Hupplepuff Student Frankrurt Flashburn versus Hupplepuff Student Okay Turkoglu Round 2 Frankfurt Flashburn | 4_________________Okay Turkoglu | 4 Mid - 1______________________________High - 0 Low - 0_____________________________Protego! - 0 Low - 0_____________________________Low - 0 Protego! - 0__________________________High - 0 High - 0_____________________________Mid - 1 Health: 3___________________________Health: 3 The battle of the Hupplepuffs continues in the second round with Frankfurt unleashing a powerful spell that knocks the air-borne Okay onto the ground. Frankfurt looks to follow-up with a sweeping low spell but Okay quickly counters with a Protego. Not to be outdone, Okay directs his wand to his opponent's legs but Frankfurt does the same as both attacks cancel out. Okay then aims at Frankfurt's head only to be deflected by his rival's Protego. Sensing the frustration on Okay's face, Frankfurt attempts to strike from above, but he gravely miscalculates as Okay sees an opening and blasts a painful spell on his rival's torso, slamming Frankfurt onto the wall. The exciting duel between the Hupplepuffs again end up tied after the second round. Will we see the same trend in the next round? (Sudden Death again Okay?) Or will someone emerge victorious after Round 3? Send in your next DS when ready. -
X-Wing Y-Wing TIE Fighter Millenium Falcon Slave I These classic OT ships are in a regular cycle of being remade, as long as the SW license is around, expect one of these sooner or later.

Since I brought this up in the 2011 Rumors thread, I think this would be the more appropriate topic to air my wishful thinking. One word: R2-KT ! I don't care if she's just a minor character, the sentimental background story of her is enough reason for me want her. Hasbro has released a special action figure before, so TLG might want to throw this baby in one of the future sets, or even as an exclusive minifig or a promotional limited-number freebie like the chrome vaders/Threepio/white Boba. Please, TLG make it happen?

Hey it looks great! Nice LDD design for the electronic drums BrickWild!

Oh my, whack-off thread aside, these Cube Dudes represent both of you guys perfectly! Great jon on these Oky! Though Cuby Wan KeDudei is taller than JammieDudeger, unfair advantage huh? Or it that the real relative heights in real life? EDIT: Just for the fun of it, I voted for JD to tie things up.

Thanks MB. Same here, probably my only favorite Coruscant ship. Thanks! Well I also hope to see this in an official set in the near future, I would love to have a Coruscant set involving the shuttlebus. Thanks Big Cam, glad you like it. Thanks for the kind comments prateek! The stickers are ok, but not the perfect of all applications. The glass top does look refreshing for a SW ship, one of the main factors that drew me create this one.

Slytherin Practitioner Carlos Peerce versus Gryffindor Practitioner Ollivander Dippet Round 1 Carlos Peerce | 4 _________________________Ollivander Dippet | 5 Low - 0 _____________________________________High - 1 Protego! - 0__________________________________Protego! - 0 Crucio! - 0___________________________________ Expelliarmus! - 0 Mid - 0______________________________________ Mid - 0 High - 1_____________________________________ Low - 0 Health: 4________________________________Health: 4 It’s the mortal archrivals Gryffindor vs. Slytherin in this duel of the Practitioners from both houses, as Ollivander Dippet tries to end the winning streak of Carlos Peerce, like he did to previously undefeated Ravenclaw Skylar Cisco. The newly appointed Slytherin practitioner starts the festivities with a spell directed towards his opponent’s legs, but Ollivander rightfully read Carlos’ move and casts a quick spell that hits the Slytherin in the head. After a cautious defensive stand with both practitioners cancelling each other’s Protegos, Carlos unleashes a powerful Crucio that Ollivander deflects with an Expelliarmus. Both duelists then casts spells towards each other’s body, sparks flying all over as the attacks cancel out. Trying to gain a significant advantage, the Gryffindor ducks low and points his wand towards Carlo, but the Slytherin immediately leaps and in mid-air throws a dizzying spell that hits Ollivander. Both duelists try to catch their breath as the next round of duel looms… The intense opening round ends with both practitioners tied. Will Carlos keep his record unblemished? Or will Ollivander reign supreme again against his arch nemesis Slytherins? Send in your Round 2 DS when ready. -

Hupplepuff Student Frankrurt Flashburn versus Hupplepuff Student Okay Turkoglu Round 1 Frankfurt Flashburn | 5_________________Okay Turkoglu | 5 High - 0_____________________________Mid - 1 High - 0_____________________________High - 0 Mid - 0______________________________Protego! - 0 Low - 0______________________________Low - 0 Mid - 1______________________________High - 0 Health: 4___________________________Health: 4 The battle of the good Hupplepuffs Frankfurt Flashburn and Okay Turkoglu begins! After two rough starts in the Wizard Duel, Okay begins the duel with a furious spell cast towards Frankfurt's body, who was late to cast his own spell and suffered an early damage from his fellow Hupplepuff. Frankfurt tries to retaliate with a high arching spell only to be countered by the same attack by Okay. Frankfurt continues on his offensive targeting his rival's body which Okay effectively blocks. Okay then unleashes a low sweeping spell but Frankfurt does the same. Wanting to have a significant lead, Okay lunges into the air and aims to hit his opponent in the end, but Frankfurt sees an opening and strikes Okay in the body with a forceful spell that sends his fellow Hupplepuff sprawling onto the ground. The opening round ends dead even, with both duelists dealing each other a single blow. Who shall gain the upperhand in the next round? Send in your DS when ready. -

