Oh... oh god. First Lego. Then Squaresoft. Now Transformers. The BASTARDS. I swear, if I ever gained some like, cosmic kind of wishing power, the first thing I'd do is destroy the Illuminati before they began... THEN second it'd be Disney's megablocks. Ugh. Man... Yeeeeeah, dude. Especially the 4 cassette combiners, who all got hit SUPER-HARD with an uglystick. Trust me, these toys ARE in fact worse in person: SLAMDANCE DECIBEL and LEGOUT SQUAWKBOX

Lol @ how they build the minifig just so they didn't have to include hands. X D I'm kinda' stumped why people can't distribute the clearer pics though. It's the same sets in the same poses, they just don't look like megablocks. I'm not even sure if anyone can discuss the green canister guy's sidekick set, Tarduk.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles -- SPOILER ALERT !
JINZONINGEN73 replied to SWMAN's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I'm into episode 6 now of the first season... I'm pretty surprised. I'm not feeling embarrassed at anything "stupid" like every other "serious" tv show does. It's been so long since I ENJOYED a show. Noticed in episode 2, a Terminator scans Cameron and his display says something like "undetermined cyborg". I still say Cameron's like a freedom fighter whose mind and body were so messed up that they gave her a new body. If she starts having flashbacks to scenes hidden by amnesia, I would NOT be shocked. In episode 5, I was getting into the action scene near the end with the inmate Terminator who just got restrained, and wound up laughing out loud when Cameron broke the moment with, "Get me a toolbox!". This show so far makes up for the 3rd movie. I didn't HATE the movie, it just... ah, I dunno'. It was no T2. This is. -
Ew, is that really the symbols on the life counter? I hadn't looked that close.
-
Further supporting the idea that Lego probably releases all these leaks themselves, is it coincidence that BZ allows discussion of these sets once kaleidoshop (as usual) gets pics of them online? Or has it always been like that? (Actually, I'm not even sure what BZ's spoiler rules are...)
-
This is a Bionicle 2009 images and discussions topic. Of COURSE there's spoilers in here, unless you're a visitor from the year 2010! As for the things in the corners of the package... they're all life counters, but I do have to admit that the black one looks different than the one we saw in the earlier (better) catalog pics a month ago. Maybe there's "good" and "bad" ones?

http://www.flickr.com/groups/818883@N25/pool/ No images of 8974 Tarduk? It's not even on kaleidoshop's ordering page. http://www.flickr.com/photos/29805279@N06/...pool-818883@N25

Pretty sure that's lime, unless it's been changed. http://www.flickr.com/photos/29805279@N06/...pool-818883@N25

So, to sum up the ending:
-
I'm guessing that's it for them for awhile. Mata Nui will likely be boppin' around in Glatorian-land, getting back home a few years from now and finding some of the old characters dead and or corrupted.
-
ONE of these guys (I think) are Strakk. I think. Hard to tell. There's like, NO attempt to do anything to build character association like Bionicle does.
-
I'm guessing that as the web designer (and it is him, I checked) he could probably do well to peruse these boards to see what content is leaking out from that site, be it bad coding or a completely accidental oversight he needs to patch up. Like when they plan to do an exclusive, grand unveiling of new or really special sets... only pics of them are already on their site and being passed around. >__<
-
Bah, it's like, one of Lego's most successful, profitable toy lines ever. Quick! Someone post new spoilers so I forget that all the ball connectors in my brand new sets are breaking!
-
Well Antrozek, that's kind of what it's looked like for a long time now... that Bionicle probably ends, Glatorian begins.

Is packaging made of gold in France?
JINZONINGEN73 replied to Hinckley's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Whenever I bought like Transformers decoys or whatnot from France off eBay, it ALWAYS cost me an arm and a leg. I stopped buying anything from France altogether. 600 choo-choo tracks? Damn, that's a big pakage! -
This is one moc that would benefit greatly from the pre-molded hands in the Glatorian sets next year. Everyone used to use minifig arms as fingers, then the ExoForce robot arms and still more using minifig hands... but actual, Transformers style hands are what's been holding back excellent mocs like these from really driving things home. In any case, the detail and, well, everything about this scream Hyaku Shiki. That was one of the first Gundam models I ever had, (a gold chrome, BB launcher, super-deformed samurai version, anyway).

The three most memorable moments in a video game for you
JINZONINGEN73 replied to AgentRick's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I love you. AND, you just made me remember a very nice, very similar moment... in the continuing story of Bubble Bobble, "Parasol Stars", on the Turbografx 16. Getting up to the end by using "player 2" to get the special door and hearing that beautiful song during the credits, as only the Turbo's unique sound engine could deliver. Really brings a tug to my heart, replaying that in my head. -
See, this is where I'm gettin' confused. It's "totally unofficial"... but it was on their servers and they wanted it removed because it wasn't supposed to be released yet? What? This makes no sense whatsoever lol. Although, I guess he means it's premature, unscheduled release is the thing that was unofficial.

