Jedi Youngling Hans Olo versus Jedi Youngling Rorigan Kanus Round 3 Hans Olo | 4_________________________Rorigan Kanus | 4 Kick - 0_____________________________Low - 1 Parry - 0____________________________Kick - 1 Parry - 0____________________________Parry - 0 Kick - 0____________________________ High - 1 Parry - 0____________________________High - 0 Health: 1____________________________Health: 4 The end is near, and both duelists can sense it. Hans Olo aggressively attempts to kick his opponent, but Kanus quickly reacts by sweeping his rival with a low lightsaber swing, dealing a painful blow on Olo's legs. Seeing Olo struggling to get back on his feet, Kanus kicks him from behind. After a cautious defensive sequence from both younglings, Olo desperately aims to put his boot on his rival's face, but Kanus, already tasting the sweet taste of first victory, suddenly leaps forward to inflict a lethal damage on Olo's face. Knowing it's over, Olo feebly blocks Kanus' one last attack. Winner: Rorigan Kanus! Congratulations pedro! Rorigan Kanus has now moved up to the rank of Jedi Initiate. Good duel by both of you guys. Strangely enough, you seemed to have become too cautious and defensive in the decisive round The Legonater. Kicks and Parries just won't do it for you especially in a closely fought duel. Feel free to update your character profiles now.

Harry Potter: Wizard's Duel - Duelling Club
XimenaPaulina replied to ADHO15's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Yay! The third practitioner has arrived! Now feel the wrath of Slytherin... Well-played Prof. Flitwick, It was a very close fight. I actually thought you were gonna win with the your perfect first round, well I guess I had more luck in the next two rounds. Anyway, looking forward to duel with you again sometime soon. I think cralegoboy is right, Expelliarmus is a defensive spell and deals a damage only when the opponent casts Protego (Parry). That's what I think. Maybe ADHO15 / pedro could clarify this slight confusion. As such, the score will remain as is unless otherwise corrected. -

Ravenclaw Practitioner Skylar Cisco versus Gryffindor Practitioner Ollivander Dippet ROUND 1 Skylar Cisco | 5________________________Ollivander Dippet | 5 Crucio! - 1____________________________High - 0 High - 0______________________________Expelliarmus! - 0 Low - 0______________________________High - 1 Protego! - 0___________________________Mid - 0 Low - 1_____________________________ Mid - 0 Health: 4___________________________Health: 3 The First Battle of the Practitioners have begun! Right from the get-go, Ravenclaw Skylar Cisco, unhappy that another Practitioner has joined him in the ranks, immediately attacks his opponent, sending a powerful Crucio spell that throws the air-borne Gryffindor back to the ground. Cisco sensing an opening, lunges into the air but Ollivander Dippet disarms him with an Expelliarmus. After getting back on his feet, Dippet quickly jumps into the air and catches the Ravenclaw with a dizzying spell in the head. The Gryffindor then aims at his rival's body but Cisco quicly recovered to counter with a Protego spell. Following up instantly, Cisco aims at Dippets's legs and sweeps the Gryffindor off his feet. The more experienced Practitioner has the early advantage but will the Dippet come back in the next round? Send in your Round 2 DS when ready. EDIT: Pls. correct me if I'm wrong, but does Expelliarmus defeat a normal attack and at the same time deals 1 damage (kick)? If that is the case I'll correct the scores. Sorry I'm a bit confused about this one. -
I'm not much a fan of minis, but the wing mechanism does look very cleverly done. And the whole build is pretty accurate to the real V-19 considering it's a mini.

Another perfectly-timed review, this one in connection with the Battle of Naboo 'Battle Droid BP'. This one is a real army builder, who wouldn't want to get BDs in one small buy (back then) right? How I wish I would've gotten this if not for my Dark Ages at that time. I think they showed all the BDs to fill out what would've been an empty space at the back.
-
Neat review Doc, just perfect timing to give people a flashback on the previous V-Wing as we'll about to get the upcoming updated version. I missed this set back in '06, and it looks pretty decent during that time though there are a lot of accuracy issues. It's a good thing some of those flaws will be addressed in the new one (though still not enough), and I'm looking forward getting my first V-Wing.
-
Looks pretty good, just try to reduce the thickness of the wings and smoothen it with some tiles/SNOT and it'll improve significantly.
-
Yeah, it does look like it'll be metallic silver, and I think it's great to get an astromech in a very cool-looking color. Interesting to know that this astromech has OT 'connections'.

CF, you have to edit your Round 2 DS, there is a slight mistake. I'll just wait for that before I publish the results. Already sent Round 3 DS vs. Flitwick. -
Jedi Youngling Hans Olo versus Jedi Youngling Rorigan Kanus Round 2 Hans Olo | 5_________________________Rorigan Kanus | 4 Parry - 0____________________________High - 0 Mid - 0______________________________Parry - 0 Low - 0_____________________________Low - 0 Parry - 0____________________________ Kick - 1 Parry - 0_____________________________ High - 0 Health: 4____________________________Health: 4 The second round begins with Kanus lunging into the air attempting to strike from above, but Olo quickly deflects his opponent's attack. Olo then goes on the offensive swinging his lightsaber on Kanus' torso, which the latter easily counters. After two unsuccessful tries, both younglings sweep their lightsabers lowly, only to cancel each other out. Kanus then sends a powerful kick, catching Olo off-guard and smacks his rival in the face and sending the youngling sprawling into the ground. Realizing the momentum is on his side, Kanus leaps into the air, swishing his lightsaber from the top, but the grounded Olo gathers his strength on time to defend himself. There is a defeaning silence that could be heard, with both jedi younglings trying to figure out their next moves, knowing the end of their duel is near... Rorigan Kanus has successfully come back in the duel to tie the score at 4 Health points apiece. Who shall come out victorious in the pivotal third round? Send in your Round 3 DS when ready.

Maybe he cut it short since Stratlind was already beaten by the third sequence. Though when I adjudicate I always put the whole DS.

The medium blue color scheme perfectly fits well its name CoolMint. The name and the color somehow reminds me of mentos mints. Anyway, lovely simple but effective design on this one.

Pretty neat mini Daedalus! Very Legostein-ish (complement), good job on the overall nice-looking shape.

Ooh, that's a very nice build BrothersMerz. Very interesting design with the angled front 'wings' and 'rear flaps'. The functional door opening is also a pretty neat detail. Great job also on the opening photo! Welcome to Eurobricks and hope to see more of your creations here. -
Very interesting build indeed. Great job on the instructions too, thanks for sharing this BSH!

XimenaPaulina replied to Legostein's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Very clever build from a creator set yet again Legostein! It's easily recognizable as the Bongo Sub. Not only are you the "Master of Minis", but you're also becoming the "Creator Set Alternative Build Expert" -

Despite the very strong sentiments you have against the Delta 7Bs, I actually agree with you that TLG seemed to have stuck with the same old design of the JSF and never made any significant changes/improvements (like a tapered point, shorter front hull, shorter rear, etc.). That's why even me, a self-confessed JSF lover, will pass on this set simply because it has nothing more to offer with regards to the JSF design.