Ravenclaw Student Jin Chang versus Ravenclaw Student Philius Pylos SUDDEN DEATH! Jin Chang | 3________________________Philius Pylos | 3 Low - 0_____________________________Low - 0 Low - 0_____________________________Protego! - 0 High - 0_____________________________High - 0 Mid - 0______________________________Mid - 0 Low - 0_____________________________Protego! - 0 Health: 3___________________________Health: 3 The end of the this epic duel between the two Ravenclaws are drawing to a close, and they both know it. Both determined to strike the first lethal blow, the two furiously attempts to cast a sweeping spell onto each other's feet, only to cancel each other as sparks fly all through out the room. After the failed attempts, Jin once again tries to target his rival's legs, but Philius effectively blocks with a Protego. Then both duelists remain aggressive as the two meet in mid-air and once again deflecting each other's spells. Immediately after landing on the ground, Philius unleashes a spell towards his opponent's body but Jin does the same. Knowing it's now or never, Jin makes one last attack, sweeping his wand lowly but Philius is quick to defend himself. After the relentless exchange of spells, both Ravenclaws smiled at each other. "It seems this duel cannot be decided at this point in time", says Philius. "Maybe some other time," Jin answers back, as both Ravenclaws tiredly walk away. Wheew! After four full rounds of intense and action-packed duel, we have a DRAW! Both Ravenclaws are dead even and seemed to have perfectly read each other's move. Or it might be their wands need some repair?! Nah, good duel by both you tin7 and Prof. Flitwick! Sorry no one is declared the winner (as per Wizards Duel rules). Just update you character profiles with this Draw. -

CM, could you adjudicate for me and C-Fox? Since I'll be adjudicating for you and Oky. Fair deal I guess. -
Lovely creation Athos! I love the how you managed to capture a textured surface on the rock formation. The classic columnar entrance is very well-built too. Great job!

Oh no, it won't be the last of our duel, I'm pretty sure there will be more to come (and more chances to beat you up Gryffindor). It's just the finale of the trilogy (like in boxing). ---- @ tin7, awaiting your Sudden Death DS. Flitwick has already sent his. FYI, I might not be able to post the results until tomorrow morning (it's 5PM right now here). -
Yeah it does seem it has become a trend that TLG releases a couple of new astromechs per year. This year we got R4-P44 (ARC-170) and R7-D4 (Plo's), and next year we'll get R8-B7 (Mace's) and R2-Q2 (V-Wing). It's really a good way to collect astromechs since they come in relatively affordable sets. Now all we need is a special edition R2-KT...

Ravenclaw Student Jin Chang versus Ravenclaw Student Philius Pylos ROUND 3 Jin Chang | 4________________________Philius Pylos | 4 Mid - 0_____________________________Mid - 0 Mid - 1_____________________________High - 0 High - 0____________________________Mid - 1 Protego! - 0_________________________Protego! - 0 Low - 0____________________________Low - 0 Health: 3___________________________Health: 3 Both Ravenclaws are hungry for their first duel victory, and they start the decisive round both agressively unleashing spells towards each other as sparks fly around when both attacks cancel out. Philius then lunges into the air and attempts to hit his opponent on the head, but Jin finds an opening and strikes his rival on the torso sending him on the ground. Seeing his opponent slow to stand up, Jin immediately casts a spell on Philius head, but the dimunitive Ravenclaw retaliates with a painful body blow of his won. Feeling the effects of each other's hit, both duelists become defensive with similar Protego spells. Badly wanting to win, both Ravenclaws unleashes a low sweeping spell that bounce off each other. Both duelists are catching their breath, but no one is still declared the winner. We're going into Sudden Death! This very close, intense, and seemingly endless duel between the fellow Ravenclaws shall be decided in one last round. The first one to blink dies. (not really). Send in your last DS when ready! -

Star Wars: The Clone Wars: season 3 discussion
XimenaPaulina replied to Corvus's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Same sentiments here. I'm really not a fan of political episodes. I watched it last night online, but didn't even bother to re-watch it (like what I normally do in other epis). I'm just wonderin', if a 'mature' adult fan like me would easily get bored with these type of episodes, how much more the young kids (who have lower attention spans)? I mean, the CW series is mainly targeted to kid audiences, and they expect to 'feed' them with these politics gibberish? I could just imagine the children frowning after haering the closing credits and saying "That's it?" Anyway, sorry for the rant, just speaking out for the kids (and the kid in me). Maybe in the 2012 BPs (or in the later 2011 sets), since there is clearly no chaingun in the upcoming 2011 BP. -
