Oh, Tyranide... how dependable you are. Kaxium's megablocking adorable, what with the little sidecar rider buddy. I like how all of these are desert-wasteland, Mad Max-lookin' junk. The way they're all pretty much 1-rider vehicles... I just picture a whole buttload of them riding across the horizon, kicking up a giant dust cloud on their way to pillage some place. And more tan parts!

Make some physically threatening statements towards other members, be rude in moc topics towards builders, continue with racist remarks after being told to stop and post 1-word spam over and over and I'll be sure to accommodate you similarly. Seriously though, I hate bannings... BUT... I hate having enough reason to deliver one even more. Let's all just move along now...

And Metus looks like "meatus". Only thing that would be cooler than that is a tall set named "Phallos". I'm just looking at them and thinking, "Mmmm, Godzilla spines...". Yeah, but I do have to admit though... I liked it better during the prototype pics era of like last July, when I still thought the torso was light metal blue, along the lines of the Super Battledroid color...

BAM! Right there. Truth. I think BZ will only get better on this. I mean, by bending over for Lego they do get SOME benefits, but anyone paying attention every time their server dies for the day (or when we start dropping links over here...) you can't HELP but notice the tidal wave of migrating members. And one looks silly, moderating "leaks" that come from officially released Lego catalogs and magazines... to say nothing of moderating topics showing pics from Lego's website that are out in extreme public view... not even talking all the gems one can find by playing with characters in the address bar hiding on their server... I mean stuff like the "play feature" Summer set. Not letting kids discuss a pic they found of a guy who looks like the blue guy from this year but with a red mask is ludicrous. Look at it this way... if the topic ran "normal", it would look like this: "I'm supapoopanui 5887 on BZ." "Tahu Saiyan Delta". "I'm Gali Gali 2X. Hi!" "recycled cola soda can here" And that's terrible. Now spam... pure spam... that's where the line's being drawn. Off topic is "cute". Spam is a nightmare.

Geez, I don't mind the topic getting derailed now and then with off-topic stuff, but post after post of spam? I gotta' sleep sometimes, you know. And Pencoin... you need to cool off awhile. Allow me to help you.

Welcome! I took that to mean there'd be the summer set, then maybe like a kickass, UCS System set or something a few years later... but if the "2 in the same year" thing is right, that'd be pretty cool too, especially since so many have expressed interest for a gold Ignika mask.

I kind of like it myself. He's OWED that response. He was the victim, so I find any butt-hurt comments coming from the severity of his retaliation by those who started the ball rolling pretty humorous. Like beating up a bully and having them fall on the ground crying, "I give! I give! Mooooooooooooom!" But hey, lol... new site, clean slate. Don't let it go any further than it has. I'd say something pervy like, "I'll be the mayonnaise." ...but I can't STAND mayonnaise.

Yeah, I'm glad that they're symmetrical as well as based more on "shape" to look alien than just painting a bunch of ugly faces and or circuitry all over like they usually do. It's a REALLY GREAT idea, making an in-house Lego space line that is not Star Wars, but with minifigs nearly as interesting-looking as Star Wars. Take that Agents Helicopter backpack thingie set that's out. Would I but it normally? Probably not. Would I buy it after noticing the enemy has a STRAIGHT mecha arm element? I did lol. Would've bought a second one to get a second arm, if they'd had more on the shelf. Same with this Space Police set shown. New cool helmet/alien head element = I'll probably buy it... which is funny, because I'm not even a hardcore minifig customizer.

Seriously, the dark, backwards image sure looks like a regular old ball socket sticking up. I mean, is that not an axle peg? I don't see a Glatorian head at all, shitty quality pic or not. Maybe it's a new piece, as was suggested. On a side note, I wonder if one could safely recolor a silver Ignika to look more yellow (without using paint or markers lol) by like letting it sit in some kind of sulfurous mixture a few days?

Doubt it. May be stronger, yes, but it's still... something. >_> ~Bunda Metallic leg? Well, while hopeful, I was really hoping on not seeing any of the stuff described. I hope this isn't a law of averages kind of thing, where like each poster that speaks up = 10,000 people or something. Also, LOL @ this kid still having a sig asking people to vote for a moc I made in 2005. X D http://www.bzpower.com/forum/index.php?s=&...t&p=6265240

It's the damn fluoride in the water. NO! It's the aluminum, barium, strontium chemtrails being covertly sprayed across our country. OR... there's just a bunch of people in the ad and entertainment industries that are megablocking clueless. Honestly, I found commercials so... eh... condescendingly retarded as these to be just that, condescendingly retarded even when I was a kid watching TV. It actually made me HATE products, vowing never to buy them. Idiot kids running around with their eyes crossed while with two Pringles chips? Sunny D commercials with "teenagers" acting like morons and that you'd SWEAR were in fact in their ? Boycott lol. What I'm trying to say Pencoin is... cut it with the "Yanks suck, Americans are stupid" comments. We are so much more than our terrible popular media products and corrupt politicians. Keep it up and I'll dock proto. ... ... ...wait, what's the equivalent of docking proto here? Hmm... lol. Yeah, stop.

