Harry Potter: Wizard's Duel - Duelling Club

Gryffindor Student Clen Vierno versus Hufflepuff Magus Okay Turkoglu Round 2 Clen Vierno l 3 ______________________________Okay Turkoglu l 4 Mid - 0______________________________________ Stupefy! - 1 Protego! - 0 __________________________________High - 0 Low - 1______________________________________Mid - 0 High - 0______________________________________Expelliarmus! - 0 Mid - 0 ______________________________________Low - 1 Health: 1_____________________________________Health: 3 After watching Clen vs. Kestrel four times, Okay has learned his opponent's weakness, and unleashes a powerful Stupefy, his opponent's 'weak spot', that once again gets the best of the Gryffindor. With the student stunned, the Magus tries to follow-up with a high-arching spell, but the Clen manages to put up a shield charm just in time. The Gryffindor then sees an opening and surprises Okay with a lightning-quick low spell that knocks the Hufflepuff to the ground. Even if downed to the ground, Okay was able to disarm Clen, and retaliates with his own low-sweeping spell that floors the Gryffindor too. Once again, Clen has his back against the wall going into the decisive round, and it just gets tougher as he'll have to try to turn this around against a more experienced and advanced duelist. You may now send your Round 3 DSs. -

Then why bring back an old issue, striking the text through, where you could have just stopped with your first statement? Clearly, you can't get over it, you wouldn't have brought that up in the first place if you've really moved on. Honestly, I'm completely pissed off. I don't want to confront anybody, especially a "Lady", but bringing up a dead issue, making an 'in-game role-playing' a personal grudge, really irritates me. I've apologized to you after what happened, and still up to this day you constantly bring that issue up?!? Talk about maturity... and sportsmanship. We should be civilized enough to realize it's just a game, and no matter what happens inside it - it's all within the confines of the game. Whatever happens inside the game, stays there. You drop everything after it's all over. That is what mature adult should do. Sorry once again Mods/Admins, I just have to air my side. As long as this girl brings up this immature old issue, I will be here to defend myself. -
MOC: Heavy Haulage (prime mover+trailer)+COMIC
XimenaPaulina replied to Out of Sight's topic in LEGO Town
Very well done Prime Mover truck with trailer OoS! It sure does look like it's up to the huge task of carrying heavy equipment. Great job! -
You're right, thanks for the correction.

Still can't get over it? It's within the game, no personal insult intended, and no need to hold a grudge after months have passed. And clearly you haven't seen other mafia games where more 'be-littling' terms are used (within the context of the game). At the end of the day, it's just a game, and if you carry hard bitter feelings after it, it is no longer my problem. Sorry for this off-topic comment. -
Ah yes, I knew there was something wrong with my content description. Thanks for pointing that out. I'll edit it then.

Gryffindor Student Clen Vierno versus Hufflepuff Magus Okay Turkoglu Round 1 Clen Vierno l 5 ____________________________Okay Turkoglu l 5 High - 1_____________________________________ Low - 0 Protego! - 0 __________________________________Mid - 0 Low - 0______________________________________Expelliarmus! - 0 Mid - 0_______________________________________Mid - 1 High - 0 ______________________________________Stupefy! - 1 Health: 3_____________________________________Health: 4 Two duelists looking to bounce back after recent losses are back in the dueling room, as Hufflepuff Okay Turkoglu continues to trek the road back to Aurorship, while Gryffindor Clen Vierno is still aiming for that elusive first win. The student immediately starts with a lightning-quick head shot that catches the Magus off-guard, drawing first blood in this match. Even if partly dizzied by the attack, Okay fires off a body spell that is blocked by a shield charm from the Gryffindor. The Hufflepuff continues to be aggressive, disarming Clen with an Expelliarmus and then hitting his opponent in the torso. With the student writhing in pain, Okay unleashes a powerful Stupefy that stuns him and deals him more damage, as the opening round draws to a close. Nice start by Clen, but Okay uses his distinct spell advantage in the latter portion of the round. It's still a close match nevertheless, and could go either way. Send in your Round 2 DS when ready. -
Mafia School: Fabuland Housewives
XimenaPaulina replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Looks like it's going to be Isla Paradisa Part 2 eh? (only disguised as cute Fabuland creatures) I'm gonna sit this one out, and will just enjoy watching from the sidelines the "Hinckley messes up with the rooks/sophs show". Hope to see more new and promising mafia players joining! -

Excellent masterpiece Erdie! I really like the textured rocky base of the fortress and the effective use of blue slopes for the water waves. Impressive work for a year-long project!

