  1. Funny, since wen I was watching the episode online, a Scooby-Doo mini-advisory keeps popping up at the bottom of the screen. Yeah, it was a meh episode, glad those Mandalorian episodes are over. Looks like next one will be exciting, I hope it won't disappoint. Looking forward to a great fight scene between Ahsoka and Aurra to somehow make-up for an expected lame story. Huh, but won't that keep people more away from watching because of the lame episodes?
  2. Nice entry The_Customizer. But I just have a couple of suggestions if you don't mind. Clearer pictures would definitely help a lot, plus I think if you put some 'short' minifigs (using the short legs) beside Mark it will emphasize more that he's a tall hobbit. That's it, I wish you good luck in the contest!
  3. DS received, awaiting yours Prof. Oh sorry, I though I already sent you. Anyways, DS sent!
  4. Nice, simple and very cute creation Klementina! When I first saw the pic I thought it's a magic trick biking on top of water (like Cris Angle's fake tricks).
  5. Wow, pretty impressive build! Seeing your MOC I hear Jay-Z and Alicia Keys singing "Empire State of Mind" in the background. Congratulations on pulling off this wonderful masterpiece.
  6. Welcome to Eurobricks Bio.hydroxxon! Enjoy your stay here.
  7. I'll adjudicate for you and CM, just send in your DSs. @CM, already sent DS fro Round 1 vs. CMP.
  8. Agreed. I'm sorry master windu but you've becoming a tad bit annoying with your recent posts, reviving two-year old topics and almost stating everything in the SW universe as your wishlist (to get credit that you correctly predicted it, right?), and then making up this unbelievable unrealistic rumors?!? Oh brother.. People should examine your previous posts just to see how in-credible this new rumors from you are.
  9. Thanks The Red Brick, lightningtiger, melegoninja, dr_spock and CorneliusMurdock for the greetings! Happy birthday to all other celebrants as well! Oh no, I won't go easy on you either, afterall I'm a Sith!
  10. Ah, I was one of the unfortunate ones who suffered in disappointment witnessing the downhill slide of Heroes, . I agree the Clone Wars is still fairly decent, not that spectacular overall, but consistent with the previous two seasons.
  11. Finally, I've been waiting for a male cross-dresser cosplayer, and this one is really nice! Yeah I remember Cammy from Street Fighter, you pretty much got the overall look (except for the face of course). I like the customization you did on the painted hairpiece and beret, and the custom torso, arm, and leg decals. Nice Chun-Li custom too. Good luck in the contest alan!
  12. Perfect representation of yourself in Cube Dude form BlueBard, carbon copy of the one in the pic!
  13. The regular Rancor would be the more sensible choice than the jungles one, if ever TLG releases it. The regular one plays more of a significant role in RoTJ than the mere seconds of exposure of the jungle Rancor in the CW series.
  14. Very nice 50s style truck de-marco! I like the unconventional 5-stud wide car build.
  15. It will depend on your main interest, as I, also being a SW fan, obviously find my inspiration on SW stuff. Occasionally, I would do other non-SW creations that are based on things that I see on the internet, movies, or t.v.
  16. Thanks sok! I think I've scattered some hints on some of the topics here on what I'm working on next. Thanks Flare! Thanks. Yeah the pilot canopy is not available in trans-clear so I have to make do with the trans-black, but it looks ok with the rest of the shuttlebus. And no I only spraypaint onto lego parts as a means of last resort, that's why I still used decals for the windscreen.
  17. That's a pretty good version of a minifig-scale Batmobile mookage, though it kinda looks a bit "stubby" but it's understandable because of the pull-back motor. I'm pretty sure your son enjoys that pull-back motor function eh?
  18. Nice, I like this one better. Looks much better than the round plates.
  19. Yeah I think I should read more about Boba and give him a chance. The fact is both bounty hunters are great and it's really difficult comparing them since they are from different eras and took different paths towards being the best bounty hunter during their times. It's just like comparing the greatness of Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain or Lebron James vs. Kobe Bryant (in basketball), all players are great in their own way andnobody can take away their greatness. Well, it was a good exchange of views Doc, you have defended Boba very well and I hope I did also for Bane, I did this to speak on behalf of the "9-year-old" kids and other CW fans as well. (and please, not all CW fans are kids, kids-at-heart definitely!)
  20. I know you're not one of those Boba fans, you have shown you can defend your pick with sensible arguments (unlike others). His skills seem really impressive, and good for you you know your bounty hunter. I just hope ordinary fans like me would have known those feats on a mainstream level. But I just can't help but think these stories were just made to substantiate the mystique of Boba (who was unexpectedly popular even Lucas didn't expect the huge fandom/following). Still, it does not take away the fact that Boba is a great bounty hunter and the same way Bane is also.
  21. Unrealistic maybe, but what is realistic in a fictional setting anyway? It's how they presented both Bounty Hunters that should be the basis of comparing them. I know it's not Boba's fault that his exposure in the movies are a bit lame, but most Boba fans are just basing their votes on the 'mystique' of the character and not on the actual skill shown in the movies. On the other hand, Cad Bane, did have the unfair advantage of having more exposure, and how the CW team depicted him is really a badass, cold-blooded, tactical, and skillful bounty hunter and no one could ever deny that. There is a factual basis why I vote for Bane and not just like the Boba fans that vote just because Boba is 'popular' and 'cool'. It's like front only without any substance. Sorry for the strong words, but I have yet to read a strong argument that'll convince me that Boba is better than Bane. Which most fans don't know and therefore lessens how other fans perceive Boba. If I had seen that in a movie or something I would have been convinced. Come to think of it, if he was that good how come his representation in RoTJ is so lame that he even can't beat an unexperienced jedi in Luke?
  22. And then made the silly hell out of two High ranking Jedi in Mace and Obi when he easily escaped from both, which can be attributed to his uncanny deceptive 'skill'. Can you say that about Boba?
  23. The whole build is already great as it is! I doubt people would even notice the missing layer of grid around the facility, since we are already in awe with the current set-up. But since I understand you're up for accuracy perfection, then do what you need to in order to improve the already impressive MOC.
  24. Yeah there is always the possibility that it could be true. And I agree that the Endor and Geonosis sets might be large BPs ala-Battle of Naboo-style. I actually would like to have the Geonosis set to be Point Rain style and not the AOTC since it'll offer a lot more new possibilities = a prefect way to finally get Ki-Adi and these new specialised clone troopers (Comm. Jet - special ops helmet and the Camo-ARFs Waxer and Boil):
  25. I think that was the problem, he clicked the Reply button (thus quoting the whole review) instead of clicking the Add Reply button (the right thing to do). I understand it gets confusing sometimes as I even make the same mistake every once in a while. But still, it is the poster's responsibility to review his post before and after posting it. I think we'd get the more significant Rancor from Jabba's Palace first before we'd ever get this minor background creature with mere seconds of exposure.