I think you you just summed up every aspect of the Bionicle line in that one sentence. On a completely unrelated note, you weren't joking about that Tuma review video. Did... did... Smeag say, "shit" when they were talking first about Maxilos? (Or maybe The Maxx... hard to tell). I replayed that part like 10 times. Nikira says, "you, you.. you" right after he finishes.
-
To say nothing of the positive media exposure that would possibly occur after it. "Lego takes brave step forward... removes violence from popular, high-selling line of war toys". I used to have it as a sig. Now that you mention it, it does apply lol. "Any intelligent fool can make things bigger and more complex... It takes a touch of genius - and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction."
-
I'm guessing it is... whatever that "under construction" thing is... Never heard of it before and probably never will again. Closing. PS- Welcome to Eurobricks!

I remember suggesting, wow, like YEARS ago... that it'd be cool for some end boss type dude to get defeated, followed by the Bionicle line concentrating on a time of "peace". The argument against it was, "WHAT? NO WAR? That'd be BORING!!!" But I disagree. You could still have "armed" character sets, as overlookers to sets that were more involved with daily life activities, or some sort of specific task... mining or something. It wouldn't even have to STAY that way but a year or two. War can always be gone back to at any moment. It'd take a leap of faith and a bit of bravery n Lego's part to turn a line of war toys backwards in direction. I wonder if such a concept has ever even been done in a toyline before? But alas, this takes a kind of visionary skill that I don't feel Lego has at it's disposal to execute properly. It would be pretty cool though. If done right, you could TOTALLY have "Town" type System sets that would sell better than the past Bionicle System sets sold. It'd be a great segue-way to have System people take Bionicle sets home for the parts and Bionicle people take System more seriously. (cross-marketing!) ::sits Lewa on farm tractor to till the Thornax patch::

Yeah, if everything had turned out alright, it would've have been as lame as a classic videogame ending where you just played 2 hours and get a screen saying, "Good job! Thanks for playing!". THIS was memorable. The whole thing has to be much more epic before they give a happy ending.

Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures...

I was hoping for a return to an older one, just to piss off all the new fangirls. -
How did you like the Clone Wars TV series?

Indeed, it is GR35H1 Nice pics, except for the occasional cut off foot. Thanks for the dynamic hand posing... how people can say the new fists suck and simply having ball sockets is somehow "good" is a concept WAY beyond me.

Maybe not, but most Transformers, any of them, made inside the same year don't usually have joints cracking. There's cheaper toys made more cheaply with cheaper plastic that don't break this bad. We're looking at poor design of the ball sockets combined with cost-cutting that's inexcusable. Ooh, that's bad. I've reordered MANY replacement parts from them... and some of my replacement parts are broke. >__< And most assuredly, there'll be replacement replacement parts breakage. According to Bink, they "are aware of the problem" and quality will rise every year from this point forward. Good news, if true. NOW... I really hope they redesign the ball sockets back to the original functionality, when we could stick 1x1 circular bricks in them. It's nice being able to "cover" the hole on the side so as to hide the color of the arm, to make the connection point's color solid.

Box difference between US and the world
JINZONINGEN73 replied to Motti's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Could just be different executives in the company from different countries having different marketing opinions. While piece counts are a plus, I do have to admit it once swayed my purchase of a more expensive set over to a cheaper one. Yet it has at times also sold me on buying a Lego set period where I may have bought none. So, it's understandable that a slight altering in perspective can favor one way or the other with packaging. -
4chan is about... well, oftentimes darker things. A good bit of hilarious, but the stomach-churning, humiliating stuff you're referencing too. THIS however, hails from a T-shirt store. Cute T-shirts. Not fat, nerdy guys lifting up their Guy Fawkes masks to lick their computer monitor. http://www.marichan.com/shop.html The artist is a 31 year old chick in Japan who likes to draw "cute". This is exactly why I sank Gunnar's link one click in, in the covert hopes anyone paying attention would see there's DOZENS of pics from this artist and realize the context of the pic. It's art. It's cute. It's a little gross, but humorous too. The character appears underage, but the artist draws "people" like that. Geez. Things are sometimes only as dark as one wants to make them. You see something filthy and dark. I see light-hearted feminine art. EDIT: And in case no one notices, the "under-age" girl in the original pic is the artist HERSELF. The "blood" is made up of all the characters she created.

I loved them, but they were and still are "average" action figures. Agori sets and Tahu... ---limbs with no knee, elbow or waist movement. ---similar-colored weapon. Tahu: --can you can actually use as part of Lego building experience. Agori: --Crap. Crap containers aimed for a landfill. Wasted plastic. Tahu: --Acht! Ah can't turn me neck! Agori: --*swivel swivel swivel* Tahu: --No freaking hands. >__< Agori: --::punches you in face:: So yeah, fairly similar. Both fun toys. Tahu is more conducive to wanting to build (as in, buy more Lego sets). At least for me.
