  1. Nice and simple, not as good as the others but still gets the message across. Two more to go!
  2. It's nice to see the pre-history of aliens, looks like they also have the same two most important inventions like humans - the "wheel" and the fire, though they seem to have advanced more than us (?). Anyway, I like the build of the tree, very alien-like. Another nice work lisqr!
  3. Ooh.. I so love the smooth and streamlined overall finish of this aircraft, great SNOT building. The red color scheme looks very regal too. Great job Fire-storm!
  4. Nice concept Baylego. Bayleej looks like the offpsring of Luminara and an LGM. The goat is also cute. Good job!
  5. I think it's pretty much established by now that the V-Wing pilot is obviously a black version of the ARC pilot based on the prelim pics. I know those are just prelims, but they look already final to me and probably won't change in the final version.
  6. Congrats to all the lucky winners! You're 'treasure hunting' has paid off.
  7. WOW, as in totally Wow. This is absolutely amazing! Very impressive createion teddy! The exteriors are just beautiful, I simply love the brown color scheme, gives the whole building an old-school 'woody feel'. The interiors are even better, lots of details that are very realistic - I love all of 'em I cannot even point one that I don't like. If this is how lego police station sets are built, I would definitely buy this one in a whim. Oh, and I forgot to mention, that police car is a stunning creation itself. Nice to see you could actually sit 4 figs in there.
  8. Welcome to Eurobricks Cap'tanZarWolf! You couldn't have come at a better time now that it's Hero Factory month, hope to see you joining the contests, Enjoy the site and see you around.
  9. Darth Aiklimax is challenging Mistotar Typha for a duel. Minxter, you got a PM. I'll be waiting...
  10. You're right about that. Glad to see you corrected the color of the snowspeeder to grey.
  11. Not the best Hoth diorama around but it's certainly a very good build. I like the snow formations, and the SNOT finish makes the base really look realistic snow. Overall a good job Chris Phipson! Are those Snowspeeder and AT-ST the official ones or your own build?
  12. Not much of a 'Sneak Peak', since the first photo is an obvious give-away. I'm looking forward how you'll pull-off those large circular air vents/engines and the cockpits. I have a feeling we'll be seeing SNOT wings on this one....
  13. Borrowed from Burman: WTFOMG!?! That's one hell of a massive SW diorama... At first I thought it was a midi/mini-scale display, until I realized it was MF-scale! I even see my ARC Gunship there. Truly excellent job to all those who did that SW diorama. My hats off to all of you guys.
  14. Darth Aiklimacz (The White Sith) - Sith Lord Biographical Data: Aiklimacz is a female Korun Sith apprenticed by the Sith lord Darth Tyranus. Jedi Master Mace Windu first sensed this force-sensitive child on his homeworld Haruun Kal, where he searched for the young girl to train in the Jedi Temple. During his searchl, Mace Windu found her amidst an on-going clan war between Aiklimacz's family and a rival clan. On an unfateful twist of fate, Aiklimacz saw her parents die at the hands of Windu when the Jedi Master was actually trying to save her parents' lives but failed to in the end. The young girl mistakenly blamed Windu for the murder of her parents and ran away not to be found by Windu. Living alone for 18 years, Aiklimacz was blinded with hatred and revenge in her mind, and has lived a life in the Dark Side, earning a living as a pay-for-hire assassin. Darth Tyranus recruited her to be his secret apprentice, offering her the chance to exact revenge on her parents' 'murderer' Mace Windu. The New Face of Evil: Looks can really be deceiving. Behind the angelic face is a cold-blooded assassin highly-skilled in the ways of the dark side of the Force. Deep within her is the ultimate motive to take the life of her parents' 'murderer', Mace Windu. Going against traditional Sith customs, Aiklimacz wore an all-white outfit (presumably to disguise herself as one of the 'good guys'), which has a special cloaking capability which has been extremely useful to her especially in covert operations. She uses two red lightsabers gifted to her by her master Darth Tyranus, apparently of the same kind as Assajj Ventress'. She is known to be a quick and highly skilled fighter, with precise, decisive and cold-blooded approach in combat. She is best know for her "Kiss of Death", literally leaving a 'mark' on all of her victims after defeating them in battle. Behind the scenes: This character is based on this very lovely Filipina... Duel History: Health: 5 Force abilities: Force Lightning Force Push Mastery abilities: Combat Master Endurance Wins: 5 Losses: 3 Now a Sith Lord after defeating Zerb Stratlind. Recently avenged herself from Yoda's promising padawan, Zerb Stratlind. Now relishing her Sith Warrior status. Still looking forward to finally defeating her nemesis Mistotar Typha. Recently defeated experienced jedi duelist Ber'Gin'Yon.
  15. Ok, I'll post my character asap and set-up a duel with you Minxter. Another question, so if this thread is for everyone to duel each other, how does one get chosen in the tournament? One has to show worthy dueling skills and ability progression to be chosen?
  16. Yes you are right about the V-Wing having no life support and the pilots should have closed helmets, in the first versions of the V-Wing. But Wookieepedia says that the Empire improved the V-Wing to accomodate hyperdrives, so there's the possibility that life-support systems were also introduced in the ship later on. That would also confirm that V-Wings flew under the Empire and hence the term Imperial V-Wing.
  17. Ouch! My eyes hurt reading the last two posts, whatever happened to proper punctuation and capitalization? Anyway, I agree that Voyage of Temptation is pretty lame, with majority of the episode taking place inside a ship without much interesting lego-potential elements, maybe the assassin probe droids and the Mando guard? But even those two I can live without.
  18. Based on the prelim pics I count around 7 regular BDs and 2 with blue markings = 9 BDs. Regarding the V-Wing, the term Imperial is due to the appearance of the ship in the newly-established less-than-a-day-old Empire in RoTS, as seen on one of the last scenes in the movie where V-Wings were accompanying Palpatine's shuttle when they saved the injured Vader in Mustafar. And those open helmets are the same ones used by Republic ARC pilots, which appeared on the same time as V-Wing pilots. And guys, pls. read KimT's post above. A lot of times we have tendencies to go out of topic so let's try to follow forum rules ok?
  19. Nice and simple, pretty good build noname. The tan pteranodon fits perfectly with the rest of the sand castle. BTW, this is one of the rare times where not-so-clean pieces actually works effectively well.
  20. A couple of gaming noob question: Is this dueling thread still active? Is this different from the Jedi Duel tournament? Can I still join and duel with someone?
  21. Wow I could have missed this one, this is just AMAZING! Very impressive collection of unique display shelves for your Collectible MF, Cecilie. I love how you customized each shelf for each individual MF, each and everyone of them are just perfect for their respective minifig. 32 down, 16 (and possibly more) to go. We'll certainly be looking forward to your next batch.
  22. Another superb MOC The Penguin! I simply love the overall -wintery'-snowy look of the whole creation. The cheese slope snow and the trans-blue bar icicles are very clever details. The interiors are also expectedly great. Just a couple of questions, though: - What set did that lady headpiece come from? <first time I saw that one> - Are those custom wall stickers or from official sets? Impressive work as usual!
  23. For someone who's not a fan of the old Bionicle and the new Hero Factory themes, I'd still say this is a very interesting themed month. This will be the perfect chance for me (and hopefully other non-fans) to appreciate HF, and the contest is the perfect venue for HF/Bionicle enthusiasts not only to let out their creative juices but at the same time to show the whole AFOL community how great their beloved theme is. So HF fanatics, we're all waiting and give us a good "show".
  24. Thanks the Inventor! I will try to fix the pale colored-front sticker when I have the time. Thanks for the kind comments -R8- and CommanderFox! .
