4 wide car for Veeborg's contest in KOCKICE LUG
XimenaPaulina replied to Stardusty's topic in Special LEGO Themes
For a mini-car I really like the interesting building techniques you've done here, and the black-lime color combo works for me well. The SNOT base is also a great way to present this mini-MOC. Very good job! -
Amazing! I totally love this Alien Conquest set. The HQ truck really looks one bada$ monster vehicle, and the other elements effectively complement each other (ADU-Alien minifigs, ADU spaceship-Alien UFO). I agree with the others, this is probably one of the best sets of the year because of its 'completeness' and overall great set design. And this certainly adds to the notion that the Alien Conquest theme trumps the other recent Sci-Fi themes (*cough*SP3*cough*). Thanks for sharing this excellent review Final Exit!

Kirkland Krakka's Hound Class Fighter
XimenaPaulina replied to Danthebrick's topic in Watto's Junkyard
Very good entry Dan, I love the very detailed description/backstory and the vehicle itself looks like a great fit for a Transdoshan bounty hunter (reminds me of the Transdoshan hovercrafts shown in the CW series). Very well done and good luck! -
It's nice to know you're expanding your field of expertise to MIDI-scale building now Christopher, and this fleet of cruisers are definitely as high-quality as your mini-builds. Excellent job once again and looking forward for more of these midis.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion
XimenaPaulina replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Agreed on both accounts. I don't see any reason why the series wouldn't bring out the Eta-2s and Alpha-3s. If there's any indication that their appearance is bound to happen, it's the introduction of the ARC-170 since Season 2. As Doc stated, these 3 are the main Republic starfighters in RoTS, and if one has appeared already in the series, it's most likely the other two will follow too. -
Welcome to Eurobricks FabuFabu! Glad to hear you've recently come back to the LEGO hobby, and it's nice to know a 'rare' Fabuland fan joining us. Do enjoy everything this site has to offer, see ya around!

Great! So who'd like to adjudicate for us? -
Thanks for sharing these hi-res pics grogall! It's nice to see these upcoming Cars sets more up-close. The images look like they're printed, but I wouldn't get my hopes too high, as these might just be enhanced photos for purely presentation purposes only. And considering the lead character Lightning McQueen is nicknamed 'Stickers', well you'll know what to expect...

BrickArms 2011: Pack-A-Palooza!
XimenaPaulina replied to the enigma that is badger's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
These are great weapons packs, I particularly like the D.O.G. and the chrome ones. Thanks for sharing this interesting news! -
Excellent mash-up of the X-Wing and the AT-AT Mood! Instantly recognizable hybrid, and even the custom figs are very well done. Great job and best of luck in this contest!

Oh wow, what a fantastic modular building L@go! At first, I honestly didn't expect how the exterior design (which is very well done) can be a scooter dealership shop, but the interiors totally quenched my curiosity as the details inside are simply wonderful and are very realistic with real-life scooter dealer establishments.

Another excellent creation Ralph! Aside from the aesthetic beauty of this build I really like the fact that the wings are actually movable and the cockpit windshield can be opened. Just curious though, is that how the cockpit glass opens (splits) in the real Su-24 Fencer D?

A wonderful HazMat unit frogstudio! I was already impressed with your previous HazMat van before, and it's really nice to see additional elements for this unit. The motorcycle is a good addition, but it's the HazMat detection unit that I really like a lot. Just curious though, I just noticed now that the orange color of the truck is very much different with the HazMat gear color.

A very nice dump truck MOC Allan, the long-nose truck is well done in itself, though I tend to agree with LT that the <insert that tiresome argument> dump pan looks out-of-place with the whole build. Probably a brick-built version of the dump pan?

Threepio finally gets his ride! Wonderful entry kost u grlu! I simply love the overall greebling and the color scheme matches perfectly 3PO. Excellent work, and best of luck in the contest!

For something built with limited parts and pieces this is a pretty good entry. The overall studless look is quite nice as is your custom character. Good job and best of luck!

Interesting build, I do see the Slave I part of it, but not much on the LAAT side, its like 95% Slave I - 5% LAAT. And I feel it has too much going on with regards to the coloring.

Find Yourself by Brad Paisley (from the Cars OST) http://www.youtube.c...h?v=U9PDvwkCCMc I absolutely love this mellow sentimental country song when it was played in the ending credits.

What was the last movie you watched?
XimenaPaulina replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Happy Feet Cars , which I saw for the nth time last night. I will never get tired watching this, I think it's wonderfully done for an animated movie, it has "heart" in the story. Which makes me wonder how will the sequel fare to the original, which will be tough to top IMO. -
Dutch Kennedy's G-41 Speeder Bike
XimenaPaulina replied to Lord Of The Fries's topic in Watto's Junkyard
Nice entry LoTF! An unusual design for a speeder bike, but still interestingly looks good. Good luck in the contest! -
