Lego Custom ALIEN
XimenaPaulina replied to brickplace custom's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Great! I like it a lot! You really captured the overall look of the Alien in minifig-scale. -
Very nice hotel MOC sens1992! I actually like the simple but highly accurate build of that Marriot hotel - it really looks like the real one! And very unique curtain details. Great job!

The legs look much better now, the double clips works perfectly for the clawed feet of Grievous! -

Harry Potter: Wizard's Duel - Character Records
XimenaPaulina replied to ADHO15's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Seductive Slytherin Dark Lady Diana Fabray Health: 6 Spells: Crucio! Expelliarmus! Master Abilities: Toughness Natural Talent Pet: Jabberwocky the Snake Dragon Biography: Born on a very wealthy family, Diana Fabray has always gotten what she wanted in life. As such, she grew up as a spoiled bratinella. Extrovert, adventurous, and sometimes too reckless for her own good, Diana entered Hogwarts as a pureblood, and her reputation seemed to have preceeded her as she was rightfully sorted to Slytherin. Just right after arriving at Hogwarts, she has instantly become the 'IT' girl not only in Slytherin, but in all of Hogwarts, due to her stunning beauty, magnetic sex appeal, and keen sense on high fashion. As a student, she has always struggled in her academics, but strangely excels in the Dark Arts. Despite her flamboyant personality, and unbeknownst to most, she has a soft and compassionate heart which she covers up with her head-strong personality. When it comes to becoming a wizard, she is determined to do (and buy) anything (like her ultra-rare crystal-porcelain wand) to become a succesful one someday. Behind the Scenes: This character is based on this another lovely girl. Duel History: Won - 20 Lost - 20 Details: -
Jedi Youngling Zerb Stratlind versus Jedi Youngling Parama Jandu Round 3 Zerb Stratlind | 4_____________________Parama Jandu | 2 Low - 0_____________________________ High - 1 Parry - 0____________________________ Low - 0 High - 0____________________________ Parry - 0 High - 1_____________________________Low - 0 Mid - 0_____________________________ Parry - 0 Health: 3____________________________Health: 1 Zerb Stratlind could almost taste the victory, and after sensing the diminished endurance of his downed opponent, he quickly dives to strike his rival's legs, but Jandu gathers all of his remaining strength and launches himself into the air, somersaulting in mid-air and strikes Stratlind from above. “Not yet, my friend, not yet”, the re-invigorated youngling said. Jandu immediately followed-up by attempting to attack low, only to be easily countered. Stratlind then swings his lightsaber from the top, which Jandu parries immediately. The determined Stratlind once again goes for an aerial attack and catches Jandu off-guard and deals him a deadly blow. Wanting to end this duel so badly, Stratlind attacks yet again aiming at his opponent’s body, but Jandu deflects the lightsaber one last time. "This duel enough we all have, both younglings showed great courage you have. Stratlind, my initiate you will become.. and so does you Jandu," Master Yoda told the two younglings. Congratulations CorneliusMurdock! You have now moved up to the rank of Jedi Initiate. Valiantly fought cralegoboy, better luck next time. You may now update your character profiles. <Sorry for the mess-up once again>

WIP - My CubeDude Vignette Entry @ FBTB...
XimenaPaulina replied to kyphur's topic in LEGO Star Wars
At first I wasn't able to recognize the GG in your first batch of pics, but after seeing the last one (should've been the intro pic IMO), you really made a very good representation of Grievous in CubeDude form. Very nice use of slopes for the head, as well as the distinct contrast of the 'eyes' that stand out from the white body. Even the red jet trooper is well-built! Great job kyphur! -
Nice! But why only the backside? Where's the rest of the pics? Teasing us ain't cha?
-
Nice and simple, gets the job done. But what is that white head with red cap supposed to be? A mushroom?

WWII Hell's Highway/French Village WIP
XimenaPaulina replied to Daniel Williams's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Pretty darn good MOC Daniel Williams! The tank is amazing! I think the green uniform of the soldiers is actually good for camouflage, just look how the soldiers blend in the green ground. -
Well, even Navy Trooper Fenson (reliable source) acknowledged the unreliability of the source of this Mace JSF info. and

Julius Wechter and the Baja Marimba Band
XimenaPaulina replied to Hound Knight's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
This is just great Hound Knight, I like it very much! I love how you customized the Mexican minifigs to create this Baja Marimba band. Very clever build on the percussion instrument (don't know the exact name of it) and nice improvisation of the antenna piece. Impressive work! -

XimenaPaulina replied to Morgan19's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Very unique and interesting concept Morgan19! Your first four minifigs are amazing, can't wait for the completion of this come Oct. 31st. I bet the 17th one will be the best. I like The Dreamwalker the best so far - really impressive graphic design skills! -
LEGO Darth Vader decals.
XimenaPaulina replied to IronArtist's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Yeah it looks great but I agree with Baylego, there's not much use for it since everyone has Vaders. -
Perfectly done! The eyes of the PoP is spot-on and very clever use of the chain for Scorpion's spear throw.
-
Quite interesting two-way vignette, but I agree the message you're trying to convey is a little vague.

There's Something About 'Missouri'. <corny joke drum roll please> Why you hate it? I love it! Maybe because there isn't any NBA team in Missouri?

Moc: Atlantis Vig
XimenaPaulina replied to Masked Builder's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Very nicely done MB! The rock formation is pretty good, and I just love the swimming-fishes-passing-by-effect - very clever! -
Wow, that's just an awesome creation bort138! The sheer size of that underwater lab is really astonishing, I could just imagine all the time, effort, and resources you've spent to come of with this masterpiece. I like how you deviated from the usual underwater colors and used a yellow-black solor scheme. Truly impressive work!
