Pretty neat LDD design duncan. Nice wing angles and the triple engine thrusters.

Great design of this hoverbike -zenn! I'm diggin' the all-black color scheme - looks very badass. The details are nice too, especially the clever use of the castle headgear in the front. Great job!

Oh so close, it's anybody's game in the third round. DS sent! -
For its simplicity I actually like it a lot! The rock formations are very well done, and the look at the miner's face is just perfect for this scene. Great job on your first MOC Ponury!

This is a pretty good episode I agree, but not a 10/10 for me, probably an 8.5/10. This episode is awfully similar to Season 1's Jedi Crash - same plot/story of a group of jedi trapped on a remote planet helping the local indigenous people against their enemies. The new characters are great to see, I also like Embo the best, he reminds me a lot of Raiden from Mortal Kombat. I remember one scene in this epi where Anakin had the chance to 'dispose' of Hono but he hesitated and freed the pirate. I would have wanted that they've shown Anakin during that instance his Dark Side tendencies (like when he force-choked Poggle before). Uhm, I personally think it was kinda cool. That hat weapon trick is similar to real-world boomerang. Besides, this is the SW world where anything is possible.

Hupplepuff Practitioner Frankfurt Flashburn versus Ravenclaw Student Jin Chang Round 3 Frankfurt Flashburn | 4 _____________________Jin Chang | 1 Low - 0 _____________________________________High - 1 Mid - 0______________________________________Mid - 0 Mid - 0______________________________________Mid - 0 High - 1_____________________________________Low - 0 Stupefy! - 1__________________________________High - 0 Health: 3_______________________________Health: 0 Hanging on by a thread for his dear life, Ravenclaw Jin Chang aggressively starts the decisive round with a high-arching spell that hits Frankfurt in the head. Seeing the Hupplepuff dizzy after the attack, Jin unleashes a flurry of spells towards his opponent's body, but each time Frankfurt counters with the same spells sending sparks flying around the room. Infuriated by his last few failed attempts, Jin quickly casts a low sweeping spell, however Frankfurt rightfully predicts his rival's move and dodges the attack, lunges into the air, and throws a stunning spell that left the Ravenclaw unconscious on the floor. Once again, Frankfurt emerges victorious while Jin is brought to the infirmary, his first duel victory still eluding him. Winner: Frankfurt Flashburn! Congratulations Cornelius!. Valiant effort tin7, it's just too much for Jin to handle the experience (and a bit of luck) on the side of Frankfurt. You may now update your character records accordingly. -

My bad, sorry to both guys! I already edited the typo. -
Of course you can MB! Yeah, that's what I did with Mace's JSF, as well as with all the other previous MOCs I did which required stickers (Razor Squadron, ARC Gunship, etc.) Probably, some time next year maybe but not now. I still have some other MOCs lined up. And if ever I'll do it, that would be one of my first attempts in building a diorama.

My fingers are crossed that hopefully TLG will fix these for the final versions: - Replace Saesee's CW head with an appropriate one. - The Bomb Squad Trooper arms should be both white - Make a new face for Vos (though I could live with the yellow-striped Boba face)
-
I smiled when I saw this post. It seems you have read my mind, as I have those two currently in the works. (I managed to get a photo of Luminara's Delta 7-B for the right look). In a month's time I should be able to show these (and hopefully provide inspiration to TLG to make official ones).

Great mini-CTT, I like it a lot! Pretty spot-on for a mini, as always.

It's sad to see such beautiful creations get scrapped for parts. I guess that's just the reality of MOCing. On the brighter side, more scrapped parts means more creations from you Rook. Keep 'em coming!

