space control set anytime of the day.

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
XimenaPaulina replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Where did you get that photo anyway? Maybe stating the source of the image might shed some light on this mysterious ship. The slight blurriness also doesn't help. From what I can make out of it, it sorta looks like some sort of EU ship(?), thought I may be completely waaay off. -
Considering that the Kimono Girl fig is relatively new, you are the first one I've seen use that head for Queen Amidala, and it does look very accurate (with only additional red spots on each cheek needed, which is quite easy to do even using sharpie).

Excellent review -R8-! Great job on the crystal-clear photos and insightful commentary. With regards to the set, I love the Arctic theme, but what I didn't like about this is the large amount of <insert that tiresome argument> pieces. I really wish TLG will remake this Arctic theme in the near future.

Yep, it has nothing to do with SW LEGO. I don't even know what's the point of this topic?! Anyway, moving this to C&M for the meantime. EDIT: Merging this to the SW Topic.

Gryffindor Student Clen Vierno versus Ravenclaw Practitioner Kestrel Kingfisher Round 3 Clen Vierno l 1 ____________________________Kestrel Kingfisher l 3 Mid - 1_______________________________________High - 0 Protego! - 0 __________________________________Stupefy! - 0 Low - 1______________________________________Mid - 0 High - 0______________________________________High - 0 Low - 0 ______________________________________Protego! - 0 Health: 1_____________________________________Health: 1 With his back against the wall and hanging on for dear life, Gryffindor Clen Vierno desperately opens the decisive round with a lightning-quick body shot that catches Kestrel off-guard and hits him in the torso. The Ravenclaw attempts a retaliatory Stupefy that Clen adeptly blocks with a Protego. Seeing an opening in his opponent's defense, the Gryffindor was able to knock the practitioner off his feet, sending Kestrel stumbling to the ground. The student then jumps to the air and targets the Ravenclaw in the head, only to be countered with a similar high spell from Kestrel. Looking to 'stea'l this duel, Clen once again tries to hit his rival on the leg but the Ravenclaw manages to put up a shield charm just in time, surviving a humiliating meltdown and sending the duel into one final sudden death round. What a miraculous comeback from the very resilient Clen Vierno! We're going into Sudden Death, and let's see who'll make that one important hit. Send in your SD DS. -
Excellent entry AC! I love how highly-detailed this speeder is, and kudos to the 'numbered' presentation of the parts of the speeder. Great job and best of luck in the contest!

Gryffindor Student Clen Vierno versus Ravenclaw Practitioner Kestrel Kingfisher Round 2 Clen Vierno l 4 ____________________________Kestrel Kingfisher l 5 Protego! - 0___________________________________Silencio! - 1 Low - 0 ______________________________________High - 1 High - 1______________________________________Low - 0 Mid - 0_______________________________________Stupefy! - 1 Low - 1 ______________________________________Mid - 0 Health: 1_____________________________________Health: 3 Ravenclaw Kestrel Kingfisher, looking to keep his winning streak alive, immediately begins the second round with a Silencio that catches Clen by surprise and penetrates his shield charm. The Practitioner continues his aggression with another successful high-arching spell that hits the student in the end. With his opponent physically down and probably in confidence too, Kestrel tries to pound further with a low attack, but Clen manages to sneak in a head shot of his own that hits the Ravenclaw. Furious he got hit, Kestrel retaliates with a punishing Stupefy that slams the Gryffindor against the wall. Drawing from the last bit of his strength, Clen then miraculously knocks Kestrel to the ground with a low-sweeping spell. Clen continues to put up a valiant effort against Kestrel, but he's hanging by a thread going to the decisive round.Pls. send in your Round 3 DSs when ready. -

Gryffindor Student Clen Vierno versus Ravenclaw Practitioner Kestrel Kingfisher (recycled image: Kestrel is now a Practitioner) Round 1 Clen Vierno l 5 ____________________________Kestrel Kingfisher l 5 High - 0______________________________________Stupefy! - 1 Protego! - 0 __________________________________High - 0 Mid - 0_______________________________________Mid - 0 Low - 0______________________________________Protego! - 0 Protego! - 0 _________________________________Low - 0 Health: 4_____________________________________Health: 5 Gryffindor Student Clen Vierno is back on the dueling stage looking to avenge his previous loss to Ravenclaw Practitioner Kestrel Kingfisher, who is on a roll with a recent string of victories. Kestrel immediately uses his advantage and unleashes a powerful Stupefy that stuns the Gryffindor. With his opponent momentarily dizzied, the Practitioner continues to pound on Clen, targeting his head with a high-arching spell, but the student manages to defend with a timely Protego. The Gryffindor then goes on the offensive and casts a body shot, which gets countered by a similar spell by Kestrel. Clen follows-up with a low-sweeping spell, but the Ravenclaw blocks the attack with a shield charm. Kestrel tries to get back with the same attack on his rival, only to be deflected by Clen's own Protego. Kestrel continues his mastery over Clen after the first round, but only with a slight lead. Will the Gryffindor reverse his fortunes in the next round? Send in your Round 2 DSs when ready. -
Very good job for your first review RS! As for the set, it looks good with all the playable features incorporated in it, but it just doesn't visually appeal to me unlike the other sets. I'd rate this one average.
-
Another neat review JD, though personally this is one of my least liked sets in the PoTC line, the figs and elements just doesn't appeal to me unlike the other smaller sets.
-
Very nice review Jammie! This is a pretty good small set in the PoTC line IMO. Three great figs and some useful trans parts, not bad at all.

Series 4 Musketeer gets a POTC upgrade
XimenaPaulina replied to Solscud007's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Nice simple upgrade, the sword holder is indeed a neat additional accessory for the musketeer fig. -
Excellent work wooootles! Simply an outstanding modular condominium, I love the conservatively beautiful external architectural design as well as the highly-detailed interiors.

Very nice Seaside Town mookage! The colorful Diner Building is very well done as well as the trans-built water. This is indeed a great start and looking forward how this one will progress.
