Well if it's not a low member creation number, and it's not scheduled site maintenance (for I just visited every site I visit I on a daily basis, saving BZ for last and slamming into an error message that took 3 retries to escape) ...no idea.

You have no idea how alien that concept is to me. Really, Fall 2002. Returning from the downtime of the Maori "hacking" event. That was the END of the site acting stable for me. And in these past 6 years I've had a myriad of different computers, different operating systems, different browsers, different internet connections... Right this second for instance, I have about 20 Firefox tabs open, all different sites, some quite large, some heavily graphics-laden, all working 100% fine. But BZ's tab is a white screen I hit refresh on every 3 minutes or so. Maybe... possibly... it could have something abstract to do with a person's account creation date?

Without getting all irate and conflicty and stuff... does anyone else but me think that once you exit the blog area and go out into the main board... that the thing is practically non-functional? I mean, I used to like voting in contests, but it started becoming a chore (since 2002 lol?), getting redirected to the server message or just getting white screens, etc, etc. The other day I was pooping around in the blogs and was, "Hey... these run so much better than the rest of BZ... what they hell, I'll give it a try again, for old time's sake." I got up to maybe Poll G and it went to hell in a handbasket. I think I wound up having to vote on the same poll 3 times until it finally took. Well, I THINK it took... Regardless, I tried navigating to the rest but just had to get the hell out of there... not voting on the remaining 9 million polls. Are the blogs hosted on a different location... or something? Sure, they screw up, even badly time to time, but not like the rest of the place I don't think.

OMG my foresight back in July hit it! And the pose he's in! Even the color was right! I R PSYCHIC! lol... Kind... of... It's a Glatorian-sized peahead (which is still awesome) but that's not to say it won't be designed respectfully to the Ignika's original look.

Man, me too. You see the same sets over n over... you think you've seen all there is to see... but then someone puts them into some stately pose that makes you appreciate / want them more. Anyone have an image of The 2001 or the Bohrok Kal canisters with the CD-rom logo on them? Also, the Rakshi promo purple slug canister... I'm trying to see if the logo on these new ones in any way resemble the old.

It's a gift, to make your job easier. You can always tell when a Lego leak is about to happen by how this topic degenerates. In this case, the indicator here was when people started posting cutesy loli characters shooting menstrual blood out. Not too long after, BAM! New set pics. ...It's all very scientific...

You guys need to learn how to screencap. lol Never heard about that. Wonder if it was verified?

The guys on the top row appear to have regular Thornax balls.... but am I wrong in thinking the ones on the bottom 3 aren't gold and black?

Kiina, Mata Nui and to a point Vastus appear to have silver weapons. Gelu has TWO of those dark snowflakes! Everyone seems to have Thornax launchers. I like Mata Nui.... for the colors (gold and brown, I think) and his overall shape. The head doesn't bother me, even if (what looks like) a silver Malum claw does. I was hoping silver would DIE a little harder.

I hope the silver thing on them indicates a mini CD-Rom like some of the 2001 guys and the Bohrok Kal had. It looks like if anyone wants a gold Ignika mask, they have to buy a gold marker. : p

I want a closeup of Mata Nui's (and I think maybe the red guy's?) lower legs. Damn they're cool. That silver seal on them... it looks like the word in the middle is "LEGENDS".

Hahaha... it was just a matter of time. And it's not even Xmas. My eyes spy... new (freaking cool) leg armor for two and some sort of pack-in promo? And no gold Ignika mask on Mats. The shoulder armor on Mats looks like the crescents from the Bionicle logo, yes?

I would've liked it more if they'd given him two arms to have the cannons swing up onto his shoulders from behind, followed by him grabbing them with his regular arms while in battle. That'd have been cool. Well that was strange of them. Either his popularity was so low that they wanted to erase his existence, or maybe there's a kind of design flaw they felt needed fixing. Interesting. Wish I had both parts in front of me to analyze side by side.

2 VERY distinct cases of FAIL come to mind. First, obviously, those godawful Metrutoran. They were HOLLOW, BACKLESS SHELLS! I never thought something so shitty could have been designed, right after the Mctoran got an awesome upgrade for the movieToran. So sad... so very, very sad. The other one that crawls up my butt is THIS guy: Hey, I just saw a cool guy in a movie. I want him as a set. What's this? The Beast Wars Transmetal Megatron-lookin' thing actually looks like THIS in set form? The HELL?!? It's not even the same colors! Inexcusable... Even if it didn't have any correlation to a movie character and you removed their official response of, "It was the movie guys' fault! They got too creative on us!", leaving this merely as JUST a set... it's still absolutely ridiculous. (Heh... looking now at the old pic of the movie dude... the feet look like those newer blade parts... the shins look like those other newer parts... with perhaps the exception of the wings, this could be moced pretty closely nowadays. Unfortunately thogh, integral parts are still not in the right color or ever will be... purple. V__V )

Look at it this way... the real big news right now for kids is to see new set reviews. A colorist interview is more of a slow news day thing. Not only that, this is all going on on a weekend. People get busy on their weekends, if there's any response at all. Kinda' like how you need help with something you bought late on a Thursday, don't get around to calling until Friday, then find out they're closed until Monday. Certainly the site has some odd, infuriating, long-term, why-is-this-still-going-on type of issues to validly complain about... but this one is a stretch. I hope this isn't the end of the series. I haven't lost interest yet. I dunno' man... the ship at the end. Here we have tons of such things being reported in the news (assuming you actively keep tabs on such news)... and here it is busting it's way into Terminator of all places. Seems a bit forced. But I'm open to it not being a trainwreck yet. Didn't mind the Riley part. I can say I wasn't expecting her origins. Her actions were not out of character I'd say. It almost felt like they might go where they did with her while she was yelling at her foster folks about bleached skulls though lol. I do find it unlikely that Cameron hasn't already done an in-depth investigation on Riley by this time, especially with the emotions of a rivalry.

Hmm... so the frighteningly massive quality control problems aren't confined merely to Bionicle ball sockets then. And when the replacements of the originals break, then you feel like a meanie for bothering Lego for MORE replacements, don't you? Heh... your post has inspired me to get replacement replacements from them now. I tell you... Lego's not going to get the quality up until some kid eats a broken piece and chokes...