[MOC] Castle of the Squid
XimenaPaulina replied to AppleLEGO's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Very nice combination of those 5 8061 Atlantis sets. Pretty good idea for the modular build for added playability. But where are the figs? -
I think that's the 'mystery' of this contest, people will have varying opinion on what's a good entry or not, whether it's an original concept or a version of a real vehicle. Personally, I would prefer a newly-designed vehicle, but your BARC is already a great-looking model as it is that it's a shame you'd have to modify or scrap it just for an original one. I would suggest that you keep this one for the speeder category, and make something original for the other categories. At least, you'll cover up both the 'original entry' and 'realistic rendition' schools of thought.

I love these custom Smurfs, even if they are still bare and non-detailed. The CMS Gnome's hat is a perfect fit for these smurfs.
-
Very nice presentation of (almost) all the color available for minifig parts. So this swatch is only for those unprinted minifig parts right?
-
Pretty good customs brickarmy! They're all instantly recognizable and nice work on some of the recolored headpieces. Yep, custom minifigs should go in the MCW forum.

Stunningly beautiful creation Blue Dolphin! Looking at it it's as if you really are in Greece. Even if I've not been to Greece and I've only seen it on tv/movies, the buildings are very realistic-looking with it's white color scheme, box-like shape and overall smooth finish. And the water is simply brilliantly done, gotta love the various color shades to indicate depth changes. Simply a lovely work of art, thanks for sharing this with us!

Very unique and highly-interesting space station design Corioso! I'm thoroughly impressed on how you achieved that almost-perfect circle using only basic bricks (carefully tilted slightly). Excellent work, certainly deserving of the contest win!
-
Very good entry darth yogi! It's nice to see your wonderful custom Agen Kolar joining this contest. The AT-RT is well-built too, I'm always happy to see other builders' unique take on this popular SW vehicle, and yours is instantly recognizable and looks good for this contest. Well done and good luck!

Very nice entry, I think it's really a great move to do something that is one of your strengths (BARCs), and even better is you went with aesthetics over accuracy this time - and it does look really good. While 'real' SW vehicles are perfectly acceptable entries, my main concern about this is it may be viewed by the voters as something unoriginal as the other entries which are new and fresh designs. Don't get me wrong, this is a great looking BARC (and one of the better entries so far), but I feel it's a bit safe for a contest entry. But it's up to the voting public on what they think, and you still have two other categories which you could enter something original. BTW, since it's a "Character" Rides Contest, you should put your Obi-Wan character there for technicality's sake. Anyway, great job on this entry and best of luck!

It's nice to see someone following TanoTrooper's signature TT figs, but I gotta be honest with you pal, your photo really needs a lot of work - the blurriness just doesn't give justice to your custom fig. I hope you could fix that one, and pls. do take this criticism constructively. EDIT: The photo size is also an issue, pls. resize it to 800x600 pixels max.

Harry Potter: Wizard's Duel - Duelling Club
XimenaPaulina replied to ADHO15's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Uhm CM, first one to deal damage in the Sudden Death Round wins. So technically, Ms. Fabray should've won. Thanks for the ADJ BTW. Sorry Oky I have to take away the win from you that way.. Anyway great duel too, definitely one of the best I've had in a long time. I would, send your DSs to me. Yes you are, and CF's long absence is a bit unfair to you, so I'm issuing a last call to CF (through PM), if he doesn't respond within 24 hours, he'll forfeit the game and you'll earn the win. -

Patience young padawan.. Pandora is right, recognize the time-zone differences, and even if the sign-up is moved by a few hours or even days, do understand that the host(s) are doing this on their free time and the least we could do for them is to wait patiently and not put any undue pressure on them. -
Pretty good LDD restaurant design Captain Bayonet! The design really have come a long way from the rather basic starting build to this finished product. I like the textured brickwork of the external architecture, and it's nice to see a very busy interior. Though I feel it could use a few more details, especially in the rooftop. Still, nice work!

Flower arrangment Mother's Day
XimenaPaulina replied to persnickety's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
That sure looks a hundred times lovelier than TLG's simple version! Only shame is it has no instructions, and why do I have a feeling that it is illegally constructed (glued).