Well, you happen to be in luck as I have NO idea what a BZP PBM even is. Peanut Butter Monster. Prepubescent Boy Man. Partially Baked Meatloaf. Pungent Bowel Movement. Pretty Boring Moron. Previously... ... ...ooooOOOOOoooh, Previously Banned Member? This is Eurobricks. You could have posted pics on BZ of your mom in the shower with a farm animal and it wouldn't mean anything here. Different site. As long as you're not a known hacker over there or something, you've got a clean slate here to do as you wish. Of course that still means you have to be a good member here, but you know what I mean. Now on a side note, I see you have "Youtube poopie!" under your avatar. I hope you weren't the author of this post I caught on BZPower one day...

Oh snap, was this another case of them putting early stuff up on their own server for all to see?!?
-
If this is supposedly a leak that they're very concerned about, any idea how it got out in the first place? If this is supposedly a leak that they're very concerned about, any idea how it got out in the first place? *coughRUSSIAN SITE* *coughRUSSIAN SITE* *cough* I've GOT to get rid of this damn cold. I'm guessing it's legit, but I can't help but notice the spelling of "illegally" and the fact that apostrophes have turned into commas. Go figure.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles -- SPOILER ALERT !
JINZONINGEN73 replied to SWMAN's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Well, I dl'ed the first episode of Season one and I have to say I liked it. 2 things though... --It REALLY felt like a flashback episode to all the movies that came before it, scene by scene. Bank vault and safe deposit boxes? Crypt with coffins. Gas station scene, programmer's house scene, etc etc... Mind you, that's good. I'm just hungry now to see what the rest of the episodes are possibly going to do / have done. --The Terminator chick... I'm not buying that she's all robot. Terminator 1 - metal robot Terminator 2 - liquid nanite robot Terminator 3 - metal / liquid nanite robot This series... "I'm different". I take this as she's not just a metal robot. It would not be shocking to find an episode in the future where she gets killed, only to have John find she had a human brain inside, like a chick that dug him and was severely injured in some battle. I'm talking cyborg here, people. And really, those poor future humans could really use a technology like that. ::runs off to figure out what to delete on HD to make room for rest of episodes:: (Burner's broke.) >__< Well, I dl'ed the first episode of Season one and I have to say I liked it. 2 things though... --It REALLY felt like a flashback episode to all the movies that came before it, scene by scene. I'm poor, that's what happened lol. Every few months we'd... uh... "lose" internet access and I'd be bye bye for good chunks of a year. I think BR said it was just a security measure to lop me off. In all the time I'm gone, it'd be pretty fun if someone were to be trying my password all day, every day... and managed to get it. Can you imagine? Lol. I don't know if it's really Kelly but granted, bopping around here, you'll definitely see things even Lego employees aren't aware of yet. If it's really you, you might want to refrain from posting here. I honestly don't know if a person with the job you have would run into problems with the bosses for openly associating yourself with us. Your bosses might be cool, but use your discretion. Like being the mod of the BBC forum and temporarily getting banned (man, do NOT get me started) from the BBC forum? 3 years later, I'm still pissed. Then again, it's how I wound up here, actually. Indeed. Look, I know many have valid complaints that can be lodged about BZ, but a smart person can complain about things they think are wrong without using names in the equation. This thread's about "are you a member there?", let's not deviate too far from that, ok? And for the love of christ, don't use me as a role model on how to do this. I bite my tongue so hard on this subject that it feels like I'm going to sever it. http://www.bzpower.com/forum/index.php?aut...&&st=30 Do0d, I'll POUND you! Lol, let's see if Zip says ok. You'd be in luck though, the ItB kitties are big now, knocking down bins of my Lego like every few hours. I'm going batty. What a handicap.

I go "active" on BZ every few years, but I can't take it very long. I wind up getting moderated a lot and posts disappear... while way worse stuff is being said right above and below. Bleh. You can now say stuff "blows" and there's a ton more leniency with language and expression there than the site's had in the past, but bleh. I found the blogs they have there now interesting, but then you have MEMBERS deleting stuff too! Like, I'll sit there an hour talking to someone, then the member who owns the blog comes on and starts deleting ALL of the conversation. Thanks? Then there's the 900 bloggers who post for sympathy about problems in their life, but then don't respond to advice you give. In other words, total attention whores. Kids, man. Kids. Small kids.

Closing.
