  1. "Hold yer horses friend, we're here to collect on the gold, here are you are, one werewolf paw and one dementor cowl. The rest of the beasts are back at our camp." Skrall spots the centaur and gives a low whistle. "Well, well, ya caught a centaur, lookie there, how long it take you ta catch 'er, she'll make a fine prize for sure." Skrall shows the bandits the note the Party found earlier, hoping to avoid the conflict. Whispering off to the side he calms Dyric, "Hold yer weapon mate, let's see if we can work this out sensible like first." Turning back to the other party, Skrall addresses them, "Don't mind the rogue he's just practicin' his whip technique, and sure did we need 'em. Why if it weren't for that whip, we'd be manticore food by now."
  2. "Aye to the last path, straight on to whatever nefarious beast or villain it may lead to."
  3. I agree that we should all feel free to build what ever we want to contribute to the guild and I fully intend on doing so once I finish up my tower. I'm more for the titles based upon making Moc's, but if those Moc's should be themed around one of the titles that Basiliscus suggested than feel free to use it. That all said, I whole heartedly agree that we should aim for quality over quantity, perhaps there is a more balanced approach? Can't we all just commit to make awesome Moc's and not worry about rushing to earn the most titles Maybe we could have a system where it takes three or four approvals from guild members for a Moc to qualify as title worthy. That way people can build as many Moc's as fast as they like, but they will have to stand up to the standard of the guild to qualify. That way people will read and comment on each other's mocs. Would it be too much for folks to edit their Moc's posts with how many approvals they have? Update on watchtower, keep in mind this is an early WIP so let me know what you think of the general color scheme architecture, so on and so forth. The setting is for the edge of the desert/easter mountain region. If parts allow I'll probably add 1 more story to it.
  4. When all else fails, throw in a random battle, that at least keeps everybody busy for a few hours or so.
  5. "Well now this is a lovely surprise. Seein' as how Althior you've already got quite a full load of gems at yer disposal, I'm goin' hand this one off to Bob," Skrall stated as he tossed the opal over to the house elf. "However, knowin' how you've been lately, I'm goin' give you the Nostrum Althior. Hopefully this will improve yer luck. I'll hold onto the Pheonix Essence fer now, and if we don't need it I'll give it to one of ya when we get out of these woods."
  6. @VolcanicPanik Some of us are already at odds with each other, at least in character, just because we inhabbit the hall, doesn't mean all the characters are going to be buddy buddy.
  7. "Alright all you know what to do, break out the blankets we're goin' have a picnic Althior see if you can turn up anything buried while I look around for any friendly beasties to chit chat with."
  8. Yes, just in time for winter break. I'm looking forward to getting back into some mafia action.
  9. "Aye back to the intersection, we'll try the right hand path this time."
  10. By Dextrus Flagg's beard, what manner of creature is that. What ever it is, does it keep away Drow?
  11. Skrall attempts to glean any information he can from the inhabitants of the clearing.
  12. Oh I guess that makes more sense, I thought that "expires at the end of the quest" meant you lose your level increase at the end sort of like you lose the encouraged effect from a mead once a battle has ended, I guess I'll leave it for Jeb to clarify. What does V stand for anyway?
  13. The least he could have done is make it a permanent level increase. Ah well, lovers are over-rated in anyways, ask Skrall, there's a reason he left home.
  14. "Well I've got to say that's the first time I've seen a compass spin, maybe the needle's still pointin' in the right direction. Ah well, to the left"
  15. Remind me never to have Skrall sign-up for one of your quests, he may be forced to endure his children and wife or some horrible task like that.

  16. This blows all the life altering choices offered by the other QM's out of the water. Poor Haldor, if only he hadn't signed up for the Wolfgang quest, En Sabeh Nur's humor seems to follow him where ever he goes In other news, the final class choices are looking great, I had wondered about the rogue/barbarian mix but the raider makes sense. Now I can't wait to see all the stats.
  17. "Althior? Bob while we wait for the sullen mage why don't you drink yer potion." Skrall was beginning to get unnerved at the Althior's demeanor, he hadn't said much since the end of the battle that he had so decisively finished and was constantly flicking around his knife, even Finnegan had seemed uneasy. Had the shock of Althior's success been too much for him? What ever it was, Skrall was going to keep his crossbow at the ready should the mage do something drastic or turn rogue (figuratively speaking at least).
  18. I concur, the stone stair case is quite lovely. Avalonia is sure cranking these things out.
  19. You can say your just signing up and then declare which guild you'd like to join and then go post your avatar and whatever tasks or things you want in that specific guild, or I think the consensus is you can declare you are signing up and that you don't care which guild you join and then you'll be assigned one, though I think the latter option has not really been utilized very much, most people have a preference.
  20. Skrall glances over at Althior, "What's with the dark an mysterious broodin', Mage? What happened to yer ever so chipper happy go lucky attitude, did Finnegan spoil the tea again?"
  21. "Well if nobody's spotted anythin' lookin' around I say we follow the path that leads from the clearin', that is of course after Mr. Rone over there downs his potion." OOC: Signiture update, I should have no venom left, I used my last one in the past fight.
  22. My, my, the Mitgardians are becoming almost as aggresive as those eastern dwellers. Our caravans are still willing to do trade with the other guilds but should this attitude continue, you may leave us with no choice but to establish an embargo. On another note, I am pleased with how this guild has been developing, if I had had more white bricks and flags I would have definately joined you. Keep up the good work
  23. "Aye why don't you give diggin' a try Althior?"
  24. I wasn't going to go looking through all the pages for the exact quote, but yes shields may be upgraded just like weapons.
  25. Feel free, there's a few more pictures detailing the beast here when moderated. Welcome to Petrea, Rasputin, I like the miniture. As far as controlling shadow, I usually just use a desk lamp and then up the fill light using Picasa 3 which is free software from Google found here.
