  1. "I'm looking forward to handing you your first defeat, my fellow Slytherin.." - Diana Let's duel CMP after my match with C-Fox. Who would care to ADJ for me and C-Fox? Regarding the duel photos, glad you like it. Actually I could provide the softcopy (MS Word format) of the template to interested adjudicators if they want to use it. I'll adjudicate for you if CM accepts the challenge.
  2. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say we'd still get just 2 jetpacks (sadly). <I hope I'm wrong>
  3. Would you like to duel Aiklimacz (again)? I'm just one level above you so it won't matter much. What do you say?
  4. Slytherin Practitioner Carlos Peerce versus Gryffindor Practitioner Ollivander Dippet Round 3 Carlos Peerce | 4 _________________________Ollivander Dippet | 2 Low - 1 _____________________________________Mid - 0 Crucio! - 1___________________________________High - 0 Protego! - 0__________________________________Expelliarmus! - 0 Mid - 0___________________________________ -__Low - 1 High - 0_____________________________________Protego! - 0 Health: 4 (3)________________________________Health: 0 The Battle of the archrivals Gryffindor Ollivander Dippet and Slytherin Carlos Peerce are drawing to a close… The Gryffindor, desperately wanting to make a furious comeback, wastes no time and attempts to hit Carlos on the body, but the Slytherin dodges the attack and counters with a low sweeping spell that throttles Ollivander to the ground. Sensing the imminent victory, Carlos unleashes a powerful Crucio that cancels Ollivander’s feeble counterspell and forcefully hits him in the body, sending Ollivander to the far side of the room. His fellow Gryffindors try to help Ollivander as Carlos walks away victorious… Winner: Carlos Peerce! Congratulations CallMePie! Wow, still undefeated, very impressive! Better luck next time Commander Fox, (though not that good since you’ll be facing another Slytherin soon). You may now update your character profiles accordingly.
  5. Pretty good Hoth diorama Devastator. I like the fact the you left some stone formations uncovered with snow, which makes this a bit different from other Hoth MOCs that I've seen. I see you have put in there all the necessary elements for a good Battle of Hoth scene, so nice job!
  6. Impressive collection Rook! Great job in all of these. My most favorite among the 12 is the Gemini and Libra. Just a question, do you still have all of these? Or you just continually re-use parts to create the other MOCs? It would be really great to see them all side-by-side-by-side--12x.
  7. Great wreckage scene 501st! Like what I've been saying about these types of MOCs, "there is beauty in destruction". Is that a specific type of ship or just a random made-up (or broken-down) ship? Anyways, the whole build looks really cool and you managed to convey the message very clearly to your audience.
  8. Impressive work Rayman! I'm not really familiar with Evangelion, but I like your unique approach for a cosplayer, using a troll character instead of a normal dude. The prints are indeed professional quality. Best of luck in the contest!
  9. Yay, it's great to hear some confirmation on the upcoming sets from KimT, can't wait to finally see the official photos. But even without them, the first must-buys for me are the two BPs and the V-Wing. I'm still 50-50 on the T-6 (3 cool new jedi vs. crappy ship). The Halo, Naboo Battle, and Mace's JSF are a pass for me (I'd just get the figs that I want from BL).
  10. To be specific, this is what I did with the stickers: I spray-painted (more professional finish than printed ones) two bare white sticker papers with tan and purple. I measured the specific dimensions of the cockpit area that need stickers, and then I cut it out and applied them. It is kinda tedious to do, you really have to have some sort of sense of right proportions. I guess it turned out pretty decent, except for the observable peeling.
  11. Slytherin Practitioner Carlos Peerce versus Gryffindor Practitioner Ollivander Dippet Round 2 Carlos Peerce | 4 _________________________Ollivander Dippet | 4 Mid - 0 ______________________________________Protego! - 0 Protego! - 0__________________________________Mid - 0 Crucio! - 1___________________________________ High - 0 High - 0_____________________________________Expelliarmus! - 0 Low - 1_____________________________________ Silencio! - 0 Health: 4________________________________Health: 2 The Slytherin practitioner looks to ride on his momentum from the previous round as he starts the second one with a spell directed towards his rival's body, but Ollivander is quick to block with a Protego. Not to be outdone, the Gryffindor goes on the offensive and performs a similar attack which Carlos effectively deflects. After two uneventful attacks from both sides, Ollivander attempts to strike his opponent in the head but Carlos unleashes a powerful Crucio spell that proves to be much stronger and hurls Ollivander to the ground. Seeing the Gryffindor slow to get back on his feet, Carlos immediately casts a head spell, however Ollivander recovers in time to counter with an Expelliarmus. Ollivander, wanting to draw even, tries to retaliate with a Silencio but gravely miscalculates and misses the Slytherin, as Carlos hits his archnemesis off his feet with a sweeping low spell. The Slytherin practitioner has open up a significant advantage at the end of the second round. Will Carlos finally end the duel come next round? Or will Ollivander stage a comeback? Send in your Round 3 DS when ready.
