Very nice Hybrid entry LuxorV! I really like the fusion of the ARC-170 and the AT-TE in this build, both are instantly recognizable and equally complementary to each other. I wish you luck in the contest!

It's great to finally see the hi-res images of the CMS5 figs, thanks for sharing these iElkie! Interestingly, there are a lot of elements that I really like in this series - like the very nice printing of the snowboard, the useful snowboarder's jacket, and the gladiator's highly-detailed 'holed' helmet. I'm also curious to know if the boxer's gloves are actual 'hand pieces' or accessory-types only (held by the hand like the cheerleader's pom-poms). Among these, the most favorite for me still is the lumberjac - I simply love the overall civilian look (checkered shirt, jeans, new hat print) and of course that sweet new axe piece.

Once again, than you LT for sharing this fresh Cars review. Gotta admit I like this "Radiator Springs" McQueen better than the Grand Prix version, and it's a good thing it comes in a single vehicle set like the Mater one, much more affordable than acquiring him in a larger set.

You actually did a great job for this unplanned 4-hour MOC TM! I really like the highly-textured walls and the interiors are very well done. Pretty good work for someone who ran out of bricks.

Amazing, simply an amazing entry Rook! Truly an impressive job on the lighted parts - a really unique detail I haven't seen before. Any chance of a non-lighted 'normal' shot so we could see more the built of the ship and the custom minifig?

I think it's really a great decision to let in as much first-timers as possible, mixed in a few who've played only once/twice, and you got a good line-up for the 2nd Mafia School. I'll keenly watch from the sidelines and enjoy the show. Good luck to the participants!

Thanks for another review LT! That pink car is unexpectedly lovely I must say, probably because of the hot pink color. Not a bad set overall, though I'd pass on this for the other sets.

I may have been one of those who've slightly complained about some pieces being '<insert that tiresome argument>'. I still find it that way, but if there's a perfect example that Cars characters can be built without looking too <insert that tiresome argument> it's this Mater - almost every piece is a standard 'non-<insert that tiresome argument>' piece, even the windshield doesn't look that <insert that tiresome argument>. Unlike the other characters with one huge top and bumper piece, though I understand it's the best way to capture the shape, but still... But at the end of the day even if the other character vehicles look <insert that tiresome argument>, I still like them as a whole since I love Cars.

Another excellent MOC Oky! This lab literally looks cool with the effective white color scheme sprinkled with trans-clear and trans-blue details. The cryogenic tube is nicely done as well as the other mechanical devices. Great job as always!

I, for one, like this small set a lot, it's a good thing TLG decided to release Mater as a single vehicle set, makes him more readily available and affordable in case one doesn't have any intention of buying the larger sets. Mater looks pretty good in LEGO version, probably the best one among all of the Cars vehicles IMO.

A very impressive city layout indeed, and a very busy one too. The new Maersk train is certainly a good addition to this layout. Though I think it would be better if you've deeplinked the images so we could better appreciate them. Thanks for sharing this review LT! Lucky you you got a hold of these new Cars sets this early. So it's a combination of printed elements and stickers alright, both McQueen and Francesco look good, but I'm more interested to see the original Cars-based sets, looking forward for those other reviews then.

Another excellent high-quality review Rufus! Thanks for highlighting once again a Creator set, it does make me appreciate the line more because of your in-depth reviews. This house really looks good, even without much interior furnishings it does provide room for custom built furniture and additional detailing. The small blue car is a nice complementary vehicle too. Among the three builds, I still think the primary one is still the best.

Oh that's a very long truck alright, quite nice use of the yellow Bionicle piece and the Technic parts for the transport trailer. Very well done once again Teazza!
