Wow, amazing mini-scale rendition of Neverland TMC! I love the overall smooth studless look and that subtle and effective use of that curved slope for the waterfall is really very clever. Great job!

[MOC] Monster! Huge Blue Octopus!
XimenaPaulina replied to BadLeo's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Haha, nice one BadLeo! You sure are havin' fun with your fantastic Opera House MOC. Somehow, this huge octopus reminds me of another blue monster. -
Wait a minute, but didn't you enter this MOC before in the D2C Contest? The rules specifically state that entries should be new and never before been published MOCs: As great as this build is, but I'm afraid we have to strictly enforce the rules to be fair to everybody. I hope you understand.

D2C Contest: Temple of Anubis
XimenaPaulina replied to Oky's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
A fantastic entry Oky! The temple looks great, especially with the two giant black statue details in the entrance, and very nice usage of those printed base plates/pieces. Pretty good combination of structure (temple) + vehicles (airplane, motorycle) + minifigs + and supporting elements (animals, tent, etc.). Excellent work overall, and looking forward for more pictures. -
D2C Contest: Atlantis 'Poseidon Tunneller'
XimenaPaulina replied to Willdog's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Nice entry Willdog, the sub and the mech looks good, though I'm not so sure about the 'podium', it's less appealing than the vehciles. Great backstory though, and overall it's a good creation, so I wish you the best in the competition. -
Very nice hazy snow shot Solscud! The first one with the Wampa in the background looks really good!

D2C Contest: Temple Assault
XimenaPaulina replied to unbornchikken's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Very nice entry unborn chicken, pretty good combination of playable features and minifig selection, and that red truck is quite a neat vehicle. Good luck in the contest! -
Very good first review sidersdd! Thanks for sharing this! It's nice to finally see a set from the new Alien Conquest theme reviewed, and this one really looks great IMO - the figs are awesome especially the new alien. Both mini-vehicles are decently made and I'm sure this set will surely be hit for the kids. You really did well for your first one I must say - the quality of the pictures are better than most starting reviews. One thing I could suggest is putting the product info at the start, like this one: Name: 7050 Alien Defender Theme: Alien Conquest Year: 2011 Pieces: Minifigs: 2 Price: And if you want, you can join the Reviewer's Academy, I'm sure you'll learn a lot from there.

Very nice, this looks really good, but do you have larger photos (800x600px max. size) so we could better appreciate this MOC? I really would like to see a closer view of this. Thanks!

Cecilie's Collectable Minifigures vignettes - series 4
XimenaPaulina replied to Cecilie's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Another excellent batch of mini-vigs for the recent CMS 4 minifigs Cecilie! The Hazmat and the Geisha ones are my favorites among these. Great job once again and keep 'em coming for the next series. -
Another excellent custom morgan! If I may ask though, what piece is the helmet horn made of?

Green Lantern Minifigs by tin7_creations
XimenaPaulina replied to tin7_creations's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
So you've decide to make DC customs eh? Hal Jordan is a great start, I'm certainly looking forward for the other Green Lanterns then (the beauty of which is the vast variety of alien creatures). -
Harry Potter: Wizard's Duel - Duelling Club
XimenaPaulina replied to ADHO15's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Thanks, I think I need one. And CT, can we duel after your match with Ron? We haven't dueled yet, and it seems you're the 'hot commodity' here as every duelist is lining up to duel you. -

Hufflepuff Magus Frankfurt Flashburn versus Ravenclaw Adept Kestrel Kingfisher Round 3 Frankfurt Flashburn l 4 _____________________Kestrel Kingfisher l 2 Expeliarmus! - 0______________________________ Stupefy! - 0 Low - 0 _____________________________________Protego! - 0 Mid - 1______________________________________High - 0 Mid - 0_______________________________________Low - 1 Stupefy! - 1 __________________________________High - 0 Health: 3_____________________________________Health: 0 Hufflepuff Frankfurt Flashburn can sense that victory is near, and he aggressively starts the decisive round by disarming Kestrel and targeting the Ravenclaw's legs, but the Adept escapes the attack by casting a shield charm. The Magus then fires up a body shot that hits Kestrel on the mid-area. Even if writhing in pain, the Adept desperately flicks a low-sweeping spell that surprises the Hufflepuff and knocks him to the ground. But Flashburn has had enough, and he unleashes a powerful Stupefy that stuns Kestrel unconscious, finally ending the Ravenclaw's winning streak. Winner: Frankfurt Flashburn! Congratulations CM! Too bad CT your steeak is over, but you could start over another one. You may now update your character profiles accordingly. -
D2C Contest: Ninjago Red Castle
XimenaPaulina replied to ACPin's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Wow, excellent entry AC! The modularity of this ninja castle really complements the overall aesthetic beauty of this build perfectly. The interiors looks great with all the playable features. Impressive work as always! -
Very interesting entry 501st! Not only is it an unusual choice for a SW vehicle, but it looks really good with the overall greeble-detailed look. The shot with the Jawas are funny too. Great job and best of luck!

News Article: The Royal Wedding, LEGO Style
XimenaPaulina replied to Gregorovich's topic in LEGO Town
Funny thing is, while watching the Royal Wedding yesterday, I thought how cool it is to see a LEGO rendition of this momentous event. I knew deep inside some crazy talented builder somewhere out there will be doing this, and my hunch is correct, and this one simply looks as grand and majestic as the actual wedding itself! Very beautiful Westminster Abbey MOC, and the custom figs are very well done too. Thanks for sharing this Gregorovich! Sorry, there's no where to hide, the so-called 'Wedding of the Century' will hug the media limelight for the next few days so bear with it. -
D2C Contest: Colosseum of Atlantis
XimenaPaulina replied to Brick_Tom's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Very good entry Brick_Tom! I like how this looks like an expanded and improved version of the City of Atlantis set. I love the folding playability, great selection of minifigs and vehicles - a good recipe for a potential set. Very well done and good luck! -
That is my worry too, in most cases trailers are edited in a way to make it look ultra-super-cool even if the actual full-length movie is not-as-great as it seems. That's how I found RoTF, I felt really ripped off after watching that one. That's why I'm really wishing that this third installment will redeem the previous disappointment. I'd still definitely watch this, hoping for the best but preparing for the worst.

Excellent MOC SoT! Lots of things to be loved on this build - the leaning tower, textured walls, water creek, sand tunnel - everything is simply well done. Great job!

'Return Of The Ancients' By Thoy Bradley
XimenaPaulina replied to Derfel Cadarn's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Great find Derfel, thanks for sharing! That is one absolutely amazing build, the sheer massive size and highly-detailed nature is certainly most impressive. -
Glad to see a rare Wild Western MOC around, and a great-looking one at that. I love the simple but beautiful build of this Old Theater, as well as that nicely done horse cart. Very good job evildead!
