  1. Did you get the name? If it was Daenerys, the babies could have been named after her nickname, Dani. I don't think neither are bad names, although Daenerys might appear strange to some.
  2. What? The part he made 2 of, does exist, although it has friction ridges and the part he cut appears to not have that. Do I misunderstand your line?
  3. 42009 still isn't at TRU, as you probably have seen yourself. But I'll look out for it to appear there.
  4. Either way, I don't think the people who answer phone calls at the customer service have anything to do with productions. They can't give you the motors any faster.
  5. I think the size of the Unimog and the new crane, and the part count of the crane, should be the maximum size and part count. If it's exceeded, the models will just become too expensive for people to buy. Looking at the price of those 2 models in my currency, it is at the peak of what a Technic set should cost. Besides, personally I prefer a middle-sized set that offers playability and fun, with the Unimog and Mobile Crane MK II as the maximum size and part count, rather than sets that keep getting bigger and bigger. Eventually no one will be able to purchase those sets, and then the purpose is gone. Unless Lego eventually find a plastic that can be used to make stronger parts, I think the Unimog and Mobile Crane MK II should be the top concerning size and parts count.
  6. The BL-stores I have been to, have stated that items listed as used are in a very good condition with no significant signs of usage unless stated otherwise. Did those cracked tires come from sellers who said they were in a good shape, and may have lied, or could they have checked the tires and failed to notice cracks, you think? Either way, I only buy items listed as new. I don't wanna waste money on used items that may have damages, and I haven't had the need of items I can only get used anyway.
  7. I too have read that TRU in Norway price Lego lower than the Lego store, opposite to USA. I'll definitely check the different stores I have visited before, before I make up my mind as to where to buy it from.
  8. The rims are the same one for both sizes, and yes, they have 6 pin holes.
  9. Btw, is the rims and the tires the same size as the big tires on the 8069 Backhoe Loader? They look bigger.
  10. It is an astonishing model. I spent my final high school year at the construction machine operator line, and I have operated a few front loaders up to the size this model would be at if it was in full size. I would love to get my hands on this model myself :D
  11. I haven't read anything about the 9398 being limited, so if they put a limit of 5 per customer on a non-limited set, they should at least put a limit of 2 per customer on the 41999 which is limited. That's the most fair, giving more people the chance to get it.
  12. Maybe the quality of Lego Customer Service varies depending on where you're from, which people work there and how they are. Maybe it is like with other similar services - they could have hired the wrong person or something, and sometimes, he/she makes it difficult for those who call in and have questions.
  13. Impressive work the landscape looks really nice and the walls and towers are very realistic.
  14. Really impressive work! I've been interested in this castle since I bought a 1500 brick puzzle with a pic of the castle, it looks really great. Your MOC resembles the castle very well, great work
  15. The system combining both wheel and HoG steering is genius! I haven't seen it before, and I don't have the imagination or skill to build that
  16. Me no understand under quote It's been stated that the 2H sets will be available to buy at August 1st.
  17. Received a Bricklink-order today for a bunch of Technic-parts.
  18. Ok, thanks. I've always had a thing for excavators as well
  19. Do you recommend buying 42006? I'm considering it.
  20. I have a high school education, and I'm an AFOL
  21. Happy 1 day after 4th of July!
  22. The Unimog was also 1699 NOK at lekmer.no, where I got it. I used them because the Unimog had a discount of 19 %, and was at 1379 NOK. I see the discount is still there. And I agree with Traktor, it's unlikely that I'll use lego.no, or lego.com/nb-no/ as it says in my browser, to buy the 42009. 1899 NOK is too much. The problem is that a possible discount somewhere will probably be far away, maybe not until next year, and I don't wanna wait that long! I got some spare money back on my taxes, so if I exclude those, I'm a bit under what I paid for the Unimog, so it's not that bad really.