  12. Hupplepuff Student Frankrurt Flashburn versus Hupplepuff Student Okay Turkoglu Round 3 Frankfurt Flashburn | 3_________________Okay Turkoglu | 3 Low - 0_____________________________High - 1 Protego! - 0__________________________Protego! - 0 High - 1_____________________________Low - 0 Mid - 1______________________________High - 0 Mid - 0_____________________________Mid - 0 Health: 2___________________________Health: 1 The end of the Battle of the Hupplepuffs draws to a near... Desperate for his first ever duel victory, Okay Turkoglu aggressively starts the decisive round with a furious spell towards his fellow Hupplepuff, Frankfurt tries to counter but he's too late as Okay's spell hits him leaving him dizzy for a few seconds. After an unexpected exchange of defensive Protegos from each side, Okay targets his opponent's legs but Frankfurt quickly leaps and casts a painful hex that hits his rival in the head. Okay tries to retaliate with a head-shot of his own, but Frankfurt sees an opening and strikes Okay in the body with a painful spell. The Turk attempts one last desperate attack with a spell towards Frankfurt's body, but his fellow Hupplepuff effectively counters with his own similar spell, sending sparks throughout the room. After the smoke has cleared, Frankfurt Flashburn is declared the victor! Congratulations Cornelius! Just tough luck Oky (for the third straight time). It was a close duel throughout and was just decided in the last few sequences, it could have gone either way. Don't worry, there are still many duels to be won. You may now update your character profiles accordingly.
  13. Thanks for the kind words Legostein. When I first saw the trans-clear Slave I cockpit I knew that would be the perfect use for that piece. 'Little' speeder? I don't think that's the right word to describe the shuttlebus. Yeah as I stated above I could've widened the base but at the expense of the interiors. But I'm glad you still liked it! Thanks Admiral Ron! There's nothing I could do with the CW faces, but they should suffice my jedi collection.
  14. Updates: On-going Duels: cralegoboy vs. KielDaMan (Round 3) - adjudicated by C-Fox; awaiting cralegoboy's DS (already sent you a PM ) CorneliusMurdock vs. Oky (Round 3) - adjudicated by KDM; awaiting CM's DS C-Fox vs. CallMePie (Round 2) - adjudicated by KDM; awaiting CMP's DS Upcoming Duels: KDM vs. tin7 - to start once KDM's duel finishes - to be adjudicated by CallMePie. Can we start already (even if I still have a last round duel)?
  15. YES!!! That's great news! Now I don't have to go to far countries just to come to Legoland. Just a short trip to SG (first destination), then on to Malaysia.
  16. I'm liking it so far (what's not to like in LT's creations anyway?) Slowly but surely, this hotel is coming to life and the tan color scheme looks more and more beatiful by the build. Just curious, will that be the final lot area (10 x 22) and you'll just build it vertically or do you have plans expanding the base area?
  17. So I see someone has been busy color mix-and-matching eh? Very nice color combos Selander! Personally, I like the tan-black color scheme the best.
  18. Looks good! I assume the design is based on an actual Mitre 10 truck right? Even without seeing a ref. pic, I'm pretty sure that is accurate to the real thing since it's 'lightningtiger-made'.
  19. Great! I love the 'homey' details inside. The exterior design looks really clean (nice tiling). Impressive work as always BlueBard!
  20. Pretty good first MOC, but I'm sure you'll be able to improve it (or your next ones) once you have the right amount of parts to work with.
  21. Great restaurant scene Mariko! I simply love the small details that you put in there - the alternating trans-red and -green cheese slopes for the wall design, the helmet floodlight pen, and the perfect head for the grumpy health inspector - all very effectively used to get the desired outcome. Truly impressive!
  22. Aww man, that's just sad.. I've experienced this a couple of times already, and it's really a pain in the megablocks to rebuild lego. It took me a couple of hours to rebuild an RGS, what more five modular buildings!
  23. Oohh, great scene Janice_M! The sloshing radioactive waste is very effectively done using the trans-light green pieces. The whole build really looks like a scene in a movie.
  24. Hello fellow Asian and welcome to Eurobricks! It's great to know another LSW fan amonst us. Do enjoy you stay here and see you around the forums. Ohh, that would be great if there will be Legoland in Johor, much nearer to our country compared to other Legoland locations. Durians? Love it! Smells but tastes
  25. Welcome to Eurobricks Geertos13! Enjoy your stay here and hope to see some of your Brickfilms soon.