Nice entry lt.Gonville_brickhead! Though I may not be that familiar with the 'Daleks thingy', the cosplayer does look amateurish and just perfect for the competition. BTW, this topic might help you in posting your photos from Brickshelf ---> How to post and deeplink photos by Shadows. I hope you'll be able to post the photos soon since it's one of the requirements for the entry. I'm pretty sure LuxorV will notify you regarding that, together with the mandatory minifig shots and 5 photo limit. Well, good luck in the contest my friend. -

Hupplepuff Practitioner Frankfurt Flashburn versus Ravenclaw Student Jin Chang Round 2 Frankfurt Flashburn | 5 _____________________Jin Chang | 3 Mid - 1 ______________________________________High - 0 Stupefy! - 1__________________________________Low - 0 Mid - 0______________________________________Mid - 0 High - 0_____________________________________Mid - 1 Low - 0_____________________________________Protego! - 0 Health: 4_______________________________Health: 1 Riding from his momentum in the previous round, Hupplepuff Frankfurt unleashes a flurry of aggressive attacks, first with a strike towards Jin's body, and next a stunning Stupefy that counters the Ravenclaw's fruitless spells and gravely damages the student. Seeing his opponent on the verge of defeat, Frankfurt goes for an all-out attack aiming his wand at Jin's body which the latter deflects with the same spell. The Hupplepuff once again tries to hit his rival on the head but Jin sees an opening and strikes the practitioner in the torso. Surprised he got hit, Frankfurt retaliates with a low sweeping spell that is blocked by a Protego from Jin, summoning the remaining of his strength. The second round ends with the Hupplepuff practitioner still holding a commanding lead over Ravenclaw Jin Chang. Will Jin stage a miraculous comeback (perfect round) in the next stage? Or will Frankfurt prevent the Ravenclaw from getting his first victory? Send in your Round 3 DS when ready. -
A good idea, but something I will never think of using. It will look like your minifigs somewhat 'caged' on a glass prison cell. I would rather have my figs on one huge display shelf (closed/covered with glass).

Thanks angel06! I'm a fan of your huge MOCs as well. Thanks mookage! Don't worry, this will not be the last time you'll see the shuttlebus. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to find a way to squeeze this in a Coruscant diorama in the near future. Oh, I appreciate the very kind words from an expert MOCer like you BlueBard, thanks a lot! Glad you like it.

Thanks for adjudicating. DS sent for Round 1. You're up Commander Fox. Also awaiting your Round 2 DS CM, tin7 has already sent his. -
TLG, choose two out of these three: - J-type 327 Nubian Royal Starship (left) - J-type diplomatic barge (middle) - H-type Nubian Yatch (right) I know these choices seem quite improbable for TLG to do, it's just nice to dream once in a while (just imagine those chrome pieces)...
-
I think it has been established by now that we'll get Quinlan Vos and not Anakin. What remains to be confirmed (and seen) are the final versions of the figs. Does Saesee still have the clone face? Vos has the Boba face? Or have they changed it already? Were you able to see this KimT?

The peeling problem happens on the edges and not on the 'flat' surfaces, add the fact that the cockpit piece is curved. Nevertheless, thanks for the suggestion Doc. Maybe next time I would consider using the what I think is the better technique - spray-paint!

Whoaw! That's one massive castle MOC, very impressive build especially for your first one Fonzy. I have no idea how the real reference castle looks like but I would assume you tried to capture the look of the real one, and hence the simplicity of the walls (which I like). The whole build somehow exudes a feeling of serenity for a castle. Welcome to EB BTW!

Hupplepuff Practitioner Frankfurt Flashburn versus Ravenclaw Student Jin Chang Round 1 Frankfurt Flashburn | 5 _____________________Jin Chang | 5 High - 0 _____________________________________Protego! - 0 Mid - 1______________________________________High - 0 Stupefy! - 1__________________________________ Low - 0 Mid - 0______________________________________Mid - 0 High - 0_____________________________________High - 0 Health: 5________________________________Health: 3 It's the Battle of the 'other' archrivals, Hupplepuff versus Ravenclaw, Practitioner versus Student, Frankfurt Flashburn versus Jin Chang. The practitioner starts the duel with a high-arching spell that is quickly deflected by Jin's Protego. The Ravenclaw tries a similar attack but Frankfurt reads his move and immediately casts a spell on his opponent's body, slamming Jin against the wall. Seeing Jin slow to recover, the Hupplepuff unleashes a powerful Stupefy spell that stuns his rival. Wanting to end this duel early, Frankfurt casts a flurry of spells targeted towards the Ravenclaw but Jin gathers his strength to counter both attacks with his own. The first round ends with the Hupplepuff practitioner unscathed and holding a commanding lead heading into the next round. Will Frankfurt end this duel quickly? Or will Jin come back and force a third round? Send in your Round 2 DS when ready.
