  1. Lovely creation TinyPiesRUs! That's a very good rendition of the Odyssey excerpt. I love the details of the walls, especially the light blue-tan color scheme and the fine details above.
  2. Very beautiful MOC Deviet! At first I thought the white color of the bridge seem kinda unusual, until I realized the name and it's really perfect as the Pearl Bridge. The build of the water is also very nice, especially the clever use of the white pieces to simulate splashes on the blue water.
  3. Nice angle MB, it would have been perfect for a Kaskyyk setting shot it not for those slightly visible electrical lines.
  4. Your advocacy is truly very admirable kyphur, my hats off to you, Sir. ----- And just an update: Just came from my third TV contest. Guess what happened? Booted out of the first round right away. Lost. Again. I'm becoming an expert in losing on TV contests.
  5. That's such a sad and very unfortunate incident... If only I live in continental US I would have gladly donated lego in memory of these two young angels... I hope The Lego Company in the US can do something about this, I'm sure they have some sort of community service department to reach out to the grieving family... My sympathy and condolences to the Arlington family.
  6. I tried to compare the previous blurry pics and these clearer prelims, and nothing has changed with regards to the ARF. The difference is in the Clone BP box art the ARF has no printing while the minifig list on the other picture ,the ARF has the Lightning Squadron helmet print. We don't know which is right between the two versions, we just have to wait for the final versions. I personally prefer the unprinted ones, which is more flexible in terms of customization.
  7. Oh yeah, I remember that in the episode sneek peek. It's just people have been more interested discussing the upcoming appearance of Greedo (elder or not) in the next epi. Though it will really be nice to see Chuchi once again, but the Ahsoka love interest angle is just .
  8. Yes that counts. Even mere seconds of TV exposure matter. Care to elaborate more?
  9. Happy birthday peeps! And to all other celebrants as well. Cheers!
  10. They should, and they will change that, or else Saesee will become one of the most insulted jedi MF ever released. The Shaak fig just needs minor changes on the Togruta headress print, while Vos is already ok with me. I wonder if Vos will have a tattooed arm?
  11. Pretty interesting design and the folding wing mechanism. But the angled wings and rear part sure looks fragile and unstable, is my assumption correct? (especially when you lift up the whole thing).
  12. Nice comeback JD! Lucky American patrons, poor American delivery men..
  13. I beg to disagree, those aren't fairly basic customs, they're great!! I love the shoulder pads and pauldron w/ blaster holders of the Alien Conqueror. Great job on these and welcome to EB RaptorBandito!
  14. I certainly hope so, so that we could prevent something like these badly-sharpied heads. (sorry for posting yet another link) But if not, a plain black head for the Mandos and the ARF trooper would do fine for me.
  15. Allow me to share with you guys something unusual that happened to me yesterday. Last night, I got a call from the top TV station in our country informing that I was chosen as a contestant in one of the games in their noontime game show. I just couldn’t believe my luck(?) because this will actually be my third time to appear on television. This kind of things doesn’t normally happen to ordinary people like me, moreso be given multiple chances to be part of a TV show, so I was like, “Man, this is totally insane and unbelievable!” The first time I had the chance to be on TV was in my junior year in high school when me and one of my classmates were sent as our school’s representative for a televised inter-school quiz bee, named Battle of the Brains. We eventually won in the weekly finals but lost the following week. My second experience was when I joined the Philippine’s version of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? (Kakasa Ka Ba Sa Grade 5? in our native language) just last year. That has got to be one of the most embarrassing yet funniest moments of my life – I “dropped-out” of the contest after only three questions! The ‘killer’ question was a freakin’ 3rd grade Mathematics question that was so hard that even my 5th grader ‘classmate’ (help/lifeline) wasn’t able to save me from losing. Watch this video to see that KielDaMan is NOT smarter than a 5th grader. And now this will be my third time. I am actually contemplating not joining this time because of my history of ‘good luck-turned-bad’. Besides, this one will be just a game of luck and not a battle of wits. --------- Anyways, has this kind of things ever happened to you? Have you ever had your chance to be seen on TV? Share your "15 minutes of fame" stories here. I thought it would be interesting to share one's funny experiences being on TV.
  16. Rematch accepted! Let's just wait for someone to adjudicate for us.
  17. Very creative indeed! Just cast my votes, I hope Matt wins and here's hoping to see a lego-based album cover soon.
  18. dr_spock beat me to the Homerish "Hmmmm... Bacon..." Simple yet cool creation Leo-J! Nice idea on the tile bacons, the grill is well-built too.
  19. Oh my, you really 'painted the town, er Mars, red' in this creation! Superb job on this thire5! The HAV is great, but the mini-Mars city is even better.
  20. Glad to hear your back to the wonderful world of LEGO, Condor. Welcome to Eurobricks and continue enjoying the site. See you around!
  21. Yeah, that looks good, but not as greebly as we would want it to be. I still say, TLG just make these air intake parts ok? Anyway, enough of my wishful thinking. And sorry for posting my MOC, just trying to illustrate my point, since it's exactly what Mr. Kovacs was referring to with the 1-stud wide BARC front.
  22. The only problem with my version is that the front and side air intakes are really hard to do, that's why TLG's version can't get that part the same way. Maybe they should just create this custom air intake part, but I highly doubt that.
  23. Happy Birthday! Enjoy the rest of the day!
  24. Yay! First victory! And it tastes so good, Hmmm... Very well fought, cralegoboy, I very much enjoyed the intense duel that we had. I hope Aiklimacz and Parama Jandu shall meet again some time... Thanks also JimB for adjucating. Aikclimacz emerges victoriously from battle, but her focus on executing her parents' jedi murderer still unchanged. She heads out again in her vengeful search of Windu...
  25. Like this one? (below). I do not mean to brag, but I just know the one-stud wide front of the BARC speeder could be done. But I completely understand that TLG is always after playability and stability over accuracy. The BARC is still ok with me, I'd still get multiples of these Clone BPs and just modify them like my previous version.
