Star Wars: The Clone Wars: season 3 discussion
XimenaPaulina replied to Corvus's topic in Culture & Multimedia
This is what I think of the storyline: 1. Supply Lines - the Separatist try to invade Ryloth, the Republic sends Di's army to help the Twi'leks, Cham Syndulla helps them - but gets angry and becomes unsure of the Republic's support due to the late help, and hides and becomes guerilla-like warriors. 2. Ambush - what happened in Season 1 3. Ryloth Trilogy - the Republic sends the late aid/support to Ryloth, Mace arrives and tries to get back the support of Syndulla, who eventually helps for the liberation of Ryloth. The End. -
Welcome to Eurobricks VenVoi! Great lines of interests - SW and Batman - I love both of 'em too. Continue enjoying the site.

I love this! The use of that black girl's hair perfectly fits Rambo! Nice blending of the bullet decals on the torso too. Great job alanboar HK!

But TLG could still release 'dead' characters (like Nahdar Vebb, Onocanda Farr, as of late). But I highly doubt it, it would make more sense for TLG to release more prominent clone commanders (Gree, Neyo, Bacarra) than lesser-known named clones.

Custom Clone trooper Republic
XimenaPaulina replied to brickplace custom's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
This is just great brickplace custom! Though I'm not a fan of the detailed arms and legs, I must say the decals are very clean and well-applied, very professional-looking. -
Welcome to Eurobricks Matt! You are very right that this is the best lego online community around. Do enjoy the forums here.

Great suggestions The Brickster! I'm pretty sure those tips will be very useful for those who'd want to 'seasonize' their town layouts in autumn/fall-style. However, this doesn't fit well for someone (me) who lives in a tropical country where there the only sunny and rainy seasons. Anyways, keep up with these very interesting articles.

Nicely done The Red Brick, yours is a very good upgrade of the City Corner Bike Shop. Though if I would suggest something, I think it would be much better if you moved the second floor and just expand the ground level. That would make the whole bike shop look larger and wider. Besides, I've yet to see a bike shop with two floors. Anyways, that is still a very good mod and hope to see how you'll further improve it.

Wow simply amazing! Your Renault F1 racer is a hundred times better than TLG's Ferrari ones. Your version has more accurate details, better-looking color scheme, and just overall pure awesomeness. Great job Piotr!

Nice one The Red Brick! I see your surfers has converted the Loot Island to their own island 'paradise'... But I'm not so sure it's that relaxing when you have skulls and skeletons on that small island.

Very impressive cargo ship Baylego, very clever way to use the Eta-2 starfighter fins. I smiled when I saw this since your MOC highly resembles my upcoming project.

Very nice plane, the all-white color scheme looks very clean and fresh, and just as 'bombshell' as its pilot. Very good job Fires-storm!

How innovative are LEGO users?
XimenaPaulina replied to andersandsoren's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Very interesting results, thanks for sharing. I kinda expected the low % of FFOL, but I never expected it to be just 2%, I thought maybe 5%, 10% tops. -
Star Wars: The Clone Wars: season 3 discussion
XimenaPaulina replied to Corvus's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I thought it was just his last name, but it was even Di's whole name: Ima-Gun Di = "Ima Gonna Die" according to Filoni. Oh brother... -
Finally, the first entry to the contest! Very nice entry The Penguin! Love that 'Fatman'. Though I have this feeling that there will be a lot of entries based on 'fat' minifigs... (inlcuding mine)

Very nice! It's great to see you've tried this Clone Cadet training facility - fresh from last week's Season 3 premiere. Only thing that could be improved is the clone cadets armor, it should've been grey instead of white, but the helmets with trans-green visors are spot-on. Any plans of expanding this to a larger MOC? (thought that would be a redunant build without much details).

Welcome PrimeSkir! That's a pretty good starfighter MOC you got there, very interesting design and the black color scheme is just perfect for its stealth function. Just a piece of advice, pls. resize your pics to 800 x 600 max. size limit for EB.

Another nice creation Leo-J! The dude/alien(?) does look very futuristic, though the K-9s seem to have been left behind by evolution.

MOC: Motorcycle for Time-travelling.
XimenaPaulina replied to Колпак's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Ohh, that's a very nice time-travelling tricycle. Very interesting build for the motorcycle, most especially the clever use of the minifig torso. Job well done Колпак! -
Very impressive MOC spacepilot3000! I'm not familiar with the TIE fighters, but based on the ref. photo you pretty much got the overall look of the TIE Bomber. Aside from the minor issues, this is still one great build worthy of the UCS tag!

Star Wars: The Clone Wars: season 3 discussion
XimenaPaulina replied to Corvus's topic in Culture & Multimedia
After an explosive season premiere, this epi is a bit of a downer, I never liked the meh political negotiations/plea, it's a good thing the Ryloth action scenes were the saving grace of the episode. Sigh, this is the second straight episode that they kill a good guy (99 then Di). I liked the dramatic martyric last stand of Di, thought it was really sad to see a jedi die. Compared to the other three dead jedi (Nahdar Vebb, Bolla Ropal, and Ord Eniscence), Di is a much more interesting character that they could've given more exposure in the series had they not killed off his character right away. Also interesting to note, three of the new characters than bannered this Season 3 are all dead after 3 episodes (Di, the ARC Trooper commander, and the Clone Trooper with red markings). -
Article: Trouble with LEGO Minifigs
XimenaPaulina replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Very interesting topic The Brickster! I, for one, never bought closed polybags but rather just purchased a complete set of 16 ('opened' ones) online, as I only needed one of each fig, nothing more, nothing less. I never actually understood other people hoarding these collectibles MFs, except maybe if they are resellers, but aside from that I think it's kinda selfish and greedy on the part of hoarders. When TLG made its first release of the Collectible Minifigure Series 1, I was as excited as everyone to grab these new never-before-seen minifigs. I thought this was actually a brilliant idea by TLG to release minifigs that we don't normally get in sets. I viewed this move by TLG positively as a service to FOLs to provide us with these interesting minifigs, and never questioned the way it was sold to the consumers. I was quite satisfied with Series 1, but after sometime, my interest in these has died down as I realized I didn't have much use for these figs and they were just 'dust collectors' on the shelves. That's why I never bothered to get Series 2, I'd rather use my limited budget to buy more useful sets/parts for my projects. -
Probably not due to the purple parts but as what was speculated above, a hyperdrive ring, which is much more probable.

No I don't think you can, EB doesn't host confidential images. But maybe a link to the site?

Another nice LDD design Brickwild! The trailer is nice, simple, and highly resembles the real thing.
